rather abot medival times we know that Poland was very strong about ancient times we dont know to much source just something mention about vandals or powerful kingdom Lechistan for example Turks today still call Poland Lechistan, about ancient times are only unconfirmed interesting theories that Poland could founded assume Roman legionaries who served in the army Rome and then returned to their home lands becouse for example coats of the oldest Polish families is a lot of references to rome etc. there are rejected theories that it was Vikings. e.t.c,
From what I know about Poland, they should get some bonus to repairing building. I mean, just look how did Warsaw look like in 1945, and how it look today, less than 100 years later ( It's actually impressive, considering that most of that time Poland was under communist government). Maybe even pictures from 1950 will show how good Poland was in rebuilding.
Drew Durnil Maybe Drew won't, but Cracklord has worshipped frickin' shoulders for a while now. Farm your first Wheat and Rice and you will not stop talking about them hips until Gorgo slaps you in the face with that cool spear of hers.
So many bonuses...I think the culture bomb looks amazing. That military engineer just blew up the Potala palace! I wonder if that works on tiles with finished wonders and districts?
Ok I'm currently playing a campaign as Poland and it's, wow, I already have very civ except for one converted to my region solely through culture bombs and tourism, oh god the amount of tourism. Not to mention that I've never been in one war and yet I have the most land of any civ, just through taking land.
Vincent Van Gogh It is, it came out as they released the trailer I believe, because I have the Deluxe edition so when I went on steam after watching the trailer it was downloading the dlc.
A fun strategy I like with poland is to try and get the religion right away and go for a domination victory. I dont know the names of them all but theres a founders belief that gives units +10 combat strength near foreign cities with your religion. You culture bomb them, then you run them over. You can also use faith to convert cities with the religious units before you attack.
1:35 *"The Winged Hussar (...) can push back defending enemies."* In other words: get enough Winged Hussars and enough enemies in the same general area, and the war will turn into a Blood Bowl game. _(laughs)_ I love it!
If you're playing VS the AI, mid - late game international trade routes are far better, especially late game when you get the "Globalization" card [ +5 to production, +10 to Gold for international trade routes ], plus there's a +4 to Food card (not sure the name) if food is something you want as well. If you're the suzerain of Carthage, you get +1 Trade route for each encampment you build. I only do domestic trade routes for food and production, or routes to city-states early game for the faith, culture, science, or gold early game - since Barbarians run rampant. If I need a wonder built quickly, I'll start stacking trade routes from that city towards production if I've got nothing left I want to chop. Once a good portion of the map is settled, all my routes are international and I'm making between 500 - 1,000 gold per turn easy.
Anyone know how often we can expect new CIVS? I myself is still playing CIV5, as i want to wait for a more complete game, and i like the different setups i can do in CIV5 with all the civs. However watching some of your Lets play in CIV6, looks awesome.
Can I again ask for that Relic/Religion based Culture Victory game, it seems Poland would be really good at that kind of strategy with their relic bonus, so that could be a good one for the next series. Kongo and Russia would also be good for that route so I'd be fine with them too.
Jamessy65 i think his China series got the "crash" syndrom. That bug where it constantly crashes on the same turn. But i don't really know. Never watched it, bit think he mentioned it ina video, maybie the 1st patch video.
I suppose Jadwiga is a decent choice. Other alternative choices were probably Pope John Paul II, Lech Wałęsa, Władysław Sikorski, Róża Luksemburg, Edward Rydz-Śmigły, or Rafał Kalinowski
I'm not so sure, if the trade route bonus is promoting external traderoutes. Internal trade routes already give production and with the right districts more than the bonus production from the external deliver.
Probably, though this is one of the better examples of female rulers in history. Jadwiga was an actual queen regnant and was by all accounts a good ruler.
She's the wife of the king who fucked the Teutonic Order in 1410! After his dead she made many good things for the people of the country and country's economy. While she was alive she was beatified by the pope, for all the good things that she made and devoted for the people.
You mixed it up. She died in 1399, long before her husband, Jagiełło. She was a ruler *before* marrying him (that's why she held a title of "king" and not "queen").
How about you play Poland before you call it OP? way to join the bandwagon. The culture bomb has been weakened from Civ5, being limited to capturing territory within 3 tiles of your cities. Also unlike Greece, Poland converts their military into a wildcard, so they don't get more options just a bit more flexibility. In the early game you have to choose if you want to sacrifice the military policy for something else.
I swear someone on the developer team loves Poland, in every civ game they're always OP
Chase Le Noel Poland is stronk
Chase Le Noel Poland has always been a very influential country in ancient times so no wonder that they are op
Chase Le Noel is this like Poland Lithuania??
rather abot medival times we know that Poland was very strong about ancient times we dont know to much source just something mention about vandals or powerful kingdom Lechistan for example Turks today still call Poland Lechistan, about ancient times are only unconfirmed interesting theories that Poland could founded assume Roman legionaries who served in the army Rome and then returned to their home lands becouse for example coats of the oldest Polish families is a lot of references to rome etc. there are rejected theories that it was Vikings. e.t.c,
Polish specialists and companies have a very strong position in the gaming industry :)) so some team can loves Poland :)))
Poland can't into space, but can into your space :)
Nice lol
Mateusz Nowak
Poland can into my space ;3
A polish man has been into space. So Poland can into space
Also you can still get science victory as them soooo

