Hope you get to feeling better soon. I know you mentioned working on your weight as well and trying to cut back while also being under the weather is hard. Best of luck man! Also was surprised to see you on the comment shoutouts on GTN's latest vid, but a well deserved one with all the recent talk on cost of triathlon and if drafting should be race legal. Feel like your comment went hand-in-hand with that.
Hi Dan, I know where you are coming from but your body will tell you, as it has done "rest is best" especially with respiratory tract cold's and flu. Sounds like you are listening though and taking a step back. You are nearly there though and when you are feeling 100% you will be great. I've just had major surgery and can't cycle for 6 weeks and then will be indoor gentle for another 6 weeks after that. I can however do physio and I have added in light weights while sitting so that I take advantage of this off season. I am visualising my return when I am able with the weather much improved. The main thing is though that we have a plan for these set backs. I don't think you are moaning as you are actually just vocalising what most of us go through when we can't do the things we love but you have adapted your plans. Get well soon and keep up the video's they are keeping me going.
