    This is, by far, one of the best explanations and discussions of a hurricane forecast I've ever seen. Thank you for pointing out the differences in the GFS and ECMWF and why those differences matter. Thank you, also, for pointing out how the high pressure domes will affect where Beryl is "steered."
    Sincerely, huge weather nerd from San Antonio

      I’m glad he is able to insert his opinion. Several non-mainstream meteorologists are saying they expect it to intensify worse than what MSM is telling us. Instead they will tell us last minute when too late to evacuate or millions of people trying to evacuate at once

    the Gulf is really warm this time of year. I think too that Beryl will intensify to a Cat 2-3 and move in a more Northerly direction. Texas coastline will be hit hard and more rain in the forecast than reported. JMHO!

    Whats real scary is if you compare harveys track to the forcast track.....they are almost IDENTICAL!!

    I believe you meant to say North Mexico or Southern TX. landfall will be Corpus Cristi.

      @@Mountain_bonker Waters in the Gulf are 84-94F. This is going to intensify and you'd be lucky if it's only a Cat 1. Beryl went from TS to Cat 5 in 48 hours. Beryl will have similar water temps again, so winds and other factors will be crucial. 7+ inches of rain over the state of Texas is no joke if you live in low lying areas. I couldn't care less because I don't live in Texas (although I'll be annoyed at the possible increase in gas prices), but this could become a Katrina/Harvey real quick.

      @@Mountain_bonkerwhatever you're basing your answer on is completely out of whack will be a cat 3 minimum by the time it hits landfall

    This guy has to be the best ones mainly because he added his personal opinion which I definitely agree with Beryl will definitely be stronger than a cat 1 hopefully not like Harvey this seems like a exact repeat again

    • @williamwatkins2538
      @williamwatkins2538 20 днів тому

      Doubt it, the thing with Harvey which we’ve never seen before was it was a very slow moving storm through the gulf it literally sat out there doing nothing for days before it made landfall. Almost every hurricane starts in the same spot and runs somewhere close to the path that Harvey took….

    • @SL-fk3ch
      @SL-fk3ch 18 днів тому

      I wasn’t here for Harvey, thankfully. But I’m glad he is able to insert his opinion. It just clipped the top of the Yucatan, and has plenty of very warm water in the Gulf to strengthen. More distance also as it's trending north of earlier predictions. Minimum--high-end Cat 2. People on the coast better prepare.

    • @areareare9953
      @areareare9953 20 днів тому

      I don't know where exactly it'll land, but I agree that it's slowed down enough that it could make Cat 3.
