around E1 36 when completed) but fidget spinner support saved the day + low cost op to bait the stun

I find the CM easier than the normal mode but probably because I abuse the support system. Thanks for the really really helpful guides man. The snipers on this and the normal mode is really rage inducing though.

Use metoroite, lappland and SA, but if you have s2 ifrit it will be more easy

You need a long range guard with a high damage(you need 2) and 1 support that can slow enemy(expect archid) and the meteorite need to E2 lv 40-50 skill rank 7

When is the exact time to put Exusiai? In the video is a bit lagged so I can't do it, that's that only part I always fail for the timing.
Quick question : Will the enemy units will also be more strengthened? My normal stage didn't use Medic on the first part and yet I suddenly have my Vanguard died in challenge mode. Did they also change the enemy's strength?
is there any other substitute for Executor and Exusia?
firstly, i don't have exusia
secondly, executor cost a bit too much that he came out a bit late which makes courier half dead and it affect the other side placement timing

ange was perfect in this map in gitano place, her 3rd skill hit all 3 lanes and she is secretly a medic with that global healing,
I can feel the flex
If you have any ranged guard, lapland and saria and one aoe guard you can just use one medic + lapland and one guard for top left, and place all operator directly in front of right spawn point. If you can hold enemy in their spawn point funny things happen basically they will bottlemeck enemy spawn and because sniper guy got attacked by aoe guard they will never stun. Well you need a lot of guard though.
This strategy only seems to work if your Exusiai is absolutely beast. *correction edit here* E1L60 Siege and Texas in the same spot as Courier get absolutely shredded by the first 2 dogs with an E2 Blue Poison in Exusiai's spot. Without some very careful use of Texas' stun and Gravel to intercept at least one of the dogs if you don't have an E2 Exusiai, I have not found a way to make this strat work. This happens again later on when he drops Gummy. E1L60 Saria gets owned here with the same E2 BP I mentioned. So again, this seems to be VERY dependent on that E2L40 Exusiai murderizing things. Sadly, I just don't have a comparable DPS. AOE Sniper like Meteorite isn't viable here because she takes too long to bring out, which brings you back to your vanguard getting shredded by dogs right at the start. Even with his skill, I can't imagine Courier surviving that first wave without Exusiai there.
Maybe I'm wrong. Probably. Any feedback on my comments would be appreciated.

Honestly got so few up trying to pull off this strat I just grabbed a bunch of random ops and winged it. And it...actually worked?
This event was the first event I've had in Arknights since I was pretty new to the game when it came out, and now I'm coming back remembering how impossible this was for me back then. Now I'm just cheesing it with my Nian.
If you have Myrtle, deploying her on the 'ranged' tile near Beagle and using her second skill can help make sure she survives until you can deploy a medic.
Sorry, but you're going to have to clarify what you mean by "ranged" tile. Give specific coordinates, such as "one block up, then three blocks right from X position."

before KyoStinV I was literally juggling my friend list for SA with highest Mastery and it I still failed. now all that I need is just a random support and I choose Executor. with a couple drill plan to adjust the pace, I can beat this stage in just one try. Thank you KyoStinV, you saved up my actual sanity before it drains

Exu S2 may work if timed correctly.
That timing being slightly later for the first X-man, around the time the first agent reaches Gummy, and ASAP for the second with lv7.
I'd suggest Exu skill 2 as you can time it when needed. Also if you put the left vanguard further left it gives more time for the sniper to kill, this may help is the vanguard barely dies.
Astesia with skill 2 can act as the tank in the middle, but needs a healer and not Lancet. Better if it's perfumer as it'll be the only medic.

How can I put Executor when I don't have so much Deployment point?
E2 perfumer with angelina makes this pretty easy
Yoo thanks again! I had to adjust my ops selection and placement but the core strategy is basically the same.
I used ifrit instead of exu so I had to put melantha near courier in his upper right then retreat her right after to salvage points.
Upon replacing courier with my nearl, i found it better that i placed the defender one square left of couriers original position so that the whole lane will be utilized well by ifrit.
Another thing i realized is that when placing beagle for the second time, i found it better to place beagle first then the medic then the guard since i cannot risk the defender being stunned and she can survive long enough for me to put back melantha even if my medic is stunned.
Can you share ur gameplay please? I still cannot beat this level. I have 2 brain cells so thats why
@@professionalduckquack il try to find a way on how to record my game and figure out how i did it again. I kinda forgot all of it because of the stress i got from the damn EX5 CM.
By the way, i need to also mention that I used Blue Poison instead of Kroos, Hoshiguma instead of Cuora, Grani instead of Vigna, Silence instead of Myrrh and the ops i already mentioned: Nearl and Ifrit, so you may also have to adjust your strategy too. If you have stronger ops then you wont have to adjust much.

