Not surprising that Mr. M has offered an adjustment to the "one failure ends turn" rule - that was always a sticky one.
We played with if you got no activation next turn you get to re-rolls on activationn. If you only got to activate 1-2 one re-roll. Did help when one side was getting very small too...
Thank you for making this video. I am very tempted to pick this up. Just need to convince some friends to play!
I do wish he provided a list of figure manufacturers!
Thanks for the rundown and the video!
Its nice to see this one getting so much love for version two, the new layout looks great and the hardcover seems solid!
Well, I'm sold :D
Looks a good improvement on the 1st edition.
Super cool!
Preordered on Amazon. (only for the free shipping I swear!) Can't wait for it to get here.
8:52 “Heartthrobs” is one word.
Will we be seeing another Lion Rampant event/campaign taking place in Notts/Lenton perchance?
Now I can use my old Viking models.
Never played, Just ordered a copy!
A shame Mr. Babbage didn't get a section.
A little annoying to see so much dead space on each page- between extremely thick borders, very wide margins, huge gaps between paragraphs, and double spacing between lines, feels like this could have just been a booklet with 1/2 the pages if they tightened everything up. Also infinitely frustrating that there doesn't seem to be an index at all- I don't understand why Osprey continuously chooses to forego one of the most useful features of a book that's literally meant for reference.
Couldn't charge £20 if it was tightened up though. The minor rules changes, lists and scenarios could have been done on a website or as a free pdf.
@@dickturpin1964 Looks like superb value for money to me!
@@MisterWebb it is good value for the page length, compared to some others. But as @AWOL trooper says; there is too much white space and (for me) too much fluff.
Why lion rampant and not crawling lion ?something to do with heraldry I guess...
Lion Rampant is like the Scottish lion on its hind legs, Lion Passant is like English lion on all fours but often with one paw up.
@@andybrace9225 cheers. I was surprised because it sounds like french words .
@@andybrace9225 And don't forget the Leopard.
Ca l'est, c'est normal.@@erics745
Still cringing everytime you flip a page from the center instead of the corner. You may NEVER touch my books 😝