And for defense war
(battle of Wizna and all September campaign)
Communists rebuild whole of eastern europe
Her hips don't lie. Good god!
LOL I noticed that too. Was like "damn, some child bearing hips there"...haha
@Luka Hays yeah and became king at age of 12 XD
Another fartherless child
Did you guys know that Jadwiga was a king, not queen until she married Jagiełło?
Another funny fact: she was daughter of Hungarian king
MrPolityczny and from french dynasty xD
She's also a saint.
Yeah but its actually the case in most middle ages female leaders
And look at yourself. Your channel rose, like Poland in Civilization VI :)
"I swear someone in the Dev team must love poland" BUT THEY'RE NEVER INCLUDED IN THE FREAKIN MAIN GAME!!! DX
HER CROWN AND SCEPTER ARE BEAAAUTIFUL, LOOK AT THIS STAFF
Tiago Adulis
Look at those hips.
I hope for Persia, Mayans, Carthage, Babylon, and Mongols next
TheMagnifierOfKnowledge i miss zulu xD
snakebitgoat I don't think Korea will be there, because Seoul is already a city state in civ 6
I want KHANNNNNN
yeah but stockholm was a city state in civ 5 then they added sweden anyway
I want three unique units...
have we found drews New crush? watch out cleopatra and gorgo's shoulders
kwadwo baidoo gorgo's shoulder
Ladies and gentlemen, brace yourselves; for I can see the "Drew cheats on Cleopatra" jokes on the horizon- and they're coming straight towards us.
Drew will never cheat on Cleopatra though
Drew Durnil Maybe Drew won't, but Cracklord has worshipped frickin' shoulders for a while now. Farm your first Wheat and Rice and you will not stop talking about them hips until Gorgo slaps you in the face with that cool spear of hers.
Giannis Pantazis
O.O
So many bonuses...I think the culture bomb looks amazing. That military engineer just blew up the Potala palace! I wonder if that works on tiles with finished wonders and districts?

Having a scout find a relic in 3xxx BC is awesome!
I'm expecting to see Drew do a Lets Play of Poland after he finishes India.
Poland OP once more
I swear there is some dedicaded Poland lover in Dev team for Civ games
Edim 108 In Civ VII, Poland will have lazors as UU after researching mining
Ther only way to fix the OPness of this Civ, is to give -10 combat strength when fighting Germany in the modern era.
Read about September campaign or only battle of Wizna - this should be + 10 combat when in defense war
I love Poland thank for video :)
I want shaka to raid down everyone. If the zulu isnt going to be in a dlc, RIP shaka