100% have an E2 Exusia T_T. Thank god I got lucky and rolled one during this event. Not nearly that level or potential but she still kicks ass
Barely pulled it off deploying myrtle to get DP and quickly positioning silence where lancet should've been, the drones saved me having to invest on a healer defender
I spent over 90 plans, wasted 25+ sanity, AND IT WAS THIS EASY? i finally beated it with your strat thanks! Ill go cry now
you should be explaining using 1 type of Sniper, not multiple types, and some that you bring up are hard to get.

After slowly losing my sanity, i decided to skip this cm along with ex6 and focus on farming. Cc draw near day by day and my team still shit
I dont have good fast redeployment unit, so I put texas near the middle line. She used for bait, backup hitter for Beagle (but I use Saria in my case), and also stopping the mob for a while.
I replace Gitano with Lava, since she's cost lower.
I also put Myrtle between Courier and Cuora to heal them both, before deploying Ansel.
I forgot if I also got Lancet :D
Since I kinda left Cuora in low level, I had to use Chen to replace her role in the center lane. I Use her skill to kill the sniper from far, because Texas always get stunned.
At the mid game, everything are screw up so bad, panic time :D
I deploy Magallan (Skill 1 setup) to slow them down because this effect will always on even if Magallan is not using her skill.
if you release challenge mode for 2 last stages with low stars you're gonna be my hero, I'm stupid and these are only ones I cant beat

What is the minimum requirement for exu's level
I was doing my best to do this without a guide. I did it but I wanted to see what would have made the past 9 hours easier
I use Specter (@E2/20) for the left side, Ifrit deployed behind her a while later - she did dip to like 5% without any medic on her lol
lol i didnt quite understand the team build so i didnt bring a guard or lancet but with hoshi being in the middle she just barely survived to end of the map and for the left side i just spammed operators and beat it first try. I think mentioning them at the start would have been better :)

I had trouble about my first vanguard die too early despite maxed E1, or theres leaks on the left side, idk what to do now other than trying to farm LMD for operator upgrades. ;_;
If you're using courier you need his 2nd skill. He needs that defense boost.
Got that changed and struggle with the final parts, i was lucky enough to clear it just now, thanks for the courier info btw.

Never quite got the timing on Exusiai's skill procs right and had to tank every axeman. Blessed are better operators.
my cuora is the same level as his but her defence is only 590. how did he get her to 605? and also my exu didnt match his timing
Regarding Cuora, you're most likely missing the bonus from potential (DEF+27) or trust (DEF+75 at 200% Trust).

Dont drop ifrit immediately, she costs a lot you should drop her right before you change the vanguard to medic defender

follow the of-ex4 normal mode guide and replace AOE guard with meteorite later (or use dp kill VG like vigna for cost efficient)

For Some Reason, When I swapped Courier for Siege (E1 Lv 55) with a Exu, she can't survive for some reason. Anyone can help?
i also have siege around the same level. from what i tested, she might be a bit too expensive to deploy on left side which delays deployment of your sniper enough for the enemy to take her out. which is why i think courier or zima are good replacements for the left side due to cheaper dp cost and still can take a beating

I tried with same vanguards, and swapped gummy for saria and executor.
And i have time to deploy him
@@KyoStinV I tried with Courier first then Executor, as as soon as I could deploy Executor someone had gotten through Courier and it was over
@@bernardosales1044 you can use the strategy i did with normal stage, the beginning is courier vigna and gravel, after that wave you have a lot of time to deploy executor

I just tweaked it a bit..
I used Lapland in place of Vigna.. and kept her there for the whole battle...
I placed another single target sniper next to Kroos to bait the hits from casters...
Of course I used Eyjafjalla in place of Gitano.. that fountain was AoE enough.. lol
I cant imagine a pain of ex5 cm..
The condition for cm ex5 is a slower dp rate, so i imagine its not as insane as ex4 as long as you bring extra vanguard
I know it's late, but what you can do here is bring Ceylon or another Therapist along instead of Myrrh. After you reach the needed DP (58 in my case), replace Lancet with her. That way, Ceylon can also heal the other units around her, like in this case Beagle, Courier, Melantha, and Cuora. What I also did was I put Kroos one block to the left so she can also enjoy the healing.
Note: I mention Therapist because that is the Medic subclass that has a wider range as compared to Core Medics like Ansel or Myrrh.
For those using Executor i suggest following Kyostin's OF-EX4 normal mode walkthrough and switching AoE guard with Executor afterwards (along with deploying Myrtle first instead of tank on the right side). I managed to pass with a very underleveled Lava and borrowed friend's Hoshiguma (don't follow me kids, get a good AoE caster!)
I ended up spawn camping them top right with ifrit :|
