The Adventuring Abbeys Go To Arizona (2023 HIGHLIGHTS)

Normally, all of our family vlogs center around roller coasters - but this vlog is different.
When Derrick's parents broke the news to us in the fall of 2022 that they were moving out to Arizona, we were all shocked (let's just say: "shock" was just one of many emotions we all experienced that night). But in the end, we knew that their moving was the right thing for them to do and we've been so happy for them and the opportunities this move has provided them.
Do we miss them being closer and just a 5-hour drive away? Of course! But their moving out to Arizona means that we get to go visit them IN ARIZONA.
So, last fall, we planned an epic family trip out west.
It was the first time our children had ever flown on an airplane (as you can see, they were QUITE ecstatic).
We spent time in Arizona, but also took Derrick's parents with us and spent a few days at the beach in California as well.
It was such a memorable, amazing, fantastic vacation and we loved every single moment.
This vlog centers around JUST our time in Arizona. I've created other vlogs highlighting the parks we visited, as well as our time in California in general (they're all linked below). We loved Arizona and already cannot wait to go back!
