If you started buying your meats from sams and separating and vacuum sealing it , it may save you money! I buy meat like once a month and it helps out grocery bill!

What helps us save money on groceries: monthly meal plan (new recipes, easy recipes, and favorite recipes) and shop the store ads. Mindy (see Mindy mom) shares a lot of budget recipes.

Believe it or not, I’ve never had Mississippi pot roast before! I’ve had pot roast, but never made that way. Maybe because I’m in Canada 🤷🏻♀️ I think we will have to give it a try though, I was sold after seeing our favourite pepperoncini peppers in it!
Hey Friend, Happy Wednesday. I had a doctor appointment for the first time in 2 years yesterday. I just got a check up and some bloodwork done. 😊 I think we are all working on cutting down our expenses and trying to budget better. 😅 leaving stuff at the self checkout is possible because I bought cookies and I almost left them there but luckily I saw it at the last second. 😅 one thing I enjoy coming back to in your videos is you restocking your food supply and meal planning.😊🥰
Hi Hailey! I have missed watching you and your family! Life has been so busy and stressful lately! I loved the dinner meal. I have actually never made Mississippi pot roast with the peppers, so I am going to try it!
My toddlers keep dumping out our snacks, like they'll dump out an entire box of Cheez its, which is like five dollars! So I stopped buying snacks the past month or so. We realized when the kids snacked, they wouldnt be hungry at mealtimes. It's been saving so much money and now they're eating better! I get snacks occasionally and keep them high up on the pantry shelf for special occasions like the beach.
You had a great helper with the groceries!! Your kiddos are such cuties!!
The roast looked amazing!! Our lil market that I usually just get ground beef at has cubics roast on sale for $4.98 I think. I’m going over tomorrow and get a few for the freezer! Thanks for sharing!

My family loves Mississippi Pot Roast, but I did the same recipe & used Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast & they love it even more!

It is!!
Try making your Mississippi pot roast with a rump roast instead of a chuck roast. Rump roast is a bit cheaper. The rump roast has less fat. If you peel off the fat on one side of the rump roast the rest is all meat. Try it sometime if you like pure meat and no fat you'll enjoy the rump roast better than the chuck. Enjoy!

My recipe for Mississippi pot roast calls for French onion soup mix instead of au jou or beef gravy mix.

I have started shopping at Aldi after hearing from you and several friends about it. It has helped. I only have to shop for a family of 4, and it gets pricey. I can imagine how expensive it is for larger families.
Way to go Cal!! No more diapers! That gives you a pay raise right there. Did you find that Cal was easier to potty train than the girls? I am just curious. I have heard from other people that girls are easier than boys. However, I didn't find that true with my 2 girls.
He was easy once we decided to fully start. He caught on quickly!
Without digging too much into personal stuff, I’d love to know a round-about number of your income from UA-cam. I’m thinking about staying home as we add more to our family and feel like you have the perfect balance of being home with your babies & still letting them enjoy shopping, vacations etc. but I’m wondering if your work on UA-cam makes that possible or is just a few extra bucks here and there? ❤ your channel
I find Aldi higher on a lot of things compared to Walmart.
I’ve compared some things and some are, but overall I spend less and get more at Aldi

I literally did My bedding Sunday and guess who didn’t put the duvet cover back on 🫣😂 one way we save money on groceries is use less meat products and make more beans or use a rotisserie chicken for a couple meals. I am fully plant based I make meals we can all eat and I just leave out the meat option. Man I don’t miss the long days at the field in the heat. But definitely soak up every minute of it. I hope you guys have a much better summer than last year. ♥️
