I am so glad this is about the game and not the models. GW has got way too much detail now, I only build and paint so I can play, then I shove them in a box.
100% agree, new models are way too busy, its like designers and tech doing things because they can and they are being creative and no one is saying "hey. thats cool but how does someone paint that?" how can someone not break this whilst gaming? I wish there was some form of QA from a ease of use POV - doesnt really help new gamers/hobbyists get into the game when you need advanced modelling skills just to assemble basic troops

I'm going to do Red and White with silver and gold details. I have the box coming and now I need to dig out all my old Bretonians as well. Though TBH I'm planing to use them for AoS not ToW, its why I got the box - the men-at-arms were the thing I was missing.
yeah I bought it last night - only buying the new model and the rulebook would have costed me 50 bucks less than the entire thing - but I am so disappointed this is such a lazy operation! Truly shameful and disrespectful of the people that, by playing fantasy in EU, actually made GW happen
