Plus neither graphics nor gameplay is anything we haven't seen before. No wonder people say this generation of gaming is stagnant.

There are companies to launch projects over many years budgeted in the millions in order to make a game. I unfortunately don't have that much after I pay rent. So my criticism is not on a developer who just did his job and collected his pay, it's on the decision makers and creators who no longer bother taking a shred of risks

Where's GranBlue Fantasy Relink? Kinda shocked it's not here. It's got to be one of the best Action RPGS I've ever played of all time, let alone the year. And it's already breaking a bunch of records on Steam and become the #1 most played JRPG within just one week (right after MHWorld) For me personally, it's right up there with Monster Hunter World.

I’m so excited for Dragons Dogma 2,it’s been my most anticipated game and it’s actually coming out on my birthday, I’m going to turn 21 the day one of my favorite games ever gets an incredible looking sequel.

It’s not hard like nioh but it controls somewhat similar, it’s also like always on sale on steam for very cheap, like 5ish dollars I think. I would highly recommend it

For me, every tekken game has been top notch. Ive been in it since tekken 2. Street fighter doesnt even come close, soul caliber is OK....and the only MK that i enjoyed as much as tekken, is MK11. And even then- only play as sub zero. Favourite tekken character- Jin Kazama. Bycicle kick+ double punch- so satisfying 😊
It breaks my heart to see Jake excited for it when the game has all the telltale signs of disappointment. Of course we need more pirate games 🏴☠️ but Ubisoft has the magic reverse midas touch - turning gold ideas into shit delivery. A “pirate” game where you essentially play as a ship… no boarding, no island exploration, no on foot combat, forced multiplayer, surprisingly bad animation, fetch quests, weirdly bad mouth movement for speech… it feels like a mobile game. I was excited for it when it was first announced I thought it was going to be more Black Flag, oh how wrong I was.
I love final fantasy, yet I can’t stand what they did to the franchise. I won’t be buying any of their Devil May Cry Final fantasy bullshit. Funny how so many other games they described as a “devil may cry” type of gameplay when the dude who made DMC has moved to square Enid to make final fantasy games that are devil may cry. Dogshit. I hope they lose customers.
It’s not that I hate Devil May Cry. I just liked final fantasy for what it was. If I wanted to play a DMC style game, then you play DMC but if you wanna play a classic RPG that has mostly turn based combat, then that’s what you should be getting when playing final fantasy. Granted 7’s remake is trying to incorporate some of that and while doing so, they’ve made the game into another kingdom hearts 😅 with how stupid the storyline is now. But it is what it is
God I can't wait for Rise of the Ronin. I wouldn't get my hopes up for the story though, team Ninja games usually have a pretty mediocre story, like Nioh 1,2 and Wo Long. But all these games have amazing combat. If they can make a game with that level of combat AND a great story, this might be one of the better games this year, which will be a difficult task with FF Rebirth, DD2 and LAD Infinite Wealth.
I am super stoked for Space Marine 2, mainly because my first ever foray into WH40K was Boltgun last year. Also, 18 of 20 in this list on PC makes me smile :D

They can’t make an exclusive game to save their lives! The 2 we got last year were just disappointing. One was a cash grab shit show and the 2nd was touted as the X Box savior and it just got lost in space. They have all the damn money in the world and can’t make good games. They do have some interesting titles for 2024 but I feel like out of those maybe 2or3 will be decent.

Got the plat yesterday and the gameplay and minigames are very fun. Black Myth and Final Fantasy Rebirth are the games I am excited for, I know I'll have to wait to play Rebirth as I am a PC gamer and don't console game but hopefully next year I'll get to play it, but with my back log of games I am definitely good on the wait..lol
Silksong, and Elden Ring DLC is all I need.

Bought Rise of the Ronin. Beat it. Meh! it’s ok. Then decided to buy Ghost of Tsushima and holy moly! Should’ve bought that one first. Way better than Ronin. Hands down. All of these other games in this list look boring to me.

ps. Does anyone know, on PS store, if Bloodborne Complete Edition (includes Old Hunters DLC) ever went on sale in the past? If so, when and how much was it?
I recall seeing the dlc alone for $5, don't recall ever seeing a bundle sale.

They can’t make an exclusive game to save their lives! The 2 we got last year were just disappointing. One was a cash grab shit show and the 2nd was touted as the X Box savior and it just got lost in space. They have all the damn money in the world and can’t make good games. They do have some interesting titles for 2024 but I feel like out of those maybe 2or3 will be decent.

20$ unless you buy the ultimate edition. But yea, they are sadly. I only bought the regular version though, and the game is amazing. Got the plat yesterday and the gameplay and minigames are very fun. I can see why some people won’t buy it because of the greedy tactics they’ve done with it though, but again, the base game was very fun, if you aren’t going to replay the game anyways, I’d say get it. Me personally, I’ll just wait until the dlc goes on sale for like 5$ and get it (if I want to play the game again that is) but I paid 70 for it because I didn’t pay for like a dragon because it was given to me for free by ps plus. So since I didn’t pay for the last game I bought this one, because again, I had a lot of fun on both like a dragon and this one.

If there is no Sleeping Dogs 2, Max Payne 5, Syphon Filter, Tomb Raider, Far Cry 7, DOA7, Need 4 Speed Hot Pursuit 2, N4S High Stakes, Red Redemption 3, Ghost of Tsushima 2, Burnout, and Yoshis Island. It means NO BUY!
