Great job on summing it up without spoiling! I watched the movie and the rating on my country for the movie is everyone. I disagree that this is not for children, the theme is family and it is quiet fantastical. There is an early short scene that maybe a bit shocking but I don't remember anything inappropriate. The war only mentioned in brief and not shown.

Thanks for watching. Yeah, you're right, nothing inappropriate, only a bit frightening perhaps. Or at least compared to the rest of the catalog. But I surely watched more frightening scenes than this as a child. Ha!
