For the driving clips, try shorter (no more than 15 seconds) clips of interesting things. Passing an RV, an interesting sign (for this video a Grand ?? Exit sign would be cool). And do them normal speed or even slow motion. The other channel sounds like a good idea. My wife is in a similar situation with the computer, he's has a lot of company software on it. But she's already asked about it. They'd either fly her to the main office or overnight one to her. If we were close to a major city with an office with a tech person they might be able to get one there.
Thank you for the tips on how long to show the footage for and what to focus on. Maybe if I had a different asset manager, they might take better care of me. But no, LOL, so I have to do a lot to take care of my laptop when the emergency arises.
Enjoyed. We've noticed that your family hasn't been talking on screen and it is just you. The traveling footage is fine in short segments. Great voice over during the travel footage.
The "Grand Army of the Republic" was a veteran organization composed of soldiers & sailors who had fought during the Civil War. It was dissolved when the last member died in 1956. At one point it had great political clout in the US. Glad you got your puter fixed. 👍
Yeah, but you are in Colorado, in a Canyon. I love the names of the towns, roads, rivers out there! As a owner of a "GRAND design" sounds like a GRAND trip! Stay thirsty my friend!
Glad you were able to get your computer fixed. Beautiful drive and e joes the music selection. We haven’t been to out that way yet but it’s on the bucket list
All's well that ends well. My recent van disaster was breaking my wrist last week in PA and being told I couldn't drive 600 miles back home. Adrian and Ruth @RealLifewithAdrianRuth came to my rescue.
@@rvfamilylife Hey David, I went up to Hershey for a rally of Pleasure-Way owners. That's the brand of the van I have, It was indeed the same same time as the Hershey show so yeah I went for about four hours. That's all I cared to go. I wasn't looking for anything but that's how I knew Adrian & Ruth were there. I enjoyed going to show, but it was more fun seeing 80 of the Pleasure-Way vans in the campground. I usually only see one or two every so often. You guys be safe out there. So long cheese bags.
@@rvfamilylife I go back to my local surgeon this Wed. He's going to replace this long plaster cast with a shorter fiberglass one. That should make things more comfortable. It only hurts when I accidentally put too much pressure on it. I try not to use the left hand at all. Doctors in Hershey said I might need surgery. My doctor doesn't think so, but could change his mind once he takes off the current cast, Everything takes more time, but thankfully I have time.
@@rvfamilylife you can't have a spare battery? Of course, its likely an internal one and possible that your employer doesn't want you opening the laptop, even if its a Latitude designed for easy modular replacement.
Nice drive David. I think it would nice to add driving to your videos, but I would say to start a new channel. Also, both my remote jobs required being “hard wired” (to which I was able to “technically” do that). Does your job allow you to be wireless?
I was thinking duh beck as pronunciation. I hate the thought of any of my computer stuff failing. Terrible accident. Ironic it happened there. I told Jessie one time as we passed through that area that I had wondered if anyone ever drove off that top section. Yikes. It’s a lovely drive. Haha where we stayed in Colorado in August there wasn’t even a dollar general. I know! Crazy, right? I say do what you want when it comes to another channel. Some people like driving segments. Some don’t. I, personally, can’t watch driving segments and vids cuz I get motion sickness 🫤🤷🏻♀️
@@HappyPlaceCamping I know, you can't watch those driving parts, I'm sorry. I'm thinking someone might enjoy them. Tania was just watching this video and I got mesmerized just watching the scenery go by. I'm thinking of something at normal speed with this LoFi music like channels that have 9 hour long videos.
I'm sorry. I really struggled with what to use as the thumbnail for this video, so I used AI to generate a damaged laptop in the mountains. In all honesty though, my laptop got really hot and the battery swelled up. And I am in the mountains. Have you seen the movie the Greatest Showman?
@@rvfamilylife ok, sorry maybe I was a little harsh. I didn't even comprehend a laptop being present on the right panel of suggested videos; my assumption was that an RV caught on fire. You also are quite vague in describing what happened, which added to the confusion about why fire was being depicted on the thumbnail.
the keyboard part sort of meshes into the mountain background, and I see a boxy thing on fire clearly superimposed over a mountain scene. As its an RV channel, my brain interpreted that as the back end of a class A on fire.

The girls aren't that into talking on camera. If Tania gets into her art then she doesn't have as much time to spend with me making the videos.
