The "Grime" kind of reminds me of the slime from DQ mixed with the Druin from the first game! I really liked that static 3D sort of style you were testing out -- I bet it would look nice with the 3D corridors, but the drawn digital art style looks fantastic. And the fungus on the robots is such a good look. Adds to the dungeon vibe and gives it a robot/life hybrid sort of feel. The paratroids are also cool, it's like a Metroid mixed with a Cubone. The center art of the Phish is my favorite; but the first one is the sleekest. iWalker might be my favorite design. Whatever you do with this game -- just make sure it's finishable! Hoping things go smoothly between now and the next update. Also, wow that was an amazing shoutout! Thank you! 🙏
I'm glad you're digging the look so far! I also agree on the Phish -- the center design is the one I will likely go with in the end, but it was more unfinished than the other, so I included both. And of course, I was happy to give the shout out! You're making great stuff.
Definitely alot of megaman legends vibes off your project, I love it! I am contemplating creating my own DRPG project as well so I searched out other creators and your name was top of the list. I was not disappointed!
Hey, thank you! Mega Man Legends is definitely a big inspiration for me, and part of the vibes I'm after. Glad it's coming through! And it's good to hear from a fellow DRPG fan and developer. Thanks for checking out the channel!
Developing a JRPG style Grid Based Dungeon Crawler!! - how relevant to my interests. Sub'd when reviewing this series, since this genre of game is close to my heart! Enjoying the delivery of the content and I look forward to more, since that you asked - For further channel ideas, perhaps a discord channel ( just putting that out there ;)) Also for some mentions to futuristic DRPG's available for DOS / Amiga / Atari ST Captive, Xenomorph, Liberation, Z.
Thanks! I'm glad you're enjoying the content. I'll try to have more videos out soon, too. As for a discord channel, that's something I'm open to. I might have more news on that in the near future as well.
Yes, yes and yes. Yes to streaming! I'd love to watch you on Twitch! Looking forward to the next update already :D
Thanks, buddy! I'm planning to give twitch a go after the holidays. I'll keep you updated!
