Hi Jeff, it was one thing for me to become a Master Licensed Electrician, it was another thing for me to be able to run and manage my electrical contracting business. Whoever is reading this post, I recommend that you sign up with a one on one coaching business session with Jeff, he is the real deal. Thanks Jeff for this great service, Steve Kavallaris
3:44 - I've been doing just that! Except I use magnets rather than stickers. Here's what I do: Every time I see a sign for an estate sale or an open house in my city (Livonia, MI), I go to it, then head right for the basement to look at the panel. If it appears to be in need of an upgrade or a replacement, I will place a magnet on it. I've gotten at least 3 people that called me for service changes as a result!
Hey guy’s I also just had my first session with Jeff and will say that I need to fix a lot of what I’ve been doing wrong! Jeff thank you for taking time out of your busy day to coach us small business guys! Can’t wait for the next session and the flyer course! God bless!
Just had my first consultation with Jeff and it was AWESOME!!! Great conversation with a ton of useful tips and content. Jeff is obviously very experienced in the trade and knowledgeable in what works and how to succeed. I will be signing up for many more sessions to follow. Everyone needs a mentor like Jeff if they want to level up their business and career. Well done sir. Thank you. Look forward to our next session
My father was the sticker master panels furnaces boilers even he was there for an estimate only. I have other contractors I know text me pictures of a sticker from the 1970s or 1980’s that my grand fathers or my dads guys installed. And we still get calls from those stickers.
I did my first coaching session this past weekend and already I'm making more money by applying some of Jeff's suggestions. If you are looking to level up this year, you should definitely sign up for some one on one coaching from "The 360 Electrician"
I wouldn’t just randomly put stickers or magnets on panels because Murphys law something bad is goin to happen and your ad that survived the accident is now at blame. Because most of the time when firefighters can’t find what happened they blame electrical.
How many times have you seen that happen? You can wrap the building with your logo, and still have nothing to worry about unless you actually did bad work. The sticker means nothing if you never worked on the building. Do they automatically blame Eaton? There logo is stamped in the metal. Slap every panel with your stickers and in a few months / years you will start seeing the returns. In case your 1 in a million where they blame you due to a sticker let you insurance handle it. Soon as they find out there is no invoice or proof of work, case closed.
I see where you state Housecall Pro is best software but isnt that software based toward residential service electricians and not toward commercial contractors?
Yes 100%, that was a 2 years ago when we were not using software for our commercial Jobs. Once I found Field Pulse and saw they had "projects" including in their software for commercial and long term jobs, I reached out and the new sponsorship started. HCP was and is great if you plan on only doing service and don't plan to grow much.

Panel stickers aren't always a good idea. A lot of people ive talked to said when they have a lot of electrical issues they assume whoever left the sticker did the install. Our local news was doing a report on bad contractors with a lady who had a plumber come out that flooded her house took her money and left. I guess our plumbing department would put stickers under the sinks as advertising. Evening news rolls around showing this interview about these horrible companies. They open the door to show the bad work he did and guess what logo the entire city seen lol
There's also a chance of getting struck by lightning as well . Does that mean don't go to work? Absolutly disagree, You would have a great defimation lawsuit and retire. Nonsense panel sticker everything!!

Panel sticker is a great idea
Yes it's a must for long term growth.
Just make sure it's done. My guys do it for a short time then stop. You have to be consistent

I peel the stickers off. I don’t like stickers on things.
What's NXT?
The video says it all.
I think NXT is the name of the electrical business.

I agree that's why I do not use them

I charge what ever I can get away with...
I thought guys did this stuff for extra money and advertising?
