Love this loop. As tempting as it may be , I really hope you don’t get an ebike anytime soon. Watching you nail the techy climbs is one of my favourite aspects of your channel. Respect for getting to the barn! That climbs a real killer
Great vid! My local and this is the best showcase I’ve watched, thanks! The mic setup is impressive btw - that wind 💨 And the Go-Pro anti-vibration was showcased on Potato Alley 🤣
Ladybower just doesn’t disappoint in any weather, fantastic video as always Andy, and good to see John back in the videos too, sweet video pal 😎 sound is awesome too 👍
Great vid. Went down Potato alley for the first time the other day and did lose the bike from under me! Will be going back to get through it in one go.
Nice video and a great loop! Next time you head down the descent on whinstone Lee tor, stick to the left as much as you can, Peak District MTB have laid bike specific tech lines on the left and it keeps bikes off the peat on the right, very techy very fun 😁 not a criticism by any means just a suggestion ☺️ keep up the work with the videos, the new mic is working well!
Loving your videos, just got back into mountain biking after road riding for the last 10 years. I live in holmfirth so just down the road from ladybower so need to get a ride in there soon.
Yes actually i did the same loop last Sunday on my own but I parked in Hope and came up the other side. Found some off piste stuff near lady bower great DH it was. Great vid mate n the sounds really good.!
@@TrailFinder Love watching your videos I did the hope loop one a couple of weeks ago that I downloaded from your komoot I really loved that one! There's a bit of everything on that ride! Keep up the great content all the hard work u do really does pay off 👏👍🚲💨
That’s going to be the best set up. Unfortunately I could only go blue front and back. That’s all they do in tan wall. But still really enjoying them. 👍
It's gotten to the point now where when I see one of your vids that I've never seen before, I click on the video, click on like and then actually watch it. Really enjoy this channel and it's really undersubscribed but thats because you have quality subscribers, not quantity.
Thanks mate. A few people have said I’m undersubbed. But when I look at channels that started at the same time or just before I’m miles ahead of them by thousands. But to be honest I’m not to bothered about huge numbers. Just as long as people like yourself enjoy what I’m doing. Thanks for the kind words 😁
@@TrailFinder Quality subs are all about the nitty gritty, which is why that bloke who reviews takeaways with a fold out table and chairs has just gone viral. Amongst the, ahem, more mature demographic, we're all done with filters, fake tits and lip filler (well, almost) and more into people actually doing something they like and reporting on it in a literate way, with decent editing and minimal fluff. There we go, I spoke for multitudes without authority, but I'm sure you know what I mean. Keep doing it but keep in mind your subs will be from yorkshire and we still have wind up computers up ere. If you do ever decide to go with lip fillers, we still wont judge :D
I love your vids mate, I really do, but some of these descents can't be very enjoyable. I mean we all enjoy a bit of a shitshow, good story and all that, but surely a bit of reward after a hard climb would be nice?

I won’t be getting an ebike anytime soon my friend 😁
Get an E bike 😁👍💚
Bloody Brilliant! Not done that loop for quite a few years. Definitely on my list of places to get to this Summer. Cheers, mate.
Amazing video. Sound is absolutely amazing. I look forward to riding that trail 😍
Nice ride

Agreed 😍👌
Done this one today after seeing this video a few months ago. Really enjoyed it, a lot more climbing than I'm used to but done it eventually.
Great video Andy. There's so much fantastic riding around Ladybower, looks like you picked a really good route to show that 👍
Thanks mate. Yeah that loop is a perfect introduction to the peaks for someone. John loved it.
The first time I went to the Peak District my dad took me there on a walk
Great video! Keep it up🔥👍
The peaks is a great place to walk and ride. 👍
Another belter to add to the list and thanks for sharing another great video.
Put it to the top of the list John. It’s great
What a ride that one is. Only done it once and remember it as one of the best. Nice climbing up those rock slabs, it's a beast!
Yeah it’s a great loop. And thought it be great introduction for John who’s never been to the peaks before.
Superb after watching your first tracked ride on this i took my son and rode it and gotta admit its a stonking ride so thankyou again for sharing 👍
Great video and sound quality is good even in the wind
Great video. Must go do that loop again soon
Mic sounds A1👍 ........ not been around Ladybower for years..... think I'll be planning a trip soon😁... great video...
Looks like some lovely routes
Great vid. Went down Potato alley for the first time the other day and did lose the bike from under me! Will be going back to get through it in one go.
Always a route worth doing and a great "best off but sensible" intro to Peak District riding. Hope your mate enjoyed it. Top stuff!
He really enjoyed it. Thanks 😁

Brilliant ! Great to watch 👌🏻

nice video. will need to come back and do the classic loop. glad you have the route to throw into the garmin :)
Thanks Mike. Enjoy when you come back to ride it

Thanks Peter. Great area to live near.

