Basically, enemies can *only* go to the blue box that's their target, rather than 'any blue box'.

A true legend, with my friend Ifrit. Watched OF-EX-6 from Tectone and KyoStinV still.
Got me entirely lost. Thank you, saviour, I finally cleared the EX stage.
Two hours, a lot of mistakes, misplaced roadblocks, desk-hitting, failed runs, and cycling through my friends' superior support units later, I was finally able to clear this accursed map. Thank you.
For those who might be curious (and like to use higher-rarity Operators), if you can keep up with healing, Siege can replace Fang, *and even Cuora*, living throughout the entire fight, while also providing incredible damage herself, a much-needed attribute in this map's harsh DPS check. My winning attempt was thanks to a friend's Support Siege.
As for other ways I deviated from the strat shown in this video, that's for later. I am tired now and want to spend the rest of this event's last hour farming tickets and tokens.
Castle-3 may be "low-star" but is impossible to actually get. :-) This was really helpful. Thanks!

My Blaze version is another possible clear method. You might also enjoy it.

Omg thank you this helped me so much. I don’t have castle, so I replaced Popkar with Lappland, and catapult with Shirayuki and where you place castle I instead placed thrm-ex down where the enemies were entering..and I somehow cleared it lmao.

I've used silence for both healers lol, I don't have castle, so I needed the extra slot that I used with Lappland.
It went well, the last enemy killed Melantha, but Siege (replacing fang) was usable by then if needed
The hardest part was remembering to replace the blocks on the bottom, I've lost a couple times to this...(O.C. I wouldn't accept anything less than 3 hexagons)
also I've upgraded a few more heroes, usually I lack on the cost when I do this, but it went smooth with a C+++ and block before cross.
I love this vids with the bare minimum even thou I upgrade some operators when I can, please keep doing it, you and that other dude with Asian accent are the real MVP

Whenever I get robot tags, there's always a better tag with it and losing my chance to get castle :(
3:10 is terrifying and amazing at the same time. Definitely a unique method to clearing this level!
This was a tough map... Pretty challenging.
The block was the real MVP.
Just how much outside the box you need to think to let enemies go into the box?
An excellent placement and series. I didn't exactly have my Cuora levelled, so I tried Hoshiguma...then I replaced Kroos with Exusiai...then Catapault with Meteorite...it kinda went on from there. So I had to do the ultimate sacrifice in order to afford all those units....I replaced Castle with Myrtle, and brought in Blaze for the Defender spot.. ...honestly that combined with my Ifrit using S3 instead of S2 kinda pulled everything together. ...not fully certain why that was.
I ended up fighting two areas where I fought at the left middle & upper right parts of the map along with some block usage shenanigans. I had a bunch of self healing tanky characters at left middle, and had Ifrit group on the upper right. Considering that I used 5 Six stars (E1S2 Ifrit, E2S2 Silverash, E2S2 Angelina, E1S2 Saria, E1S2 Siege) for my completion, I wonder if Eck's method would have been easier.

Nope, just needed her extra block and high defense.

thanks, but i dont have castle, i replace melantha with hoshiguma in last deploy operator, so the snipers (i hate that annoying stun) hit hoshiguma and give them damage back (with skill 2) , it works for me XD

So close! One slipped trough. For some reasons the snipers never target Castle, but go for my Ch'en (replacing Melantha here).
Snipers will target the last deployed operator.
@@Eckogen I think my problem was that I was using Silence instead of Ansel and Castle died before I even noticed, even tough Meteorite (Replacing Catapult) was fine since she had more Defense. I'd need to keep an eye on Castle and use my drone more times. As soon as I find an Ifrit support that is.
@@hyoeden Yup, just gotta use that drone when those two get low and you're good for that part!

Use support Ifrit. The EX stages aren't farmable anyway.

Not having Castle is big demerit. I've only gotten the Robot Tag twice and managed to only get Lancet in both of them. I wanted Castle.
Melantha will be the one being stunned often. Provided your other operators make up for the loss dps, it will be okay.
@@Eckogen I've come to the conclusion that my operators can't yet do that. I've tried maybe 40 times now using different combinations and levelling up my operators but so long as the guard gets stunned there's always going to be a leader that'd pass through my defenses with nothing but 1hp left. This is tough. But we still have 4 days left in the event, I'll keep trying.
3:10 WTH kind of cheese is that? I would not have been calm seeing those mobs about to flank the center blue box from the south. I wouldn't have realized that them reaching it doesn't count towards failing, as apparently they weren't satisfied by infiltrating that blue box, and they were tunnel focused to the blue box to the left side.
Those particular enemies are scripted to enter the other blue box, that's why it doesn't count.

Hi, again.
Fuuuuuuck, I've been trying this for ages and it just keeps not working. I'm worried I might just be fucked because of my choice in units, I don't have Cuora upgraded, I tried using Liskarm or Saria, but a ghost always gets past, or they just kill somebody and it all falls apart.
You can replace Catapult with Shirayuki. Cuora doesn't need to be E2. Just E1 so, you get her S2.
Haha, this obviously isn't your fault but I keep winding up needing the services of units I haven't spent the money I'd need to to have them useful in, too many girls lol.
What do I do if I don't have Castle :O ("Robot" has only ever come up once for me in the headhunting :( )
Melantha will take the hits from the snipers. Your DPS will need to make up for it.

How much ifirt level need?
It's not working, it just falls apart around the 2 minute mark. I have everyone leveled including their skills.
Most of my team is over 100 trust except for Ifrit who was around 75.

Either let Melantha take the hits and make sure your DPS makes up for her lack of DPS, or try with Hoshi (someone did it with Hoshi). Shirayuki in place of Catapult may offset it. I will be re-trying this without Ifrit.
Huh, my AoE snipers in Catapult's spot keep dying, all max E1. Wait, how is Catapult being healed? Is it something Ansel can do? e: Ah his skill +2 range.
Ansel skill is +1 range boost when active. If you dont have Ansel, Perfumer's global regeneration is probably enough to keep your sniper alive - I didnt test this though. Ceylon should most likely work too; though for both options youll need more DPS to offset the lower healing on your tanks.
@@Sniggwaffles So far my problem after putting in Ansel is that without Castle I can't keep my Defender from being stunned.
Alright nailed it with Meteorite instead of Catapult. Perfumer instead of Ansel.
And what do we do without Castle?
Let Melantha take the sniper shots.
Any substitute for Ifrit please?
There is no substitute for Ifrit, she's the only one that can do what she does
