- I am not quiet about starting out as a button skeptic. I wasn’t sure what to expect (especially with Flounder and how she is all over the place). I simply got the buttons for her to give her some sort of enrichment because she’s so intelligent and I thought it would be good for her in some capacity.
After living with a talking cat for over a year now, there’s no doubt in my mind that they understand this form of communication. After she learned basic concepts, I began teaching her anatomy to use the buttons for health reasons and cooperative care but again: low expectations.
Yesterday this happened and I didn’t even know how to respond because I was in total shock.
For skeptics: in the first video you can see her body language is droopy and she isn’t meowing a lot (see any other video so hear how much she normally meows). She’s also never droopy unless she’s really not feeling well. I misread her thinking it was her paw but she quickly corrected me. It’s also important to know that I don’t use treats to button train. It’s important to me that she learns the words and their meanings so we can communicate effectively. Using treats would muddy the water in my opinion, so I never associate buttons with treats.
As always, my mind is blown by this little cat and her amazing brain.

Oh. Did you not see the question marks? I was asking a question. To answer yours though: everyone has been coming up with my cat being pregnant so either this video implies it somehow or everyone is obsessed with reproduction and no one spays/neuters their pets anymore?
@@floundercatI would still recommend taking her to the vet even if she isn't pregnant, it could be some virus or a infection or worse
I chose to not spend a ton of money to stress my cat out because I overreacted because she over played. And then what happened was she was fine. Because she overplayed. But thank you so much for your advice.
