I have seen Frankie Valli, In concert, 156 times. I’ve NEVER been let down. He’s amazing. I saw him, last month in San Jose. I WILL be going to the Westgate . He’ll be 90, May 3rd. An amazing entertainer. An amazing man. I have several pictures of me with him.
I saw Frankie a few months ago at Westbury NY. I do not feel he is lip syncing because he talks while performing. He shakes hands and interacts with the audience. I have seen him many times but not as many as you. I hope he keeps singing his songs.
He does not look like he is breathing the way that a singer must breathe. He certainly does not open his mouth very much to produce that sound. Love Frankie. Love the music. Doesn't change if he is lip syncing.
No dancing is really to be expected from a 90 year old person. If something happened where he might fall, it could be life-threatening. As for the lip-syncing, at this point, the main purpose of seeing Frankie Valli is seeing Frankie Valli, one of the all-time greats.
Bob Gaudio's writing in the mid 70s, ("December 63," "Who Loves You Pretty Baby ") those hits are why this group kept working . Bob put them on the map , as much as Frankie's voice. He's an absolute genius. He's not performing now. but at least Frankie is still working and I hope that Gaudio continues to earn money from these shows. He deserves it.
He and Bob Crewe wrote their 60's hits too, he was a working member, singing, playing keyboards and guitar all through the 60's, Gaudio even wrote their first hit 'Sherry'. They were all very talented.
I'm from New Jersey and Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons are my favorite group from my home state. Whether or not he lip synchs doesn't matter to me at all. He's a legend and deserves respect for what he has accomplished. Also, his real fans don't care. We're just glad he's still with us and performing. We come to his shows having a good time celebrating these great songs. Joe, you and the people in Las Vegas are in luck. Frankie signed a contract deal for a residency at The Westgate in Las Vegas for 2024 so next year you'll have plenty of more opportunities to go see him again.
I saw him probably thirty years ago in one of the CT casinos, he wasn't even singing the falsettos back then, one of the guitarists did them although it was not very obvious. I would be willing to bet that his vocals are all autotuned now if he's not lip syncing. I've been a Four Seasons fan since about 1964. Saw the Jersey Boys play live in NY too, it's great. Yup the band does support him a lot. The original Four Seasons were great, played and sang all their own stuff on their records in an era of studio players. I'm a longtime bassist and they always had great bass players in the band, Nick Massi, Charles Calello and Joe Long were all great melodic bass players. Good review, you're very kind.
Love Frankie Valli and all the concerts ..I get to anyone I can over the years. Since I was 19 I have followed him wherever I can ....just love seeing him and hearing the wonderful songs. Such a wonderful vibe always !!!
I have been a fan when i was 15. im 72 and still love him and his music. My son came with me to one of his concerts. never cared for that type of music. he liked it so much hes always asking if he can take me. he loves Frankies music. Hes the best, thank you Frankie Valli for your wonderful music and your the best.
Thank you for sharing this of Frankie Valli’s show I appreciated he is my favorite singer at all times all his songs are awesome and love hearing it never get tired of it . He is most likable person I meet him one time and have picture together that was October 23’04with my daughter ! Once again thank you ! ( 4/19’23)
THANK You! I have been blessed to have personal interactions with Frankie. When he walks on stage I still cry for being able be in the same room. He is not still touring for the money he has plenty. I asked him why he does it and without hesitation The love he receives from the eyes of the audience is a love he committed to forever. THANK You Frankie for being a true love. You are my hero, all 100 lbs of you. Kurt.
Agree with EVERYTHING you said ! Grew up as a very young Canadian teen with his music, just feeling blessed and fortunate that we all (my wife, myself and Frankie) lived long enough and healthy enough to finally be at one of his shows together in our lifetime❤❤❤. We are both 70, have seen a number of excellent (and all younger) performers and both agreed this was as good and enjoyable for us as ANY (including Garth Brooks, Neil Diamond, Elton John, etc.).
I am a fan since 8 years old…his was my first album, and then mom bought me Chubby Checker’s album….I was hoping to see him June 3rd in Westbury but he canceled due to the flu…it is re-scheduled for Nov. 30th…I wish him all the best….oh and I just saw Barry Manilow on May 31st at Radio City Music Hall, he was wonderful as usual as I have seen him other times…he had an intermission too, when he got back on stage he said “did you all go use the bathroom?” The whole place laughed.
I don’t care if he lip syncs. The thing that makes me thinks he does is there is no variation in the songs like there usually is with live performances. The songs sound exactly the same every time. I agree with you. It doesn’t matter. I don’t want to spend the whole show staring at his lips. It’s the reminiscing. He’s still amazing!❤
Regardless of the lip syncing its still a great show production.. Ive seen two of the shows and left fully satisfied . I would rather have him available on stage then at home on the couch.,
Just saw Frankie in Indio, CA a couple of weeks ago, (11/24) & yes, he is INCREDIBLE! Great show, great music, EVERYONE was happy, keeping time, singing, some dancing, it was wonderful! We were so lucky to have him (the 4 seasons) & all the music.
