I’m personally always trying to edit down to a couple multi-use products and it would be fun to see how you would choose with different levels of constraint.
Matilda, I wanted to say that I recently got the Caudalie hand cream at your recommendation and I love it! I usually hate putting moisturizer on my hands (it never seems to absorb fast enough) but this one is amazing!

I received manuka honey "origani mineral" lip balm in a gift and its now one of my favourites, it absorbs nicely and leaves my lips looking and feeling nourished! I hadn't heard of the brand before a friend gifted it to me but now I can't go without ! :))

I love the thick feel of it, the curved doefoot, and the gorgeous shades. Speaking of doefeet, Lawless has one that perfectly hugs the lips, and is lovely in general. It’s another one that’s supposed to be plumping, but I like it for other reasons.

I love Fitglow's Night Serum. I think if it wasn't for plane travel during COVID, I would have never tried it. I usually use Lanolips 101 at home but never outdoors because of the need to apply with one's fingers. So the hunt was on to find a balm in bullet form or with a doe applicator to use on the plane and outdoors. What a surprise! I now carry it in my purse and use it especially when I'm out and about!
Matilda - I just discovered your channel and it is my absolute favorite for beauty reviews. I think you would really love Tarte Quench Lip Rescue balms. Something new to try, maybe. They are so shiny, sheer and feel lovely. Rose and Nude are my favorites.

This video is great to round up my know how on the lip balm gloss cross combos. I was curious about the dior maximiser ! Regarding the westman atelier i had the warm red color and it was great on the hydration and looks, giving a translucent stained glass look on the lips. My peet peeve was that i finished it very fast, and it clogged up several times. Also because of the packaging is hard to re-emulsify and i had to do that with a q tip wasting product each time. I looooved the roen formula( got the purple berry in the winter based on your review). I wish roen would release more colors. I would love a billiant orange for the summer

Few trouble themselves to make so many fine distinctions. It's comforting to listen to someone evaluate things and make careful judgements even though it's only makeup-- completely the opposite experience of watching the Tory candidates. I was bit grumpy last time as I was trying to cope with my own face instead of shiny packages and pretty colours in isolation. Hate those rude awakings! 7:13 Emulsions are just a solution of hydrophilic and lipophilic ingredients, creams and most balms fall under that category.Emulsions as a separate product category are just another marketing trick.What is marketed as an emulsion is mostly just a very thin moisturizer (very thin emulsion).
I did mention that several of these are in the 'plumping' category, but none have true plumping effects like tingling or burning - they just smooth the lips to make them look more full ☺️👍 x

The Dior Maximizer Serum looks so intriguing! I feel like it’s comparable to MAC’s prep and prime for lips?
