I’ve never been the most environmentally conscious girl out there, mostly to do with me only being 18 and lacking most of the ingredients/tools/money to buy the aforementioned things, but I absolutely love this new style of content from you!! It’s so interesting, not to mention how calming your voice and content in general is! Perfect to watch before bed to wind down, or after a hard day. Much love Klaire x
I’ve come from the KlaireDeLys channel where I’ve watched you and followed you years, I’ve always loved your content. There’s something gentle about it that is always a pleasure to watch. You’re newer content, although something I may not make or do for myself - I still love! It’s just so refreshing to watch, I love your cinematography and aesthetic. I just love to support the things you’re passionate about. What a joy to watch!
@@KlairedeLysOfficial I especially love your little baking videos and skin care videos the most. Just because i'm a skin care fanatic with a sweet tooth :) but i truly love every video you post. I also really enjoyed your recent jewelry organizing video, so much beautiful jewelry and an adorable little potato!! :)
I love these types of videos! Could you include the things you use it for at the end of them? That would be lovely. I don't mind looking it up but perhaps you have creative ways that aren't so easy to find
I keep waiting for, “that’s it, you’re done!” at the end and I’m always disappointed when you don’t say it. Klaire that’s your thing and we love you for it! I am seriously digging these DIY videos for creating minimal waste. You’re a boss. I have been trying to figure out how to use something other than Saranwrap/Clingfilm bc so much plastic waste, and I’m interested in trying your beeswax cloth. These videos are just so interesting! Now I know how to make apple cider vinegar even if I don’t know what mother or scoby mean in terms of fermentation and brewing apples.
I am currently making this, one week left and it looks pretty good. I do need to buy some proper weights to hold down the apples. Currently I am using a shot class because it was the only thing that fit😅😂
There are quite a few ways that you can use those for decorating. I have a few posts on my Instagram showing how to make twirl decorations with them, but I'll have a few videos about it too closer to Christmas :)
You can use it for cooking, cleaning, skincare, haircare, I even use it in the water for cut flowers to make them last a little longer. I'll be featuring it in a LOT of videos, so I wanted to show how to make it first.
Found this after watching a ton of other videos! Duh! Can I ask, most other videos talk of a second ferment, or rather, when they strain the apples, they store the jars a few weeks and smell or taste or test for acidity/ preference. I’m still not sure how they stop it further fermenting once it reaches the level you like. Otherwise, why mention checking it a month after straining? Have I explained myself properly? It seems to me that once it reaches your preferred level you’d have to do something to prevent it getting any more acidic. Sorry this is a bit garbled but it has really confused me, and I have my first batch on the go! 😅 great to hear a fellow Brit, and have subscribed.
Cooking, cleaning, haircare, skincare and keeping my cut flowers alive :) I'll be featuring it in a lot of my future videos which is why I wanted to get this video done first.
Misashi Tao lol I don’t even watch Brad’s series, I love Gourmet Makes with Claire or IWDFCFTBATK as the meme states. She’s always hauling out something from the dehydrator or using something Brad has dehydrated or is in the process of dehydrating. Major love for BA!
I LOVE your newer content. I really enjoy easy ways to reduce waste and these videos just speak to me!
Thank you! 😄
This is just what I was thinking!

the dislike on this video is from the flies who couldn’t get into your vinegar
Haha!

That apple peeler 😍
I know! It's such a massive time saver!
Yes! I’ve been looking for this! If I’m not peeling apples in large quantities, can I freeze the scraps until I have enough to ferment?
Yes, you can! :D
Thank you for these videos!
this is how i do it to ! lot's of love from portugal 😘😘
Ah, I love this! I'm excited to try this, once I'm back in my own kitchen (currently moving house).

Klaire - can you show us if you ferment vegetables, like Kimchi or sauerkraut, and how you make it?

I absolutely love this tutorial!! ❤️
i would love a way of using mandarin peels (besides compost) :P they smell so good i feel bad throwing them on the compost heap !

I use my orange, lemon, grapefruit and such peels in distilled white vinegar for natural cleaning.

Just subscribe.. Watch an ad... I really love your channel.. Do this kind of work more and more... Love from Bangladesh
Can I use this vinegar for cleaning or does it make the surfaces sticky?
What does it mean if after a week and a half your mixture smells like apple alcohol instead of vinegar?
very cool! what do you use your apple cider vinegar for?
Question to anyone:
Do you have to refrigerate ACV or can it stay at room temp longterm?
Hi! Did you use vinegar when you washed the apples in the beginning of your video? :)
Yes, I used some of what was left from my last batch.
@@KlairedeLysOfficial Thanks!