I have been a fan since I was 16 yrs. old and I'm 83. Have seen him 9 yrs in a row up until COVID and loves his songs. Everyone one of his songs bring me to tears. He has definitely aged (but don't we all) and who cares that he lip sics he will be 89 in 2 months and he loves what does and will do this until they carry him off. Your review was beautiful thank you❣️
He's had covid and pneumonia and at his age! What an incredible entertainer! Never got to see him live, wish I could have! Just listened to the interview of Bob Gaudio, it was fantastic!
If he is in fact iip syncing the honest thing would be to have a disclaimer that the performer is miming to prerecorded tracks when purchasing the tickets
Saw him in Dayton, OH last summer. Not gonna lie when I purchased tickets I had very low expectations given his age and seeing the age of the crowd I was like, OMG lol I do believe he is lip syncing but how cares the man is not a spring chicken, the band the 4 seasons really pulls it together and I have been a huge fan since that nite!!!! So many hits and seeing such an icon in person was a blessing. Can’t wait to see him again, god willing, he’s amazing and I highly recommend going to see him, you will not be disappointed 🤘
The fact that he somehow gets himself up onstage and stands up for that length of time is admirable. The lip syncing, however, is pitiful. He looks like an automaton at this point. He has nothing to prove, as he’s already a globally recognized icon. I think it’s sad to see legends not know when to hang it up. I prefer to remember them in their full glory than to see them as shells of their former selves. That’s just my opinion. I hope he’s not doing this out of financial necessity, as that would truly be a shame.
I don't care if FRANKIE LIPSYNCS OR NOT he is great entertainer. I am going to see him in August and can not WAIT I'M ECSTATIC Have not ever got to see him in person so can't wait i have listened to Frankie l❤love Frankie so much since i was 10 i just turned 69 and what an awesome entertainer Can not pick out 1 favorite THEY ALL ARE FAVORITES. YOU REVIEW WAS AWESOME Thank you for sharing
A great entertainer? He lip syncs, his face is frozen, he barely moves his lips and he just stands there looking into space. How or where is that entertaining.
@@bassb450You admitted or not you’re criticizing him !What do you expect an 89 years old move like 16 years old ? Thats normal when we get old if you didn’t know !Thanks
Saw Frankie last Oct 2022 at detroits fox theature and again this past July 2023 at Freedom Hill amphitheater in sterling heights mi. Both shows were amazing brought back memories when I saw him 40byears ago.
I have been a Frankie Valli fan since I first heard Sherry in 1962 (at the age of 4). Now, 60+ years later, my wife and I have been to dozens of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons shows, and each and every one was great. We even followed him over to England during Summer 2022 and saw 6 of his shows there. He is a champ!
I am sorry you believe that, but I doubt that I can open your closed mind long enough to think differently. Just saw Frankie perform this past Friday night at Radio City Music Hall, front row in front of him, and Frankie was doing the singing. Since you are so convinced, then don't go to the show. Someone else will fill that seat, since his shows are usually sold out. And, folks will be going home humming a happy tune from the show.@@richardvanoudheusden7935
I think he does use a backing track/lip sync because it's true that almost every performance is identical however there's a few rare instances I've seen where he's slightly off or he comes in late. Actually most of his moments that would convince someone he's singing live have been at UK concerts. Here's the thing, people who say Frankie can't sing anymore are WRONG! He clearly can because he's making new albums and has been the last 20 years people have been claiming he is lip syncing. Now does he sing live at shows - probably very rarely there's clear footage of him lip syncing where he got off and it's very obvious but sometimes he does it so impeccably that nobody can tell hence all his fans are still to this day arguing about it. So I personally think that Frankie is nearly 90 years old and he probably can sing well on a good day when he decides to get into a recording studio and record some tracks for a new album but I'm guessing at his age he's got some bad days too and the show must go on basically so he "fakes" through the show lip syncing and still giving the audience a great show. After watching alot of his shows, you can kinda tell if he's having a good night or a bad night. If he's doing bad he's not very talkative between songs and he's pretty stiff on stage. If he's doing well he'll be really talkative between songs, tell all the old stories, he might do that rap thing that he does for humor, and his stage presence will be greatly elevated with a lot of hand gestures, eye contact with backup singers/musicians, etc. It just comes down to he's still getting out there and doing what he can to bring happiness to his fans. This video conveyed my feelings on him and his show very well and I can't wait till I have an opportunity to see him again!
Great video. I totally agree. I saw him at Pachanga in November 2022. I was riveted throughout the entire show. I alway wanted to see him. I'm so grateful that I was finally able to. A very powerful performance by Frankie and his entire crew.
I saw him over 30 years ago at VALLEY FORGE MISIC FAIR in Philly. THE ASSOCIATION opened up. He was struggling to hit the high note so pointed the mic at the audience. Great show… AMAZING how many great tunes he has… Viva the original GERIATRIC BOY (oops… sorry!) -as for whether he sings or not, I think part of his genius was picking great tunes and surrounding himself by great musicians, so I wouldn’t be disappointed even if his voice was digitalized in some way. The man wrote the soundtrack of our lives. Full kudos!
