Hi Kayla, I have been watching and rewatching your videos for about 6 months. I am the dad of a newly transitioning daughter. Your honesty and caring are so helpful to me. You are a special person ❤
Thanks so much for your wonderful and heartfelt video. I consider it an honor to get watch it. You are such a genuine inspiration to me and I know to so many others. 👏🙏👍
Kayla, every time I watch one of your videos I am always struck by the depth of your beauty. Not only your physical beauty but the light that shines through with your joy for life, your total honesty, your vulnerability, and your truth. Thank you for sharing your authentic self with us!
I genuinely got a little choked up with this video. I love seeing your memories from your childhood. And then to see you and your dad sitting there. That's some pretty powerful stuff.
What a powerful message expertly constructed and delivered by a very beautiful woman. No wonder your mother is so proud. Thank goodness you survived those visits to the bridge. The world is a better place for your presence.
Great video Kayla. I really enjoyed it. So nice to see where you grew up and to hear some of the stories associated with these special places. Such a peaceful and serene part of the country. Like how you worked in some of the clips, like the one shooting targets with your dad. Would love to see more travel videos like this one, maybe on your next trip you’ll do some filming. Well done! 👍
Great video Kayla. Loved how you opened up and shared how and where you grew up. It’s a beautiful place. Glad you had a great time with your family. You’re a beautiful woman. 💞💞💞
Kayla, Thank you so.......very much for sharing your story. Your journey is an inspiration to so many! Leading an authentic life fosters happiness and the joy that results. Love, Victoria Rush
As someone who also grew up in the rural South (albeit in the 70s/80s), I enjoyed your video very much. Lots of resonance for me, especially the bottle rocket wars 😁. Take care, and keep on posting!
I left the US for Europe. You have a wonderful attitude. Watching you is helping me. Makes me tear up but is great to experience your strength. Reminds me to close the wounds and treasure the experiences so one can own the good stuff.
Good on you Kayla and greetings from Australia, glad to see that your transition has made you happy inside and out. Your an inspiration to other people and I wish you the best for your future.
Loved the video. I'm back in the area where I grew up in Western NY and I too grew up in a small country town. After 25 yrs, my father finally accepted me as his daughter, that meant so much to me ❤
Your report turned out really very nice, it would be nice if you did something more like that, maybe about a trip to Germany if you make it. Because then I would be happy to meet you for real.
I have family in clifty, Arkansas. I remember having to haul water and pump it into the well house. My dad is also buried up there too. Watching this makes me want to call home and talk to my sister ( Leann Blackston )
Growing up, I had relatives that lived in rural areas. I loved that. So much has been “developed” it’s hard to find nature these days. Thank you for sharing your trip with us. 👍😎
Kayla. You're a girl I so connect with and understand. I'm male. I cross dress since like 12. But ...heart and connections. I've been with men and women. I love to explore my female side. I'm glad you got to spend time with your dad. I'm 38. Have huge faith with God. I'm so happy for you. I've watched your channel off and on. And I am happy I checked back in on you. Stay beautiful. With heart and body girl lol. You look amazing. Love ya.
Being from Louisiana and still living here unfortunately, the part where you said "we are not alone" hit me hard...because it feels like we are with all the hateful rhetoric being spoken by people daily...I hate it here, but it is beautiful 😢
Never been to the NW corner of Arkansas. I have to agree with you when the sun goes down it gets dark. I learned very quickly to pay attention to the color of the roads on the state highway map. They have gravel and dirt roads printed on the state map. A short cut turns into a very long drive when you can't goes over 25 MPH because the car won't stay on the road. The one good thing you could pick up a lot of 50,000 watt stations from all over the US at night. You can almost see the 160 acre plots the way the roads are laid out. So did you have a lower 40 where you lived?
Cool to see your memories from your childhood, thank you! Used to drive thru Garfield all the time visiting relatives, as I grew up in Eureka Springs. \,,/'9'\,,/
Such beautiful soul and ur baby sis is with u in heart I went on a trip back my childhood home town. it was hard lot memories but lot hard ones am trans woman to am women but I went through lot growing up I love ur videos ur amazing person best wishes sis xo.