When can I expect Persia?
Persia is too busy getting manhandled by Tomyris and Gorgo
1:35 *"The Winged Hussar (...) can push back defending enemies."*
In other words: get enough Winged Hussars and enough enemies in the same general area, and the war will turn into a Blood Bowl game. _(laughs)_ I love it!
Poland stronk ;)
Derw looks like he is missing his feet. Imagine him just beeing a Head and a body :D
Can we get the Mongolians next with Genghis Khan?
Poland!
Hey Drew, are you going to be doing a video breaking down the latest update?
hey youtube it's ne again, why am I unsubscribed from this amazing channel?
If you're playing VS the AI, mid - late game international trade routes are far better, especially late game when you get the "Globalization" card [ +5 to production, +10 to Gold for international trade routes ], plus there's a +4 to Food card (not sure the name) if food is something you want as well. May somebody please explain the whole Poland can't go to space joke?
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polandball
Can I again ask for that Relic/Religion based Culture Victory game, it seems Poland would be really good at that kind of strategy with their relic bonus, so that could be a good one for the next series. Kongo and Russia would also be good for that route so I'd be fine with them too.
Was I alone when I accidentally grew a crush on her😅😂🤣
If Poland really is as good as everyone says they are, then I must really suck at CIV if I can’t even win as them
AND THEN THE WINGED HUSSARS ARRIVED
also they get bonus adjacency bonuses on holy sites
Yay!! Poland!!
So are you ever going to finish that China series you randomly abandoned?
Jamessy65 i think his China series got the "crash" syndrom. That bug where it constantly crashes on the same turn. But i don't really know. Never watched it, bit think he mentioned it ina video, maybie the 1st patch video.
Yeah I know, but like, I'm assuming Firaxis have already fixed that bug...So it's like? Maybe you should go back to it.
Jamessy65 if it wasn't fixes in this update, it wasn't. But idk.
is this a free DLC?
Daniel Mikhalchuk it's on sale really cheap tho
Daniel Mikhalchuk Its 5 dollars

Please, play Poland in next gameplay!
Krecik123 they're not out yet
Jack de Reduvo yes they are.
Oh
This is like when you could use faith in Civ 5 to purchase generals and steal the shit out of someone's land.
I want Mongolia Zulu and Canada next.
play as poland!!
Poland led by Frédéric Chopin!!! Yeah, he's not a leader, but I'd enjoy that culture boost.
I miss Venice
Polan can into space
The thumbnail tho
I suppose Jadwiga is a decent choice. Other alternative choices were probably Pope John Paul II, Lech Wałęsa, Władysław Sikorski, Róża Luksemburg, Edward Rydz-Śmigły, or Rafał Kalinowski
i would have preffered Jan Sobieski
Maybe Batory would be better?
I'm not so sure, if the trade route bonus is promoting external traderoutes. Internal trade routes already give production and with the right districts more than the bonus production from the external deliver.
Uhm i think you're wrong about the trade thing drew. It's the opposite.
how can i get this new civ ?
A deluxe copy of the game gives it to you for free, else you need to buy a DLC
No Unique Building? Agenda?
Alex Dobma he showed the unique building
Yeah but he didnt explain it
This DLC is for Windows only and is a 1 civ DLC. If you got a mac you paid for the DLC for nothing.
play civ 6 as Norway drew
Cleo may be 11/10 but I definitely would cheat on her for jadwiga again
Jeszcze Polska nie zgineła!
where is Canada!?
you know Poland was op about 400 years ago
Until gangbanged by Russia, Prussia and Austria?
@@bos1218 yeah it was after the swedish raid
Poland Stronk!
I feel that the dev team is stretching far to include female rulers but it doesn't really matter it's just a face to the nation.
Harry Lord I loved this woman, her staff and crown, aaah! I love these female leaders
Probably, though this is one of the better examples of female rulers in history. Jadwiga was an actual queen regnant and was by all accounts a good ruler.
Yeah I think Tomyris was a stretch too for Scythia. But it doesn't matter all too much I guess.
is dlc free
Hairy Wolf nein
Hairy Wolf nein
Hairy Wolf it's £4 unless you have the deluxe version then it's free

Jack de Reduvo
Have to meet those gender quotas.
first
Who is dat queen? like wtf?
Actually she's a King ;p
Tyrion Lannister yh i forgot xd
She's the wife of the king who fucked the Teutonic Order in 1410! After his dead she made many good things for the people of the country and country's economy. While she was alive she was beatified by the pope, for all the good things that she made and devoted for the people.
Ok thanks

Richard Merrick more flexibility is more options. the options have increased from a military card to any card