I have seen Frankie numerous times over the last 10 years. I am convinced he is NOT lip synching. I have seen him lose his place and miss a line in a song and need to be coached by Robbie Robinson where to come back in. There was no voice when this happened...all natural. I have also seen him stop and talk or promote the audience to sing at different moments when singing. I also caught him at sound check singing snippets of songs...no lip synching. He can still do it!
I think it is beyond reason to suggest that Frankie does not lip sync to some degree . We know for sure that his magical singing voice , the best voice in the history of the world , is still as great as ever - check out his fairly recent jazz album - But I don't think he can hit the high notes on a Sherry , etc. . Some song parts are being covered . Frankie has been my #1 by far since day one , Ragdoll probably the best song ever . Saw him around '73 on the grass at the Starret City site in Bklyn , just a few rows back . A hilite of my life . I couldn't care if he lip sync'd every word , he's an irreplaceable legend , there's no Jersey Boys for me or Four Seasons tribute bands because there can only be one Frankie , he's a humble down to earth guy who's larger than life .
I’ll tell you I would feel so fortunate to even be a part of the audience. His songs are the soundtrack to my life . Tickets are expensive otherwise I would be there. I have watched this show for hours over and over. He is amazing whether he sings or not we should be grateful to hear his music. He has given his entire life to making the world happier place.❤❤❤❤❤
Heck I can listen to his music on Spotify, UA-cam, and other formats. Why would I pay big money to watch an elderly man who graced us for many years with his talent standing on stage lip syncing looking so out of place. No thank u. I can watch his videos and wish him all the best in his retired life.
I’ve seen Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons many, many times over the years. They were one of the first concerts we saw back in 1972! If he is lip syncing, I give him a pass! He’s 90 years old and I give him credit he’s still able to get out there and perform! God bless him, keep on rockin' Frankie! 🎶🎤❤️🎶
We saw Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons last night at the Thunder Valley Casino in Lincoln, CA. In a nutshell, we had an outstanding experience! We had great seats, close to the stage and we were aware of the rumors he lip-syncs. We looked for that and we both felt he sang every note. But even if he did, we wouldn't felt cheated. We have been to many shows of the best Rock n Roll singers and groups an we are putting this show at the very top. 89 years old...freakin amazing. The 5200 folks in the audience loved Frankie Valli.
Thanks for mentioning your seat at Westgate theater. It is very helpful since I might travel to Vegas for Angelina's concert and I was wondering about the view from the last row of the floor level.
If he does lip synch, at his age, who cares? I saw Diana Ross recently and she was so off vocally, it was embarrassing. She REALLY should lip synch, now. Frankie is amazing and his all-new Four Seasons are sublime. A truly great show.
I saw him about 15 years ago in Vegas. An ok show, but I would imagine a random performance of Jersey Boys would be better. My first impression was that the four seasons were all spring, It looks from this video, that one or two of them are now up to summer. Even then, the production and sound engineering were overwhelming, but the synthesizer sounded like Franie Valli, and that was good enough for us boomers. He tuned ninety on the third of this month.
There has to be a question as to whether it might be the ethical thing to do to admit to lip-syncing when it is being done. Along those same lines, if a famous band from the past does not have any of its original members, can it use the name of the band? Perhaps at least admit that to the members being replacements. Just my 2 cents.
he is 89 years old and he is old school so no he does not lip sync because if he had to do that he probably wouldnt bother . i was sitting front seat and he was still a great singer . so make the most of this legend and dont waste time .
Yes he's been lip syncing for over 20 years. It's unfortunate but I've accepted it and I'm happy to go to the shows! Just wish I could've seen him seen 'live' once! I Was too young though.
Buts it still great show and band. Ya get a nice full big band and vocals plus some good Musicians are working a great gig.. look at the McCartney show, his voice is a train wreck. I would have to get blackout drunk to watch him live.. I knew some of Franks past employees back to 2003. Hes been lip snyching at least since then maybe earlier.
Lip syncing... He has a mic with an on/off thumb switch. He switches it on for the spoken parts. In a recent video the mic was live but the backing track didn't come on - (December 63 "Oh I get that kind of feeling), and he sounded dreadful about 4 notes lower and really tuneless. Suddenly the track started and he sounded like a chipmunk. So, he's clearly singing along but the vocal we hear is an old digitally enhanced vocal from about 20 years ago. The band is live playing along to a click track.
Hi Joe, thank you for your efforts to talk about Frankie Valli is just is just I am very fond of him so mush far beyond and all I can say about him , he is a likable person with his fans and I do love him for that. He is lip syncing or not , will I don’t mind is just I love this Guy . Once again , Thank you !😊
I've seen Frankie four times. I sat right up in front. When I saw him, I really don't think he was lip sinking, because he would pause, and it would show. You can't break when you lip sync. And his eyes - black as coal!! They see right through you!! Wow!! Right to your soul!!! IF he lip synced, he would do all of Lets hang on, as recorded. He doesn't. He nailed Dawn, and pretty well nailed Rag Doll. I just doubt that he lip syncs. He is awesome!!!! God bless him!!!
