Great video but there was a great moment you didn't mention:
If you don't do the drop-attack on the asylum demon, it jumps up and smacks you down. This is great for what it does to the player's expectations of the game. It says 'Be prepared, this game will surprise you and kick your ass at points'
Not every player encounters this, but it is an excellent experience in the tutorial.

skipped through at the beginning heared the words ''it explains what the world is, where it came from and what's been happening RECENTLY', yeah right, recently.

To be fair, not much has happened recently, and the important stuff that has is explained well: the appearance of the darksign, the sheparding of undead to the asylum, and the fire beginning to fade. The rest is for the player to discover as they play.
