Very good Peter, but did you check the drive for backlash. Good quality radio drives always used spragued gears to take up the backlash otherwise it would make precise tuning difficult. Just a thought.

not sure if you used a metric or non metric size allen key Peter? eg the keys in each set are similar in size but slightly different in diameter so the equivalent size in the other key set might fit...Just a thought...
