Shame about your industrial language that seems to indicate a lack of suitable vocabulary. Notwithstanding , from the images of the interior of this vast venue it is obvious this type of event was never going to be suitable for a rock & roll show . It appears to have a rather sleek ,soulless , auditorium creating a barrier between audiences and performers.

Was at the same show this week. I was so fortune I got free VIP tickets through a friend 36 hrs before the show. Booked a flight immediately and it was easily top 3 concert experiences I have had in my life. They are such an amazing live band and so fortunate to see it in their hometown.

Again I went to 3 shows at the O2 Arena in London capacity 20,000 sold out for about 10 shows also Scotland Manchester Ireland at huge arenas They’ve done huge festivals I mean Glastonbury is 210,000 😂😂😂so CP is a small venue for the Killers just saying The Killers are the best live Rock n Roll Band in the World Peace N B Wild ♥️🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️💥💥💥😃💥💥

Saw them on August 21 and it was great.

I was there August 17, and also saw them in London July 11. Cannot get enough of the Killers, they are so good live!

I couldn’t agree more on this review. was there last night. Just epic! every time I see them they just get better and better. expensive yes…..worth it …..absolutely!

I'm a gen X guy and most of my peers sort of look down on the band. Like they're just a pop band. But I've always been a fan and I saw them in 2021 and was blown away. I realized that this was U2 for millenials. They are hard working and their music is fantastic. They make hits. Every single song is a hit

Was there an opener or did they really start at 8pm?

It’s not a big venue for them. They sell out arena tours.

We were there, in 302! An incredible show. I saw them in MSG in 2018. That was my favorite concert to date and it couldn’t compare to this show. They were so much fun in their city with their crowd. Worth the drive from MT

My wife and I flew in for the show. So glad we did. Just incredible from start to finish. The band sounded amazing. We thought originally about the next show in CO at Red Rocks, but those prices were crazy! Someday though... I HAVE to see a show at Red Rocks. Bucket list concert venue for me. We are thinking of going back to Vegas for Sammy's b-day bash in Oct!!

Thanks for the review-I passed on seeing this tour in Denver,only because I couldn't justify the cost,being on social security and retired--saw Sammy the first time with Montrose back in 1973 in high school, he's always been awesome.

Hey Joe great review. At 90 now, recent videos look like he is clearly lip Synching. These days he is barely moving his mouth. As you said, who cares. Still a great show. The Band, the back up guys and the songs are worth the trip. I'll be seeing him in Jersey in September.

Not only have I seen Sammy Hagar 12 times, but I met him twice in Boston Ma. 1998 and 1999. Two meet and greets while being affiliated with WAAF 107.3 FM radio station Boston. He was very cordial, and fun. I have some great pictures with him that are proudly displayed on my studio wall.

Thanks for your honest review. Her "difficult diva" image is mostly a myth/misinformation among non-fans. In reality, Mariah is a great talent with a fun personality and an amazing discography. Glad you enjoyed!

Saw them in Wheatland, CA (?) last night. As Sammy said: "isn't Wheatland really Sacramento?" Lol. Great show. Sounds like the same setlist that you describe. All the VH hits. I love Satch. He's a great fit for the band. Sammy has great energy for his age . Still belting them out but his age is catching up. Anyways, great show.

I saw him over 30 years ago at VALLEY FORGE MISIC FAIR in Philly. THE ASSOCIATION opened up. He was struggling to hit the high note so pointed the mic at the audience. Great show… AMAZING how many great tunes he has… Viva the original GERIATRIC BOY (oops… sorry!) -as for whether he sings or not, I think part of his genius was picking great tunes and surrounding himself by great musicians, so I wouldn’t be disappointed even if his voice was digitalized in some way. The man wrote the soundtrack of our lives. Full kudos!

Their early songs will last forever. Saw the original 4 Seasons at Euclid Beach Park in Cleveland in 1964. Not big on the Disco/Schmaltz era but saw him twice in the 80's. Is he lip syncing? Who cares? Nobody did falsetto like Frankie. Nobody. One of a kind group in the day. He was good on the Sopranos too!

If people want to pay money to hear him lip sync, that's their prerogative. I've always loved the 4 Seasons. But I will not pay to see him lip sync.

I watched the show last night in Ridgefield, WA. Man, I was blown away. The first time I saw Sammy with VH was in 1987 at Monsters of Rock. I was taken back in time. No EVH or AVH, but man they really paid solid tribute to EVH with Satriani killing it. I had an awesome experience.

It was an AMAZING show! I loved every minute of it!

Thanks for the review. I was there and I enjoyed it so completely. Satch totally handled business. I honestly think Eddie would have been elated to have one of the greatest to emulate and nail the groove of the great E.V.! Loverboy was perfect as an opener. I seriously have so much respect for those boys and Mike Reno! WOW! He sounded amazing with such an amazing band, those guys are true icons. I saw Loverboy back in '98' at Konocti Harbor Resort in Clear Lake and it blew my mind, and I saw Sammy at Konocti as well, in I think, '02', amazing as well, so seeing them together was an intimate blessing for me. <3

Hopefully no emergency happens , Wonder how the fire powers to be can allow so many people in when you can not get out quick .

I just saw them. I’m pretty convinced they were using backing tracks. Some of what they were doing did not sound like live music. Maybe I’m wrong, but I wasn’t overly impressed.

Hall is basically paying the bills which is why he's still performing. He went through all his millions decades ago.

I liked the show. But just disappointed that Ciara and Missy didn't sing a single line from what i could tell. Would be nice if they took a break from dancing to sing something.

Also her dancers definitely need to actually dance and not clown around. They kind of half ass it. For Mariah’s level, the back up dancers could definitely be better. If she gets amazing back up dancers that actually feel the music and groove to the music and perform with depth and perfection, then her whole show would be so much better.

The sound got so terrible when I saw her a couple days ago. Her vocals were phenomenal, but their sound guy messed up and the second half was shit distortion of heavier drums or bass or whatever it was that drowned everything wide out. So sad that nobody watched the quality of the most important thing - the sound!!

Another useless review; I am in my 60's, a failed musician, and have been to a buttload of concerts including the original Van Halen lineup. I have seen "The Circle" a couple of times, Joe Satriani at least four times, and Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin's experience twice. From a musical critical standpoint; the music was tuned down from the original recording keys. Sammy struggled to hit notes in a lot of places. A lot of his parts were diverted to Michael Anthony and the keyboard player...even in Sammy's solo stuff. Michael Anthony's bass playing is as strong as it's ever been, he can't sing like he used to but he was still fairly strong vocally. Comparing one player to another is a fool's game. Eddie revolutionized hard rock guitar playing more than anyone in history including Jimi Hendrix. Joe Satriani can't fill Eddie's shoes any more than Eddie could fill Satriani's shoes BUT Eddie isn't available. There are many that can/will copy Eddie better than Satriani but that's not what this is. I paid about $50 a ticket and as an old fuck fan of classic rock I will say this is an amazing show overall. There is not a better live show available for fans of classic hard rock.

"He's probably as close as we'll ever get to Eddie". Ok, this is just pure bullshit. Satch plays nothing like Eddie. His feel is almost the polar opposite. There are tons of guitar players who can cope Eddie's vibe a hundreds better. Satch is a legend and I'm glad people are having fun at these Sammy Hagar concerts. But it has nothing to do with Van Halen. Get real.