You sure are pretty.....and your personality seems real sweet and genuine. I wish you lived in NC, I'd ask you out to supper and a movie. Anyway, glad I ran across your channel.....take care. 🙂 Chuck
Kayla, you brought back some memories. Ask your dad or mom about Central Arkansas General Hospital (formally known as Porter/Rodgers) in Searcy, AR. I saw a wheelchair tagged w/Porter/Rodgers on the back and the sales guy who was with me said "Don't ever speak that name aloud here".
Hello Kayla, I remember when you was still in Arkansas before moving to Dallas, Texas. There should be photos of you on some of the old computers I have where you was living here in Arkansas and with your ex-wife. I didn't know about your family and where you grew up until now and I understand how you feel about coming home. I ended up moving back to Arkansas after living in Southern California (San Bernardino) for over five years. I moved back due to health problems and I felt better after returning home and settling down and working for the state. I wish you all the best there and hope the area is safer now.
Thank you for sharing your trip home Kayla, I really enjoyed the video. How does the saying go, "You can take the girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl." 😘
OK! Very awesome video. I get the idea you filmed this over a few days. Either that or you changed tops for every scene. Some great choices of advertising on a lot of those t-shirts! But my question is, what is it like to be back there after so long and presenting as a completely different person than the one everyone knew when you were young?
The governments are not the ones leading the direction of the country, the people do. Stay strong. I love your outfits and enjoyed your personal story. Thank you.
What a nifty story. You shared a part of your experience that many don't see, certainly not in the media, which does a poor job of giving a "full experience" perspective of trans girls. Love the way you've embraced your family and past. Bravo and well done. And you look so cute doing it too.....
Hi Kayla, what a great video. I wish i was your friend back then, hanging out at the lake or the bridge or shooting bb guns with your dad. I love you and hope you and your family are doing well. 😘
kayla, wonderful video important message! hope the real estate work going well. since i came across you on Instagram, I've been enamored with you. I'm glad you're using your voice to condemn the blatant bigotry towards trans people. on a unrelated note, i just think you are so flipping hot. beautiful.
Great vid Kayla! I admire your story and your advocacy for transgender youth. From a man's perspective, I also admire a beautiful woman. I also got a big kick out of your "salute" at 4:12 to the medieval transphobic laws in Arkansas and other states.
I am from arkansas, but have traveled a good bit in the US. I still love arkansas however I would think it was hard for her in the backwards rual arkansas. She is my favorite trans influencer. I love how she discusses her challenges yet without claiming victim. What a woman.
Texas Trans Girly! You're a positive inspiration for me and my journey and seeing you live your best life gives me some peace in knowing a lot is achievable.
Thank God you didn’t jump! The world would be a lot of grey if you weren’t here! It gets better before it gets worse! Just keep that in mind! You’re a beautiful woman and I know at one time you weren’t! But you were young and not sure believe me you made the right choice to live! It’s really hard to say Goodbye to the ones you love! I lost my older sister and she meant the world to me! RIP Nancy Gorgol!
Hi Kayla, I have been watching and rewatching your videos for about 6 months. I am the dad of a newly transitioning daughter. Your honesty and caring are so helpful to me. You are a special person ❤

Great video. So peaceful. I grew up in the country too
I genuinely got a little choked up with this video. I love seeing your memories from your childhood. And then to see you and your dad sitting there. That's some pretty powerful stuff.

Thanks, Kayla. I grew up in Searcy, AR. I love your story and you tell it so well. I support you.
What a powerful message expertly constructed and delivered by a very beautiful woman. No wonder your mother is so proud. Thank goodness you survived those visits to the bridge. The world is a better place for your presence.

That railroad bridge is a trestle bridge. There's actually a name to it. That being said, nice touch of seeing where you grew up at.
Thank you for sharing your trip home Kayla, I really enjoyed the video. How does the saying go, "You can take the girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl." 😘