I saw Valli and his Four Seasons Band last summer in Orange County CA, front row and center and he sang every song that evening. The crowd was on their feet the majority of the evening and gave him a standing ovation (brought tears to many eyes, its on my channel) that was jaw dropping, they loved his performance. Be well and great comment.
The only time I got to see him was on my 21st birthday back in 1978. You are right that when he makes eye contact with you, he can see right into you. Nobody has done that to be before, or since. It was a bit scarey, but at the same time, comforting and humbling.
I don't think he does either. In some parts of the songs he let's the audience sing when he can't hit some notes. He is an icon! What a unique voice he has!
I saw him many times. I can’t comment on lip sinking. But his show is excellent. And he is extremely cordial and entertaining. If possible I would not miss a chance to see him again because he is that good. I never get tired of seeing or hearing him sing. I can’t imagine how he does the show. There was no intermission when I saw him.
@@johanna6050 thanks so much for the spelling lesson . I very much appreciate anytime I can improve my spelling etc. I appreciate using the English language correctly. I will remember your information in the future. I imagine it was me that made the error ,however, the iPad has a mind of its own and it may have changed my spelling. Seen Frankie 6 times and we’re up close in Vegas and he wasn’t lip syncing. Also saw him in London last year and he actually sang out of tune for a second or so. So no way does he lip sync
I'm a huge fan, his music is timeless but seeing him recently its not a concert really.. I mean he isn't singing and that's obviously, he's an incredible guy, but it's probably time to end the shows..
It’s not lip singing, it’s lip syncing. No question he’s singing to a recorded track. Can’t believe some people truly can’t tell that he’s not really singing.
[ Can’t believe some people truly can’t tell that he’s not really singing. ] Same reason people think trump doesn't lie and believes everything he says..
With ya bro. Ive been counting his eye blinks per song. Its become my mission. I think hes sending a cryptic message to me via more code. Im using the numbers to play lotto. Wish me luck!
Don't know if lip sync or not,but I know for sure if GOD can allow a woman 93 yr old woman to conceive GOD can allow Mr valli to sing and hit high notes HE'S GOD HE CAN ALLOW ANYTHING TO HAPPEN, keep on singing frankie valli long as our GOD gives you strength to 😇
I'm with you on the lip syncing. I've said this before in other comments, but I'd like to set a specific age, like what? 70? After 70, we don't have a spaz and/or hassle our beloved singers for voice correction technology. In 2012, there was quite a big sxxt-storm amongst purist fans during The Beach Boys' 50th anniversary tour about autotune supposedly being used both live and in the studio (they put out a new album that year too). Well, I must admit they sounded damn good. Then after being made aware of the controversy, I went and really listened, and yes, they sound very damn _suspiciously_ good! Lol I saw Sinatra three times in his elderly years. He sounded wonderful most of the time, but the decades, the wives, and all the Jack Daniels & cigarettes were in that voice. And I liked it that way. Then he was quite a ways into Alzheimer's when he croaked out the Duets albums. I liked them fine. I would have loved them if it was just him. Lol. People didn't say anything about his voice on _Duets._ It just wasn't done. You just didn't hassle Mr. Sinatra about his rough voice at 80. There were exceptions, but you didn't hear a lot about it-except the occasional a-hole out of some outfit like Rolling Stone or something. Maybe some of those who did say and wrote things ended up encased in concrete somewhere, who knows... Lol But I am, usually, a purist who doesn't have time for fakers. Not if they're in their 20s. I'd love to see Tom Jones one day. He's 80-something and I can _just tell_ that he doesn't use any voice stuff. Because his amazing voice is just imperfect enough to be natural, and that's what makes it so incredible..
Wasn't there , but as a singer and pretty well versed in live audio it looks like he is lip syncing to me . Let's assume he can still sing in that register at that age which would be VERY rare, what I see is he isn't breathing like a singer would to support his voice. You need to kind of "load up" as it were for certain passages and even somebody as slick as Sinatra was at hiding his breathing you'd still see it , MORE so when you are old and lose diaphram strength . Second is he isn't using any mic technique to modulate his volume . It stays in the same place . Yes there's ways to set things up to minimize that need but when the material is as varied as Frankie's is , requiring a equal variety of singing approaches , that's not very likely . But hey I could be wrong and if his fans don't mind either way I say do your thing .
Yes, he is a great musician. He grew up in a section that is called Silver Lake in Newark, NJ. When married he moved to Nutley, NJ where I'm from. He lived next door to one of my relatives. Feels like family because my Aunt drove his daughter to school with my cousin. I could see his concerts over and over.
You are really kind in these reviews. From your footage, and given his age, etc, he looks bad but if you say it was a great show I believe you. He has what I call the "Brian Wilson stare." Brian has a similar thing - great young band but the years have caught up with him to the degree that many people think he should hang it up. It's a tough call. These folks are amazing with their history and contributions to music, that's for sure.
