Actress Debbie Reynolds stops by to talk about her debut solo show at Café Carlyle, "An Evening of Music and Comedy."
I love her voice.
No one can take away Debbie's energy and longevity.
Except 2016...

Great lady and great mother to her children
I LOVE her!!!!! RIP Debbie Reynolds.
Both 19 when they made a big splash holding their own in iconic movies, Singin' In The Rain and Star Wars.
Whenever I feel sad I love to watch Debbie Reynolds dance in the Unsinkable Molly Brown. Her talent and energy always lifts my spirits. Love you Debbie!!
Amazing person you always shall live in my heart
What an amazing lady Debbie was. So bubbly and with it. She and her wonderful Carrie will be sadly missed. x
What a complicated, complex relationship these two women had. Debbie never left her family's side and never let them forget it. I love their story and hope they are having a blast wherever they are!
She's brilliant, wonderful to see so a big thankyou for posting this.
She is the BEST - a great entertainer and such a spitfire.
My SWEET Mom looked like Debbie when they were both young....they were only 2 years apart...so my entire life I LOVED Debbie Reynolds...her passing hits hard....I will always LOVE this lady....BLESS YOU and Rest in PEACE....
Pure entertainer, to the Very end.
RIP Mary Francis.
That was just so cute! Thanks!
She was nominated for Best Actress for 'The Unsinkable Molly Brown',
she's got really young spirit! its so great that someone in her age can still not only talk with sens but be able ti be interesting and funny
They have the same voice!
There is something so sweet about this video. Debbie was always sweet but there's something about this particular clip that is just so lovely. The studio, the angle, the lightin ,Debbie, all of it. How sad she never found a good man. My god, if Debbie Reynolds couldn't get a man to love her what chance do the rest of us have?
I LOVED HER IN HALLOWEENTOWN!!! She was the best grandmother ever!
"She's like me--not like her father." You've got to laugh.
"Mary Frances get in here and wash the Dishes!" ROTFL.
I saw Carrie do her one woman show on Broadway on November 20th. I also took some photos of her at the stage door. She is very pretty in person.
Brilliant
Debbie Reynolds is "a laugh" in that she's very funny ... successful in her comedic endeavors (a brilliant mimic of others' voices and behavioral styles) and a multifaceted great talented, creative actress. Having her as a mother sounds like ... what the Fun. And she has a sterling character. With humor and generosity survived two bad husbands, the second of whom left her with huge debt that unsinkable Debbie repaid fully by working hard.
Video is 5:50, she talks about Carrie for :20
I love Debbie and carrie. I feel like I have some weird connection with them but I dont know what it is...
Debbie has a great sense of humor which keeps anyone young. If you are an uptight old fart you will look 90 at 40.
Quite entertaining, just didn't know that about Debbie R .
thanks! i was looking on amazon and was confused cos there wasn't a main book listed lol thanks again :)
God, she's a laugh. IMAGINE having her as a mother!!! Talk about 'WTF?'
Singing In The Rain vs Star Wars!
Piper Laurie's long lost Sister of the moon 🌙!!💖🎶😃
OMG Nothing like my MOM...but what the hell.......I was WAY WAY TOO protected...and here I am now..LOL you guys guess if ya want
@defundthewar what's it called? i wanna get it haha
Q.E.P.D.
Truth be told I think that Eddie And Debbie did not look like they went together. Young they were a cute couple but as they got older they looked like an odd pairing.
Debbie's narratives are interesting, to those interested in her topics ... of her craft and history in show business. If you're not, why are you here? Were Carrie more historically astute, she'd better sympathize and empathize with her mom. Carrie's talents are different ... she writes, but can't sing or dance. People are uniquely gifted and not.
Carrie could indeed sing. Very well. ox
JudgeJulieLit Carrie was a FANTASTIC singer, but nobody would know because she just didn't like singing. Go watch her and her mother sing together at the end of the Oprah episode they were on about 5yrs ago. Really good!. 😀
Carrie was the complete entertainer! Sing, dance, act, write, produce. Carrie was a child prodigy. She just chose acting, writing, and producing.
Judgejulielit or watch Carrie sing on bright lights and Debbie cries and says I wish I had that voice, so touching and sad.
@BernardProfitendieu yeah, they moved on all right . they had to! the grim reaper knocked at their door. lol
@defundthewar the book, that is lol
I like Carrie, because she doesn't drone like Mom.
Debbie was talented but her jokes were sometimes lame.
Not so much lame but after hearing so many of her interviews the last 20 years, she does run through her same routine a bit much. I suppose other comedians/actors can start sounding like a broken record as well after being interviewed so many times.
She and Carrie look the same age now.......(sad).
Yup. They sure do.
Carrie has been through alot because of being bipolar and manic depressant. She has had shock treatment several times and that is very hard on the body. Debbie has been a great mom and support to her daughter.
