Oh man, wish I could afford this .. after a massive stroke, and 30+ years off the grid I'm releasing tons of my "old" 80s stuff .. But dreaming is also ok as long as the music work :)
I love creating in unreal engine I do allot of music videos. But the only thing I can’t figure out is shadows. When I bring my png sequence in the shadows stutter or don’t match. How did you get the shadows to work in unreal engine is there a lesson I can purchase or a tutorial.
Very cool. I don't understand how you are able to make sweeping camera moves 0:55 - 0:58 without the perspective of the subject getting wonky. Great work!
if you look at the subjects feet you can tell that he has the keyed green screen subject applied as a material/texture to a 2-D plane with an object constraint on the plane instructing it to always face towards the camera, in this instance he applies a horizontal flip to one of the planes and brings it a bit closer to the camera to make the symmetrical aspect less obvious to your brain when he transitions the FOV of the camera from the one on the left to the one on the right and makes the transition swift but if you look closely at the subjects feet on the right you can see them pivot a tiny bit as the camera influences the angle of the 2-D plane its contained within during the transition
I've been following your work since I saw your virtual production showreel of 2021, seriously AMAZING work. I keep expecting to come find a video stating that you'll be working on a feature film next or something!
did you track the footage on 0:22? i see tracking markers on other wide shots but not that one in particular. I'm curious if just eye balling the tilt is good enough
@@PopoRamos It's been out for a while now. Thanks and I hope the course will be useful for you! As for the shot, no, I didn't use any tracking. I just animated the camera in Unreal Engine to roughly match the shot.
@@JaroAtry yes totally worth it! I was sold ever since I saw your first video on unreal and music videos. And thanks for the insight. I have been incorporating 3D scenes into music videos, and this will help out a lot. I have been using Blender mainly as I’m more familiar with it, but I’m also going to take more time to learn unreal. The concepts apply just the same though.
2024. Oh my goodness (great video work). Well...i guess UE pretty well elliminates the need to do much filming work outside or in a cold dark, smelly warehouse anymore. Wow. Its the new "real".
Great job I love it, I would like to contact you to work together on some projects. If you leave me an email I will contact you immediately. Thanks a lot.
Nah, this goes hard. Perfect integration. Everything looks like a real environment, Awesome.