LOL you are not wrong about the Brian Wilson stare. That's a great name for it. Tony Bennett had the same look in his eye the last time I saw him and he hung it up a few months later
I seen him a few days ago and he was amazing. He's living doing what he loves and he's so professional and classic. I would definitely go to see him again. Had a great time! ❤❤
Saw him at Hollywood ,FLA on 02/9/24 I think it was. I have seen him 4-5 times in the last 10 years. I don't believe he lip sinks. I thought he was very good. He had Covid and he is 89. Amazing. He didn't move around on stage as much as in the past but did bend over and shake hands with the audience. He is calling this an Encore tour and said he is going to cut back on touring. He said its not the shows but the travel. Who can blame him? I hate to see him quit but nothing lasts forever and it is certainly understandable. Great show to see and well worth the money, He puts on a good 1 1/2 hr plus show.
Totally agree. EXPERIENCE is the word. Best concert of the year, even ahead of Anka and Mathis, who were both great. They've been saying for years thst the young guys 'cover' for Frankie. Doesn't matter as youbsay. At his age give him a break. Just to see a legend like this still performing with great quality non stop music is amazing. Glad to hear the newly remarried man is cutting back a bit in 2024 . See him now as you never know... he's had a few health scares. Saw Neil diamonds last concert tour and so glad I did. Who would have known Parkinsons would stop him weeks later.... you can tell Frankie, 3 tines okder than his band and having outlived the originals by many years except Gaudio who retired, loves performing still. Not a bad song in the set. Infectious, yes.. Rock on Frabkie Valli. Why see Jersey Boys when you can Stull see the original
I went into the military when Sherry came out and I've been a Four Seasons fan ever since. AMAZING is the way to describe the fact that Frankie Valli is still touring to PACKED HOUSES!! His real fans are still coming to concerts. Lip sync or not, the fans don't evidently don't care, the still pack the house!! Rock on, Frankie Valli...
Just went to his show in Oklahoma last night, 1/26/24 at the Lucas Oil Live theater. He is definitely lip syncing but show was fun and seeing Frankie Valli was a treat. I should have gotten cheaper seats. I didn't know he was lip syncing and if I did, I would have gotten much cheaper seats. I bought seats 6 rows back from the stage. Farther back at the Lucas Oil venue would have been nice seats. I love his music. His musicians are fantastic. I'd go see him again but at age 89, I don't know how much longer he'll be on stage.
Put the myth to bed. Frankie Valli is really singing those tunes; he does not lip synch. I've been to many of his shows, and have observed him miss his "cue" or mix up the words on several occasions. Now, of course, the conspiracy theorists will come back and say that they deliberately inserted those "mistakes" in the lip sync audio.
I've seen Frankie a few times at NJPAC (his home State) and have never been disappointed. Is he really singing? If he is, he's doing it rather well. I was told the shows are all the same and there was some talk that he did record a playlist to use for his live shows, which is why the shows never change and he can remember everything so well. But do I care? I'm just lucky, I've actually seen him at close to 90. A true gentleman and legend ... Welcome back to Silver Lake Frankie!!
Seen his shows several times and each show is differant, fresh, funny, passionate. Always enjoyed and had a very good time. Oh yes, I am a big fan since the beginning.
He was a little before my time so when I heard his music, I didn’t like it but as I got older, I started liking it and the fact that he’s 90 and he walk with no aid he can still perform. Maybe he does lip-synch but it’s not as easy to breathe, and that will happen to all of us, there is senile emphysema and it happens all of us. You don’t have to smoke to get it. It just happened. I think he is doing fabulous for 90 he has energy and I would enjoy just seeing him so don’t give him a rough time. You don’t even know if you would get thereat 5090 looks so far away and when you do hit 90, you’re surprised and disappointed at the same time I think he is amazing❤
Loved your review, the guy is a Pop Legend & Icon, his show is still pretty amazing after all these years. I’m in my seventies and have seen him many many years ago and and as recent as 6 years ago. I wondered if he was lypsyncing too. Like you said, who gives a shit, he’s still great just seeing him still performing. At times I watched his back up singers when the tough notes came and felt like one of them was carrying him into those high notes. If he was then that’s great too, it’s all good because like you have said, his Music has stood up to the test of time. Bravo to Frankie and his band members.
he has had pneumonia. His voice still reaches the high range. It's wonder he's not dead after corona and pneumonia. Maybe his doctor told him to take a break on his lungs who knows. Read his interviews He still sings
You can tell it is lip syncing because his mouth does not open up at the spots where the notes are high and forceful. Definitely backed up with the original vocals. But still great to have him on stage to relive memories!
Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons played at my high school in Astoria, NY in the mid-60s! I look back and think how amazing that is.
unreal.. times have sure changed lol
Did you go to Mater Christi High School?
I have seen Frankie Valli, In concert, 156 times. I’ve NEVER been let down. He’s amazing. I saw him, last month in San Jose. I WILL be going to the Westgate . He’ll be 90, May 3rd. An amazing entertainer. An amazing man. I have several pictures of me with him.
Kudos to him for getting out there but he's not singing live.

