Oh good now i have reason to listen to books i already read. My libby account is going to love me.And yes listening to a book counts as reading
You're welcome:)
But seriously, highly recommend. I had a ptrjudices against switching formats on rereads, totally love that now.
I am struggling to maintain my interest in The Book of Form and Emptiness. The writing is excellent, but the story feels like an amalgam of other things I have read. I keep waiting for it to grab me a bit more so I can get through.
I can see that and would recommend a DNF. The reward isn't there if you don't enjoy it already.
I agree on Wuthering Heights-I have never understood the appeal. I’ve read it twice-once in school and then once in 2022 to make sure I wasn’t missing something-and that’s enough for me.
Same reason I reread it :D
Regarding Pride and Prejudice, I listened to the same Audiobook. I enjoyed it very much. The one problem I had was sometimes the sentences were long and complicated so I'd have to rewind and listen again. Other than that, it was great.
Thanks for sharing. Rereading I didn't notice the sentence structure, but good point for first time listeners!
