- We took the all new Hyundai Verna 1.5 GDI Turbo for a test drive to check out the 160 bhp petrol drinker.

Hopefully this brings back the sedan culture back.. in my city surat, I've seen so many slavia and kushaqs, it's crazy. I'm really glad the germans(and czech) are making a comeback, hopefully they provide a bit more features too. Was unsure between slavia ambition and verna sx, both 1.5, but sadly the lack of basic things like a projector headlamps in a 17 lakh rs car was enough for me to book a verna. Will hopefully get it today. Thanks for your honest review bro. Everything you said was absolutely correct.

If budget is less than 15 go for city, till 18 go for verna turbo and 20 plus gti

Can u compare the sx turbo to skoda slavia... skoda has now released ambition model with 1.5 tsi.. it's 10k more than the sx turbo.. I'm trying to decide between these 2.

Concur about the handling, maza nahi aaya bhai, specially if you have driven a skoda/vw..but the acceleration for overtaking, if you're careful enough, is crazy af. There's no such acceleration in slavia/virtus sadly.. the punch when u put your foot on the pedal.

Yup, the GTI is a hot hatch, doesn't mean it's not a sports car. We are not LITERALLY defining things here. Horsepower alone does not define a sports car, it's the driving dynamics and it's utility.
The Verna is NOT a sports car, the GTI is a hot hatch.

The Steering Feedback is very poor! It doesn't weigh up properly with increase in speed. It's too light, feels like dead weight.
Although if your friend already drives another Hyundai car, he won't find any fault with the steering 😆

@@johndavidson3424 Too expensive for what it offers. Performance is a combination of all factors like suspension, handing, acceleration, braking.
The only good thing about this car is engine refinement and power. The handling sucks to be completely honest.