@@NYCgirl927 You can't be THAT naive. His thumb is ALWAYS on the mic. He turns it on when he speaks and shuts it off when he is singing. Smarten up.
You shouldn’t be allowed to vote.. he’s been lip syncing for years and decades

Frankie and Bob have been partners for 63 years as the Four Seasons Partnership.
He and Bob Crewe wrote their 60's hits too, he was a working member, singing, playing keyboards and guitar all through the 60's, Gaudio even wrote their first hit 'Sherry'. They were all very talented.
You are SO RIGHT!!!
@BeautifulSpirit-kf5ld "December 63," "Who Loves You Pretty Baby ") Not even close to the best songs he and the 4 Seasons had. Those are leftovers.
Frankie signed a contract deal for a residency at The Westgate in Las Vegas for 2024 so next year you'll have plenty of more opportunities to go see him again.
thanks for listening.. i know.. i saw hes here for a while.. cant wait to goto a few of his shows!
I saw him a few months ago and the show was Fantastic! Highly recommend.
He has a parrot in the back that does the high parts now but you can’t see him.
Now it's apparent he's 100% lip synching 😥. Does he need a check that bad. Someone needs to tell him it's been over, give it a rest... go take a nap.🙏
To all the detractors in these comments - "Just. Don't. Go." I'm with Joe here. Just being in the same room with Frankie is almost a miracle.
Love Frankie Valli and all the concerts ..I get to anyone I can over the years. Since I was 19 I have followed him wherever I can ....just love seeing him and hearing the wonderful songs. Such a wonderful vibe always !!!

