This is my 3rd class I've watched so far. I consider myself an intermediate to advanced Mac user and I find these classes very informative, packed with loads of useful info & tips and very well presented. I will highly recommend these to friends & family.
You're not advanced unless you know how to do everything in the terminal. I doubt you're "advanced" if you are watching these lessons lololo.

I just bought my first mac.
A friend of mine bought a used one and left it with me for 10 days until he picks it up.
I decided to buy my own on the second day, and that was the first time I ever used a mac.

TODAY I GOT SMART decided to learn and David is the best intelligent clear balanced views pleasant sounding instills confidence concientious respectful of people at every level Ive tried others couldn't do it often discouraged by accents precocious attention getting egocentric and discouraging Im on my way again ..............passionate about topics trust him and am again on my way I hope David Cox makes a lot of money he is so worth it but Im sure this is low on his motivation.... Hi, very useful class for a novice, on an iMac thanks very much For the video. I found it really helpful and useful. One question is that the Adware medic is now taken over by Malwarebytes, would you still recommend it?

Are the youtube videos kinda blurry for anyone else using the macbook pro with retina display?
Shanchilly all our videos are 1080p. you're watching in on low def settings.
David A. Cox 480p looks fine on my hp laptop but now on this retina macbook pro, they look blurry :l UA-cam thumbnails and programs like MS office are also really blurry

I've had my imac for 4 months now and a macbook over a year. This is the first time I've watched any kind of tutorial and found most of it very useful, I'll be checking out his other stuff.
Who dislikes these videos? Do trolls just go around youtube and dislike videos just for the hell of it? Or do they have an excuse like, "This video is too long. Dislike." Kind of confused on that aspect.

Hajar Rashidi, I have a whole different take. I may not have all of my facts perfect but David Cox started with a website that was 100% free of charge. Videos on numerous subjects that helped me so much when I was completely computer illiterate and broke. You could donate what you wanted, but it was totally voluntary. He has begun charging for some specialized training but is still the most generous person out there with helpful free information and clearly cares about helping people. Check into his history, I think you'll be impressed.
He said that his links are secure. If you search for freeware on the Internet you often get Junkware alongside it. His links are legit downloads.
When David started talking about scam sites for vlc & how he wants to protect us all from them, it feels like having a master, rather good one. like minions do. (Some of us are really idiot at some point though. it's good that we have David now.) Well, i just started following him a month ago, & i'd recommend following him for most of the mac users. you don't have to agree on all of the stuff ( like i'm still loving the dark mode, David seems to be rather unfair to it.. ; ) but in the end, it's cool & serves us all well. here's to our own personal more than genius/despicable master. oh i don't wanna go back to BD period...(Before David). I purchased my mac about a few months ago for school and was not able to fully explore or understand every difference on the mac compared to a PC. I thought, despite the length, it was a thorough and well taught class with volumes of valuable information. Thank you!
Great tutorial. This is my second class, from complete beginner I now feel confident and understand how a mac works. As a first time mac user I was totally confused by where to find everything and shortcuts after using a PC for years, and now after 2 short hours on my new mac working alongside this tutorial can use my mac.I would have no hesitation in recommending this video. I just purchased my first MacBook Pro and really enjoyed this class. It was very thorough and gave me a lot of tools necessary when coming from the PC world. Specifically, I thought the suggested software and hotkey functions were very beneficial.
Great tutorial, David. Have had the Macbook Pro for over a year having moved from Windows and picked up some new in formation from the tutorial. Highly recommended to those new to the Mac world.
I'm going to cut to the chase. Got a MAC mini after decades of HPs. Figured out some of what I needed to know....barely.....but just didn't take the time to watch your videos...until tonight. All I can say is BLESS YOUR HEART! (I just deleted something and used the Command Z key!!!) I can't thank you enough. After 18 months of guessing I sort of know my MAC! Hi David! I just bought a Macbook and I got to thank you for this tutorial! I honestly am not a fan of Macs but I needed to get one for business purposes because I understand that it is much safer and cleaner to use a Mac than a Windows PC. Being a 68 year old coming from the world of Microsoft and Linux to Mac I feel like I am learning a new language....I have just got a OS X Yosemite desktop and learning has been an uphill battle but David has been a big help...

I recently bought my first MAC and it's the new MacBook Pro w/Retina display. I've ALWAYS had PC based laptops and never knew what all the 'hype' was about Apple computers. Well, NOW I KNOW. Can't say enough about my new MacBook. Also, I COMPLETELY LOVED this video. So much helpful information, I took notes using 'Notes' during the video.
