Thanks, this brought back great memories of my father playing this song almost daily in stride style when I was growing up. I also play and will have to learn it.
Thank you for covering this piece...i think its one of the most beautiful melodies ever written along with Somewhere over the Rainbow or " Someday my Prince will come" thanks again...loved those chords !
Glad you like it!
Chega de Saudade is up there too. Pure Imagination and On the Street Where you live !
Simply beautiful. Thanks, Tony.
Hoagy Carmichel's magnificent tune with the words from Mitchell Parish .
Wonderful! Congratulations! Thank you for sharing this beautiful song!😊🎵🙏👏👏👏👏
long ago I was needing this tutorial. Thanks Tony.
That was fun. Thank you Tony
Profesor,a mí me encanta esta melodía,usted muestra la forma de tocarla. Gracias por ser generoso y difundir.Abrazos desde Argentina.
Great. Can see every note
Tony, you are the man !
Great post.
Thank you Bob!
more of these "good ones".!!! THANKS. 🙂
2:20 - 2:29 made me chuckle!
Awesome vid once again! Thank you:)
Sublime
Nice! 😃
Thanks!
I never heard of this piece. But I will listen to it and add it to my repertoire ❤. Thanks Tony!
It's not very popular anymore. House is not a home... much better!
It's a classic, written by Hoagy Carmichael (1928?), but developed through the 1930s into the classic arrangement by Nat King Cole in the 1950s.
Really? But you will hear it many many times from now on. This is one of the most popular songs in pop tune among all.
Michael Buble covered it...very nicely..& also sang it live" with Take 6"
where have you been Olie? this is one of the top 40 all-time favorite.
So good! What happened with the stride arrangement of 'Dream a little Dream of me' it's already on patreon?
I'm working on it. I was playing it today, still coming up with ideas. Stride doesn't come easy for me
@@TonyWinston thank you Tony! I'm excited to start learning that one. I'm also not familiar with Stride, that's why I want to learn it.
✌ 🎹
good for you... stupid youtube police bots!!
Song is almost 100 years old, should be in the public domain
I never liked this song and I still don’t.
Then wtf did you watch ? You shithead
@@livingpiano I watched for two reasons: 1. Tony is an outstanding musician and educator. 2. I’m open minded and willing to give tunes multiple chances especially if they are presented in an interesting context.(Please recommend a version which might convert this shit-head of mine into a stardust-head.)

How can you not like stardust
@@nezkeys79 It’s too schmaltzy and sentimental. The melodic line doesn’t lend itself to improvisation.