My son came with me to one of his concerts. never cared for that type of music. he liked it so much hes always asking if he can take me. he loves Frankies music. I have been blessed to
have personal interactions with Frankie.
When he walks on stage I still

He is not still touring

I asked him why he does it and without

is a love he committed to forever.
THANK You Frankie

Agreed

He looks like an animatronic
Saw him in Dayton, OH last summer.
Not gonna lie when I purchased tickets I had very low expectations given his age and seeing the age of the crowd I was like, OMG lol
I do believe he is lip syncing but how cares the man is not a spring chicken, the band the 4 seasons really pulls it together and I have been a huge fan since that nite!!!!
Great review! I have seen him in concert! Great music, great man!!!!
I don't care if FRANKIE LIPSYNCS OR NOT he is great entertainer.
I am going to see him in August and can not WAIT I'M ECSTATIC
Have not ever got to see him in person so can't wait i have listened to Frankie l❤love Frankie so much since i was 10 i just turned 69 and what an awesome entertainer
Can not pick out 1 favorite THEY ALL ARE FAVORITES. YOU REVIEW WAS AWESOME Thank you for sharing
A great entertainer? He lip syncs, his face is frozen, he barely moves his lips and he just stands there looking into space. How or where is that entertaining.

A lip syncing champ
Of course he's lip synching.. he must need the money
You think? Lol
Great video. I totally agree. I saw him at Pachanga in November 2022. I was riveted throughout the entire show. I alway wanted to see him. I'm so grateful that I was finally able to.
A very powerful performance by Frankie and his entire crew.
Those songs were icons of the '60s, since I was born---into HS! He is 4 yrs older than my young mom!
5:51 yes
I saw the show in Melbourne Fl. Fantastic show. The audience loved him.
Let's Hang On has been the closer for years
I’ll tell you I would feel so fortunate to even be a part of the audience.

