There are protected bodies of water that do not allow gas motors so an eMotor may allow you to search those bodies of water as well; with a smaller battery, it would work well in an inflatable boats as well. Cool beans!

Congratulations 🎊 you needed something more cost efficient than the large motor. But don't charge your battery by or in your motor home. E batteries are known for setting on fire. Stay safe and keep on diving it's not worth it to stop

I about lost it 🤣 watching Eric watch Jacob's hands 👀 Eric was so fixed on Jacob's hands as they moved all over holding the knife. Eric reaches over removes the knife from Jacob's hand and sits it down.🤣
Jacob was excited, trying explain things and remember things he was little more antsy than normal making Eric just little nervous. 😉 As soon as Eric sat the knife down you can see Eric instantly relax and Jacob able to focus more on what he was trying to say.🤣

What about when weather kicks up 9r something else that will require more horse power in order to be safe or get back quickly !?! Will you still be carrying A regular engine for emergencies power ??!
Yes the electric motor will be on the side of the back of the boat “kicker motor” it will allow me to use both engines if needed

Hey guys that's pretty awesome. I however as a technician have to warn you of 48VDC. It's very dangerous. 12 volts DC is extremely safe. I've only been shocked by 12V when licking the wires. Once you get up to 24VDC it'll light you up about as bad if not worse then 110VAC. DC is worse than AC. When you get to 48VDC it's a potential killer. Some say it's not that bad but when you're sweaty and accidentally touch a 24VDC rail on a huge marine battery bank you'll realize that it's no joke. Just be careful with that kind of voltage.
Is there a way for them to protect themselves from that happening?
@@lauradoll4248 Follow the instructions and try to not bridge the positive and negative with your body. They can touch one or the other, but not both together. And electrically insulated gloves help too, even the simple latex gloves are fine. And just protect the wiring circuit and battery from human contact.

How do you steer it? Is it done remotely?
There’s a linkage bar that goes to the big motor and that allows us to use our regular steering.
@@ChaosDivers Awesome. It’s going to work so much better when you’re doing sonar. It will save the gears on the Yamaha 200, save money and be quiet while you do lives if you want the rear door open In Spring and Fall. So awesome that they sponsored y’all. I watched the sunken boat episode today. I wonder where that boat is? Thought y’all had it. Is it more difficult to read sonar at deeper depths? Keep up the great work. You’ll find it if it’s there.

No. It will be put on the kicker plate and we will have both motors. We will use it, as well as the larger motor.
