    A fine pair of doors but they may flap a little in the wind because there is no support at the bottom. I personally would have installed track at the bottom for extra strength & protection in windy conditions. I guess they can always be added at a later stage if required. Great barn though I must say. Wow, what a great build. approximately how much did this cost to build your barn this way. I'm looking at Building a detached garage and have been considering going this route. It looks very cost effective. I'm hoping to build mine 24ft x 24ft. also what did you do for a foundation. looks like you built it on cinderblocks around a patio stone pad. Is this correct or did you pour slabs? I have been debating on building on sonotubes. Again awesome build!

    • @normalguydoesitall
      @normalguydoesitall  3 роки тому +12

      Thanks! The foundation is of paving stones, around which I poured a concrete support.The dimensions of my building are 5.2 meters x 7.2 meters. My cost is about 500 to 600 euros so far, (and it is very cost effective) because I got some material for free, such as pallets, wall boards and paving stones. I hope that was helpful. And thank you again!

    What is the cost of biulding a pallet barn? For all that your doing ? Can you tell the total cost an just how many pallets have you used to biuld this barn? I'm in Arkansas small town Van Buren, way out in the country an I would like to know ? Lumber is so high right now but I'd like to know if that wouldn't be asking to much? Thank you Sir. Your on part 4# biulding barn.

    • @normalguydoesitall
      @normalguydoesitall  2 роки тому

      Hey, I am sorry for a late response. Wood is expensive now, yes, but when I built it, the prices were better. I used 32 pallets in this build. For me the total cost is about 2500-3000 euros, inside it is concrete, some wooden beams, osb plates, door material, screws, etc. I got a lot of things for free, like the pallets, the red board for the wall and the bitumen material for the roof. This construction paid off for me in every way. 2 interior build videos are up to, we still need to make bars for the boxes. Thank you! I'm planning to make a review video right now because the stable is already 2 years old ;)

      If music is the only thing to comment on, why not at all? You know how hard it is for people to please, there is always someone who doesn't like what I do? I do as I please and that's it. Thank you!

    Замечательная идея .
    Видимо где-то рядом расположена психиатрическая лечебница откуда всё время слышны выкрики пациентов .
