Hi Emma! Thank you for your review. My husband and I changed our plans and ended up spending 48 hours in Jaco as well before heading to Manuel Antonio. Because of your video we stayed at same hotel, and it is great 👍! Thanks for all the helpful info. Leaving today to head to MA which we've been before and love! 😀
So glad you found it helpful!! If you guys need any help setting up tours etc in Manuel Antonio, feel free to send me a message!! Thanks for your support 🥰
Hi Emma! Thanks for reminding - went there with Lindsay many times. Most the places you visit in Jaco we have been too.********thanks! Nice video. KH. Video, Canada
Well put together video! Definitely love that shot of the beautiful viewpoint! It kind of reminds me of San Jose but maybe a safer variant since there's a downtown area especially with the bars and club life just like San Jose? I'm not entirely sure if that's right but correct me if I am wrong haha! I used to think that Costa Rica is in the dry season now but it's interesting to see that it's rainy season at the time :) Really awesome stuff. Especially with Mama Sue in your videos, the content just got better haha! :) Love your videos Emma. Much love from Utah, USA
Hey, Thanks Tony! I wouldn't necessarily say it's safer, maybe a bit, but it really depends what situations you choose to put yourself into haha! Glad you're getting to enjoy seeing what the rainy season is like, and that you enjoy Mama Sue's presence! She definitely adds a little zing to the videos haha. Thanks as always!!!
Hi Emma I just loved this second video of your trips to Jaco. As you know I just love Jaco too and always stay there when I visit Costa Rica. I`ve never stayed at the Hotel Club del Mar but have gone there for drinks especially after hiking Miro Mountain. Where is Puddle Fish now located ? It use to be in Jaco Walk but I know it`s been relocated ? If I go back to CR next Winter I definitely want to go to Puddle Fish for a micro brew or three 😂 Cheers Emma and Mama Sue 🍺🍻🍺🍹Are your spots clearing up since you have ben on the wagon ?
I am so glad you enjoyed Lindsay! I definitely had you in mind during the production of these Jaco videos!! Club del Mar was quite nice, but maybe a little far from downtown for my personal liking. Puddlefish is actually right across from the dirt road to the Miro! You'll have to stop by when you come back to CR, it was great. Next time though, I need to have a few beers too haha. And slowly but surely, the spots are clearing up! one more month of meds and hopefully they will be gone! As always, thanks for watching Lindsay!
@@EmmainCostaRica I agree with you Emma 100 % Club deal Mar being at the extreme end of Jaco beach is too far from the main area of Jaco. We stay in Jaco at a small 11 unite hotel that`s smack dab in the center of Jaco . It`s named Pariso del Sol . It`s on the road where Pops Ice cream is located. Like most places it does have one major drawn back it`s not on the beach. The owner Matt is a great guy and the price is very inexpensive. OMG YES I love all your CR videos but especially the Jaco ones. I`m so glad your spots are getting better and hopefully next Winter I`ll be able to come back to CR and we can get together for some cold brews at Puddle Fish and other great Jaco bars and restaurants. Good night sweet dreams to you and Mama Sue and looking forward to new CR videos xxx 🧡
@@EmmainCostaRica It`s not the most glamorous hotel in Jaco but it`s very clean has a pool , air conditioning , a kitchen but no restaurant. Yes hopefully next Winter we can all have some beers together 😀🍺🍻🍺
Video very nicely done. In Jaco, had you come across a young lady travel assistant named, Sarah Elaina? I’m planning to visit Costa Rica in late ‘22 and was looking for references.
Thank you so much! Sarah Elena is the other girl that makes videos right? I am pretty sure that I saw in one of her videos that she is staying in Guanacaste now, but I definitely don't know her personally!!
Thanks for the video! What airport do you fly into to get there? I'm coming from California and was planning on using Southwest Airlines. It looks like the closest airport (SJO) they fly to is 1.5hrs away. Is it best to rent a car from SJO? Thanks
Thank you for watching, glad you found it helpful! Juan Santamaria is the main airport, and most central. Renting a car is the best for making the trip truly “yours” but a shuttle could also be nice if you just want to sit back and chill. If you need shuttle recommendations let me know!
@@EmmainCostaRica Hi Emma! Great video! I will be traveling to Jaco from SJO in less than two weeks and I would love your shuttle recommendations. Please feel free to send me a message or I can message you. Thank you!
im going next month, was the nightlife really that bad?! does it really die out at 9 or were you able to see somethings still going on? fyi great vids!
I mean it was due to the government restrictions, there's a huge fine if you don't go along with it, but now bars are permitted to be open until 10, and I know there are more events happening than when we filmed this video! I hope you enjoy, and thanks for your support!
@@EmmainCostaRica thanks! i tried looking up the 10pm, where did you find that information? or how do i find events? im going early september 4-12 any info will help thanks
Mmmm it maaay be on the Costa Rican government website? I think - I usually find this information from Facebook or friends. I also kind of stopped paying attention to it (haha). Events can be found on the social media of bars, or DJs holding the events! In Jaco, check out Black Marlin, they usually have something going on.
Hi! We got the more expensive one at about $340/night because we wanted to ocean front, but I believe they also have other options starting around $160 You can check the website too - clubdelmarcr.com/ Thanks for watching!
Just got back from Jaco this evening,…..the Brewery was HORRIBLE. 5 of us ordered the 3 beer flight and 3 of us didn’t drink them accept the sip that we took. Not trying to be mean, but those beers were the worse beers I’ve ever tasted. It was shocking they were so bad. The two that did drink theirs only did so because they didn’t wanna waste their money.
Oh no! Sorry to hear! I actually have learned since I made this video that the main brewer is now at Fuego in Dominical, so I wouldn’t be surprised if something happened that changed the recipes 🤔
Have you experienced any of these activities from the list?! What did we miss? Let us know!
My favorite part of this video is seeing how sweet you and your mom are together
Aww thanks!! Glad you enjoyed :)
That viewpoint is incredible, mama Sue and you are beautiful as ever
Isn't it cool?! Thanks for your support!

Used to hang out a lot with my friends in Jacó, that was our go to trip for the year's end, definitely an amazing expericence for sure.
Yess! It was so fun to go and party before COVID - I couldn't even imagine New Years! One day I will have to try it.

Yes, as long as you don’t put yourself in unsafe situations!
Been 9 times twice to quepos wish I could move there
Nice! Maybe one day :D

Did you find it to be pretty quiet due to covid?
In regards to parties, definitely. Aside from that there are still a fair number of people walking about!
😯😍😍😍

Wow, esa chica! 😍

Yeah, it was a treat for mama Sue's birthday so we went all out this time 😝

Hotel Club Del Mar!!
