Yes, you can make this street food favorite, including the delicious sauce, with just a handful of pantry staples. Easy merienda or appetizers that the whole family will love. Make it crispy and yummy! Let’s start cooking #SimpolKwekKwekWithManongSauce!
INGREDIENTS
For the kwek-kwek:
4 chicken eggs, boiled
10 to 15 quail eggs, boiled
1/2 cup water
3/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon fine black pepper
pinch of orange food color or annatto powder
1/4 cup flour, for dredging
cooking oil
For the manong sauce:
6 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons cornstarch
6 tablespoons soy sauce
2 red chilies, chopped
1 onion, minced
1 teaspoon minced garlic
cooking oil

Cookware: Masflex Cookware
1 1/2 cup water, 6 tbsp soy sauce, 6 tbsp brown sugar, 3 tbsp flour, 3 tbsp cornstarch. Allow to boil/simmer and thicken. Minced garlic, minced onion, siling labuyo, ground black pepper. Simmer. Turn off. Cool down a bit. 3/4 cup jflour, 1/4 cup cornstarch, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp atsuete powder, 1/2 cup water, ground black pepper (batter)
nakalagay sa details 2 tablespoon flour tapos 2 tablespoon cornstarch

Sir Chef nagtry po ako nito as in now lang po. I had a prob with the sauce. sobrang lapot wherein tablespoons lang po ginamit ko kasi hindi naman madami lulutuin ko.
but parang maja blanca na ang texture. I added water but still the same. 🤦♀️