He is a 100% class act.

Thanks for mentioning your seat at Westgate theater. It is very helpful since I might travel to Vegas for Angelina's concert and I was wondering about the view from the last row of the floor level.
Thanks for listening I've seen the show many times and I have no problem with the last row seats there. On the first level
Thanks for your review. We're seeing him tomorrow night.
I'm surprised hes still touring. It must be grueling for him at that age. Im happy to hear fans are there for him
There has to be a question as to whether it might be the ethical thing to do to admit to lip-syncing when it is being done.
Your full of shit…no way he’s lib syncing…
Buts it still great show and band. Ya get a nice full big band and vocals plus some good Musicians are working a great gig.. look at the McCartney show, his voice is a train wreck. I would have to get blackout drunk to watch him live.. I knew some of Franks past employees back to 2003. Hes been lip snyching at least since then maybe earlier.
I love him for who he is, ,I'm lucky I met him ❣️ my heart was pumped ❤
Saw Frankie 16 yrs ago a Nissan Privilion. He's still sounds amazing. Great performer at 89 yrs old.

I'm going to his Jersy show can you tell me if people in the orchestra stand the entire concert which will for me to stand for 2 hours.
I think he's that good and consistent STILL people almost can't believe it so they make false accusations.. or should I say falsetto accusations 😂
"Lip sinking" 😂😂
Frankie does NOT lip-sync. Watch his throat when he sings; you can tell that he is using his voice.
He's singing along but the vocal you hear is a backing track. It's not his current voice you're hearing....

Lol
I saw Sinatra three times in his elderly years. Lol
But I am, usually, a purist who doesn't have time for fakers. Not if they're in their 20s. I'd love to see Tom Jones one day. He's 80-something and I can _just tell_ that he doesn't use any voice stuff. Because his amazing voice is just imperfect enough to be natural, and that's what makes it so incredible..
Definitely go see Tom Jones.
I think he looks very handsome! 💄💗💄💄💄💄

If we’re honest, we have to conclude that he lip syncs. His lips move up and down, but his facial features don’t imitate the songs.

So because someone bent over and shook a hand that is a great performance? The only thing that got bent over was you for paying money to see this.
I HAVE BEEN IN AWE OF HIM SINCE THE EARLY 60'S!!!
If people want to pay money to hear him lip sync, that's their prerogative. I've always loved the 4 Seasons. But I will not pay to see him lip sync.
Just saw him in Rockford, IL. 10 stars. He lip synched a few songs and changed mike's several times
VERY NICE AND FAIR REVIEW! PROBABLY NOT REALLY SINGING, BUT HE GETS A MULLIGAN AT HIS AGE. HE IS AMAZING.
Great review............thank you for sharing your thoughts on the show.
thanks so much for listening, i appreciate it. hope you consider subscribing!
They were my favorite group, and bought several albums of theirs...jn
One of the first albums I bought when I was a kid was the Four Seasons. I agree that he is a legend and the music is magical.
When I got my first stereo for Christmas, the very first LP I bought was "Golden Hits of The 4 Seasons".
I want to know why he doesn't blink.
I love him but why at his age is he still doing this?
Bc people keep paying to see him 🤷🤷 and he is prob still paying off Tommy's debt lol. Jk
Because it beats sitting on the couch eating soft food.
he has had pneumonia. His voice still reaches the high range. It's wonder he's not dead after corona and pneumonia. Maybe his doctor told him to take a break on his lungs who knows. Read his interviews He still sings
He is absolutely lip syncing. There is ample proof of this on the internet
You can tell it is lip syncing because his mouth does not open up at the spots where the notes are high and forceful. Definitely backed up with the original vocals. But still great to have him on stage to relive memories!
He's %90 Head.
Frankie Valli,The Greatest! Of all time.Bee Gees a close second.
Frankie we love you thanks for coming to Kentucky come back anytime yes he still has it❤
