Thanks much for the great video! A short note, there is a small rubber gasket that attaches on the underneath side of the sensor. Mine was deteriorated and broke when removing the MAF sensor. A box of asst. rubber gaskets at Autozone included the one size that fit. I could see the build up of junk on the two wires inside the tube. After spraying the cleaner and gently using a small paint brush to wipe I could see that there is a small sensor on each wire so I assume be careful. Once reattached my CEL went off instantly. I think this fixed the CEL I was getting but I'll give it a couple days, it had been intermittent.
This might just help me. I drove my car I’m rain this weekend with the same intake and every since then if u get the car sit more then 12 hours and get completely cold it had a weird misfire kinda thing gonna clean my maf and ess tomorrow
Another thing, you could do is pull the spark plugs and get an oil can with atf like mercon v and oil the apex seals (Don’t get too carried away with how much you use, but use more than a drop.) each one by rotating the crank/E-shaft. No joke, I replaced an engine that looked like it just had carbon sticking the apex seals. At least it was my car, and not a customer.
Hi it´s possible to send me a mail i have some problems with my RX8 2004 automatic .. the engine stopped when i drive ...and no more start ... i turn the key and have one noise ..tac tac tac ...i test the start it´s Ok ...whats wrong with my engine ?? i put new oil and filter ...i put new sparks ... and engine nothing ..please help me

I got a 99' Mazda Proteģe LX. So thats all i got to do to clean it?
so i’m getting random misfires detected, p0300 is the code. can this cause it if it’s faulty?

This would be your cheapest option to try. Next would be to replace coils, leads, plugs.

Most probably a Immobilser problem which lights flash or show when turning the key ?

Yes, provided it's the contact cleaner "specialist" variant. But plain WD40 coats the sensor up and turns it into garbage.
