- I’m so happy and proud to announce that I started a collaboration with @ClaudioQuartaroneMusic (check him out he is a terrific guitar player!) this is an original piece by him called “You are in Barbados” produced by DDE Records. Here’s my guest solo on it 😊
You are IN Barbados!!!!! I wonder if Claudio was referencing Neville Goddard 🤔
Either way, fantastic playing, Matteo!
gotta love neville goddard
Who
😍
In other words, when it comes to musical hookups, you have license to dream big.
Thank you Maestro.
You're a genius.
Complimenti Matteo!!!
I swear this fkn guy always gets a smile out of me
Wouldn't surprise me if this Yamaha model starts getting more popular! Kid is out of this world! Just think when he's 40 😳
Vi vedo benissimo insieme, avete portato la tecnica chitarristica a livelli stratosferici!
Claudio Quartarone and Matteo Mancuso 🔥
I appreciate the effort an dedication you have. Absolutely wonderful it is to see the human spirit flourish through creation.
All of you Gen Z maestros are killing me! Fan freaking tasctic!👍 Thank you!
pochi secondi .......tanta roba!!!!!
I am convinced you will go down as one of the best ever.
He is already now. 😊
@@poppya54 sure is
Aspetta un attimo, sono caduto dalla sedia! Questa è una collaborazione stellare! Bravissimo Matteo, sei un genio!!!
Killer solo! Matteo wins! Flawless Victory! Fatality!
Due fuoriclasse!!!!
And you went first class!
Makes me feel so totally and utterly inadequate... It's depressing!
He's a complete musician in all respects
He’s a brilliant player… But don’t let that discourage you from continuing your own unique musical journey with some new ideas and inspiration! For example, it can be one particular chord or a certain way that he played a note, which you then can mix into your playing one by one. All the best! And always keep enjoying the music 🙂👍🏻
I’m always astounded!
Incredible...he sounds like Larry Carlton head ,holsworth heart and beyond...
I hear Per Nilsson
Virtuoso
Claudio Quartarone is a genius.
Muito bom!!!!!
Excellent!
Belíssimo timbre! Sensacional!
Beautiful song/solo
Mano que som incrível, parabéns !
you are crazy man!
Deep respect, Maestro!
Ciao Matteo , bellissimo come sempre , grazie .
Grande sanguuuuuuu😍
Semplicemente fantastico 😱💯💯💯💯
Ma quanto sei bravo!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
🎸🎧parabéns grande prodfiossanal 🎸🤜🎸🤛
Gnarly dude👍
Mateo, your vibrato is top notch 👍
Timbre 🤜🎸🤛perfeito
chorus de malade :)
WOW 😳!!!
Reminds me of my playing when I was younger
Concordo in pieno. E correggerei con "è roba CHE trita e ritrita" :))
@@giacomo.cantarini anche! 🤣 Soprattutto i neoclassici shredder.
No this is like Allan holdsworth playing smooth jazz.
Yeah!
0:20 goddddammmnnnn
yes convincing was never easier.... a grand master...
Amazing ? ...not enough to describe your performance ! Greetings from a bass player 🤙
💥💥💥💥💥💥
The two best. Ever. They have it all. Such a joy to witness greatness like this. I never get over it!!
I'm going to break my guitar now. Thanks...
Mateo should bust his guitar, Pete Toundson style, after every solo.
Mine has just left me after watching this video
Why not just practise instead?
@@nomnom112 fuck practice, lets break our guitar together
@@timwilson1339 😂😅🤣
5th 👍
Love it 👍
Guitar virtuoso
Ahahah alieno!😄
Where can we find the full song? :)
OHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Bellissimo leak di arpeggio semidiminuito
0:19-0:23 that phrase will probably get its own video on some YT-channel.
Love your stuff but you gotta make some videos with some length. These short ones are such a tease!
What model Yamaha guitar is that you are playing? Is it custom from the stock models?
We are all here for the middle video lick..
Trivial question, but what's the white line that runs between your pickups, on the bass side? Is it just decoration, or does it do something (eg, a hand rest?)?
Great playing as ever!
I think that is a suppressor for the high string to not flactuate much when strummed
I do not know for sure
I'd say it's a thumb rest, like some bass guitars have to support the finger style people normally use on bass. He uses two different finger styles: the traditional guitar finger style you see in this video and the bass finger style.
I don't think I've ever heard Matteo use that phrase in fourths one tritone away starting at 00:20. Interesting! And really balanced solo in terms of energy and space.
So he played on fourths on the triton of the running chord? Or a tritone away from tonic center?
@@soverzeniano The tonic is A. He played A D G C and Eb Ab Db Gb, and then the same one octave higher.
Hi guys, this is my new video with my fusion trio!

What gauge is used?
Wen album?
What dimension is this man in
Original pickups?
butter
Anyone know what gauge strings Matteo uses?
10.46 elixir
Grazie!
trop court mais Merci
That last string is what girls want.
Wait. What just happened? 🤯 😂
Neanche Einstein poteva immaginare un solo cosi
Please play on my records
Man I need a smoke⚠️
I wonder to what extent these solos are planned/rehearsed or even scripted. It would either be pure muscle memory or some rehearsed patterns to continually play so fluidly (I don't mean specific to this short piece today but in general). I am reminded of a time listening to an incredible gypsy jazz guitarist on a recording being awed by the improvising UNTIL I saw him in a live performance years later and I could hum the solos almost note for note because he played them exactly as I heard them some ten years ago. This is not a criticism because you need to keep a repertoire of patterns to play night after night and not screw up. Since Matteo's technique is hybrid classical/electric it would make sense that his approach would be to rehearse his lines.
Now.. do all that with a pick
Why? His technique is that
Bene Matteo!
Wtf!
0:18 what the shit?
Great guitarist but 40 seconds is not much. Very short solo.
No more holdsworth distortion and smooth jazz Matteo. Please.
Yes, Matteo, it is time to find your own voice! Your technique and skill can do so much more than sounding like yesteryears guitar-cliches;-)
@@hepphepps8356 just his ability to play with fingers at his level makes him a legend but he needs someone with taste to compose for him and produce his first album. Potential is limitless with a coach
Even Elton John had a lyricist- Bernie Taupin. Lennon and Harrison and McCartney needed each other.
Okay Statler and Waldorf. Whatever he does, he adds to it and leaps over it in unprecedented ways. If he is exploring jazz now, so be it. I suggest you check back in 10 years to hear who or what he reminds you of then.
@@MartinMaat 10 years is too long. Late teens/Early twenties is when people find their voice. Pat Metheny recorded Bright Size Life when he was 20.
Gross 🤮
Idk what you said, but I hope you know that was a compliment not an insult 😁
Horrible
Terribly skilled isn't he?
