- I finally had time and enough dirt from the compost pile at the horse barn to work on a little landscaping project we began working on a couple of years ago.

Nice video Pat. Thanks for the update. Seems you're enjoying your new rig! I agree with your thoughts about the 3 Series being much more substantial in every way than the 2 Series. Both great rigs though for what they can do.
Thanks Frank, enjoying it very much!! I've echoed the same thoughts with every upgrade I've done, it's a natural progression moving up through the ranks.
Great video, Pat. Enjoy watching you put the new 3039R to work. However, I'll be putting mine to work very soon, it's here and now getting some additional things done. Wheel spacers, fender flares, etc. No more open station weather, instead climate controlled cab! 😁 I'd post a picture but have no idea how to do so!!
I'm really happy for you Rod, cabs sure are nice. Quiet as well, not something I honestly gave much thought too when purchasing. I'm on Facebook/Instagram as well.

We're currently trying to find a good local shop for more shirts, my guy closed up when the plandemic started and never reopened.
Do miss having an open station for dirt work? I haven’t done any with my 5 and enjoy the open air of the other two, when the weather is temperate. Especially for dirt work

I was just going to ask if you missed the MSL loader and then you mentioned that you do in your video. It sure looks like you are enjoying the cab and I don’t blame you a bit! I like the new angle gage you installed on the windshield 👍
Thanks David, like I said, give and take. I would prefer the MSL, but I have a cab and a better tractor, guess I’ll have to tough it out. lol

Just curious why you wouldn’t bring the trailer to the pile to load up? Too muddy?
Not so much muddy, but slick enough. The hill coming up from the pastures to the barns is very steep, the camera never does slopes and grades justice. Our bigger 2555 4wd could easily pull this up and out, but no way I was putting that tractor where I needed to dump this load.

How does or did the 3039R do with towing that dumper?
Actually quite well, better than expected and definitely feels better than it did behind the 2038R.

@@krismay6021 I'll have to try and get you a measurement sometime, but I'm pretty sure it's a 6 x 10.
Is the joystick on your 3039r is very stiff?
No sir, I mentioned this in my review video that I just put up a couple of weeks ago. I have read in Facebook groups that many are stiff, I don't think mine is, but it's possible I've just gotten used to it.
@ElkCreekAcres sorry I haven't seen that video where you explain. I have the 2038r open station wanted to trade for the 3039r cab but that was the only thing I didn't like the joystick I had to make alot of force with my hand and that was not comfortable. Am still undecided just because of that
@@dannyboy9254 I understand, it's a big decision these days. The joystick doesn't bother me, I don't have any trouble be smooth and making minor adjustments when using it. Check out the video though, I make a lot of reference to the 2038R that I had previously.

I have 3” spacers on this. But if you’re referring to flipping the wheels it only gains about an inch on the newer ones.
