@@aliciaoliveiradematos5036 no they didn’t. Janette suffered on the set of icarly and that’s why she didn’t come back. She never mentioned anything about falling out with Miranda or Nathan, some fans just jumped on the bandwagon that they’re not friends since she didn’t come to the reboot. It’s the same with victoria justice and Ariana grande, fans jumping on a the bandwagon that they hated each other when they didn’t.

@@gadisameaso5072 Jennette has been pretty open as to why on her podcast and recent interviews. she's actually taking a break from acting and not sure if she's wanting to return to it ( in front of the camera, anyway ) a few reasons are that she has bad memories tied to working with Nickelodeon and even used the word "incredibly emotionally abusive producer" to describe Dan Schneider. there is more but Jennette explains it better. ( though she was and is still pretty close friends with the rest of the cast, especially Miranda- Carly- and Nathan- Freddy )

@@MarriedToTheBestHusband we say “of course” but these people out here take *everything* personally. There’s nothing you can say/do that wont be a problem. I could be like puppies are cute and someone will run with that and turn it into “I hate cats” it’s ridiculous. But ik they stayed friends after the OG show; I’m just glad she’s not like harboring any resentment or anger toward her friends going back to something that messed her up the way it did. People do that 🤷🏽♀️

She's in a great place and retired acting ages ago. I agree with what you're saying but they're full grown mature adults because they're besties.
I hate that people are hating on the new actors joining the show and thinking there is something wrong between Miranda and Jennette. They're still friends. Jennette literally quit acting for traumatic reasons and to join the iCarly reboot probably brings back traumatic experiences for her. People need to be more sympathetic and they need to not take out their anger on the new actresses/actors joining the show.

Exactly, I hate how people think just because she didn’t want to join the reboot that there’s some problem between her and Miranda.
I understand why she wants to not join. Makes sense to me and is respectable. As for some of the new characters I just don’t like them (not all) for no reason other than not liking them. Can’t put my finger on why and I by no means hate them, but sometime it happens with shows some people don’t like a character. Unfortunately some of these new characters just don’t click with me, but I’m sure they do with many other people. I wish them all the best though I’m sure the actors/actresses could be very nice people irl. I think that disliking a character isn’t inherently wrong. Hating an actor/actress on the other hand for the character that some one wrote for them i believe is unfair.

No one ever thought these two fell out. It’s well known that they’re very close.
If you guys haven't read "I'm Glad My Mom Died", I highly recommend it. The way Jennette talks about Miranda is so so sweet, and it's a testament of how good of a friend she must be. I'm so glad that their friendship was genuine and I'm so happy that Jennette at least had Miranda by her side amidst everything she was going through
This is honestly why Jennette’s my idol. Even with her traumatic experience on set, she still is super sweet and supportive of her friends on the show. really glad that she’s not being quote on quote “forced” to do acting if she doesn’t want to. Also, I’m so happy that Jennette found her interest and finally gets what she wants to do with nothing bothering her.

@@llinetheberami4261 I’m pretty sure that her interest is directing, more so podcasting. She has a podcast called ‘empty inside’ and she basically talks about her mental health, child acting, and more. She’s also not joining the iCarly reboot for obvious reasons. Hope this clears things up!!

I would’ve loved to see her in the reboot. But I’m glad she’s taking this new path and it’s bringing her peace and happiness. Super dope that she’s still major supportive of her friends as well.

They’ve always been friends. Like actually you can see that they hang out pretty often
I saw them at Disney World when I was 18. I didn’t ask for a picture because I felt really shy about it lol. I saw people who took pictures with them later on Twitter. I was so regretting it. They were like a lot smaller in person

Yes! Disney+ cancelling Lizzie McGuire was single-handedly the dumbest thing they've done yet... and they've done a lot of stupid (cough, cough 'Love, Victor' cough)! Back in 2019, they green lit Lizzie McGuire as a more adult Lizzie navigating her way through adulthood... and it was apparently going to explore subjects like cheating, se* (sorry, UA-cam will probably delete my comment if I use the real word), and how millennials fit into modern society... and even Disney green lit it as a show for adult they cancel it for being too adult? What? lol Also, it was going to only be TV-14! Like, Disney+ has Mandalorian, WandaVision, F&WS and The Right Stuff but a show about a single woman living in New York is too much for them?!
And I'm very excited for iCarly but I hope the Lizzie McGuire comparisons aren't going to overshadow iCarly!

The only reason jennet ever did icarley was to build up money to help her mom who was sick for many years she immediately stopped acting after her mom died and hasn’t returned since
That isn't true at all. Her mom was the one who forced her into acting and between that and Dan Schnieder, she grew bitter about acting.

It's insane that Cosgrove is nearly 30 now. I was born in '05 and I was like 6 when i saw my first episode of this show. I'm nearly 16 and i feel old knowing that Miranda Cosgrove is nearing 30.

Honestly there’s no hate between Miranda and Jeanette. They both are really close friends and have been very close ever since I Carly started. I know there’s fans out there who are mad at the fact that there are new characters on the show and that the old characters may not come back, but you should still respect the fact that the show is continuing on and that the actors are willing to even continue doing the show. Yes it is hard not Seeing Sam Pucket anymore but you never know if she will come back and maybe do an episode!

Same can be said about Alexa Nikolas not coming back to the Zoey 101 Reboot because of Dan Schneider.
I saw outtakes from victorious and the actors always looked so uncomfortable and worried when they fumbled a line. Something aint right about him.

There has never been any bad blood between Jennette and Miranda. Jennette was essentially forced into acting at a young age because her family needed a breadwinner; Jennette doesn't want to do the reboot because there is no fulfillment in it for her.
”Tell me that you haven’t done your research without actually telling me that you haven’t done your research” Jeanette will NOT be on the icarly reboot because she was harassed and had a terrible, terrible experience with Nickelodeon. She has even stated that she is embarrassed that she took that role but she didn’t have a choice since her mom forced her into acting. She has also had an ED and Dan completely didn’t care and based her character of a food lover. UGH. It’s not hard doing research.
Nickelodeon co-stars get a long better than Disney co-stars🤡🤡🤡
