I am an educator with a Master's degree, so I know there are many choices free thinking individuals can make. We all know knowledge is power. Kanye would have to put his words to action as not to appear as ineffective as by his admission George Bush and Barack Obama had been. Kanye talks about cleaning up Chicago, so what has he done to help in this effort? What educational, vocational, and behavioral programs and policies will he discuss with the president, Ms. DeVos, and other qualified individuals to fix the systemic issues plaguing African American and other marginalized communities?
At the end of the day, I personally feel as if this is a marketing ploy for the release of his new music. It is ironic that people seemingly can interpret what he meant by saying he "meant" mental bondage instead of physical bondage.
