- So this is my new little studio sandbox/toy room where I'll be playing around and testing out rhythms and ideas that pop into my head. I'll also be recording everything to cassette tape. Sometimes it'll be multi-track. Sometimes 2-track analog. We're staring off with the #Akai MPC 2500 drum machine.

Love the analog tape sound. Removes some of the high end harshness from instruments and makes the low end sound better
Facts
Nice. I got my start on a Tascam Porta-03 mkII about thirty years ago. I kinda wish I still had it. There's a cool vibe when you use analog tape.