Thanks Jon.
Great video as usual mate keep them coming 👌 I did the exact same loop today and it’s awesome but the Gopro doesn’t do it any justice!
Fantastic footage! I'll have to give this loop a go, not done the whole lot at once!
Thanks. And go for it 😁
Another great vid with excellent audio 👌
Thanks Leon. Bit extra work for me. But think it’s worth it

Thanks. I appreciate the kind works 👍😁
That was a mint ride
The nobby nics are brilliant love mine on my, E bike 😁👍💚
Always been a fan. Although I have recently switch my front from a soft nic to an ultra soft Mary. With a speed grip nic outback. Great combo
Pot Alley is a bike wrecker 😲,ride Peaks most weekends ,great place 👍
Love potato alley 👍
Great loop that, done it many times. Surprised John hasn't done the peaks before.
I think he wants to do a few more. I’ll take him down the beast next 😂
@@TrailFinder or Jacobs ladder...
Planning on following some of these routes just using my phone. Is that a bad idea or should I get a gps?
Great vid. What audio device do you use? Thanks.
Hello next time ride cut gate they done some work on path up the top and the bog of doom
Did this exact loop yesterday, that climb at 13:00 is hideous! GoPro doesn’t do it justice lol
Hey, where do you park for this? Looking at doing tomorrow 👌
looking at doing a weekend in the peaks.. would this be a good ride to add in? ive only done cannock chase type stuff
Perfect introduction to peaks riding
Hey Andy. I live just around the corner from lady bower and new to your channel. How do I find these trials your riding?
On Strava. Links in the description
Video and audio 10/10
Thanks. Over the moon with the audio
That's a great loop. Did most of it a couple of weeks ago but chucked The Beast in for good measure👌 Great video as always🤘
As always thanks mark. 😁
It's a bit rougher since you last did it I think, but yeah I liked it 😁
Or8 pal.... Loving ya vids
U mentioned u have fitted nobby nic, is that front and rear? Cheers
Thanks mark. I’ve put them front and rear. They are great. Have transformed the ripmo. They are the new version that look like miniature magic Mary’s
@@TrailFinder yeah that's the ones I was looking into..... Blue stripe rear and orange front.
👍👍
That’s going to be the best set up. Unfortunately I could only go blue front and back. That’s all they do in tan wall. But still really enjoying them. 👍
Ohhh really......... I'm sure you'll be sound, better skills than me 🤣😉
Keep the vids coming pal and cheers for replying 👍👍👍

Do you need to lift your bike over any gates on this loop, thinking of taking the ebike and it not exactly “ lift” friendly 😅
All bridleway mate. So all gates are opening. So your absolutely fine. Enjoy
@@TrailFinder brilliant mate thanks for your reply, love the vids 👍
@@LeecMTB thanks Lee, appreciate it
Did this one Yesterday. I only live 40mins away so I was on Potato alley before 8am but I still did in 3L of water 🥵
It was a scorcher yesterday 😰
what garmin do you use bud ?
Its the 1030 plus
how do you know which way to go at junctions? are there signs? Thanks
Got a bike computer on the handlebars. It’s like a sat nav for the bike
What mic set up are you using
Think it was the zoom h1n for this video
Great video, could you make available maps of your riding routes, so we can follow you more easily. Rick
Try looking in the description. There is 3 links to choose from.
@@TrailFinder thank your for your prompt reply
Your welcome Rick 😁
Anyone know where I can find the exact route?
Why don’t you try looking in the description
the climb at 3:55 is also really fun to ride down
Been up it soo many times. Never down. Will have to give it a go
Lots of good feedback on this new mic 🤣
