Got my ‘22 Compass 6 days ago. First time in the Jeep family! I’m a short 5’1 and know a crossover is the only way to go for me. Came from a Ford Escape and I am so impressed with this Compass! Feel like I’m driving on air in a new century! Although I love this, I need to comment on the head room. Perfect for me but my husband, (6’0’) and my teen (5’10), it’s not ideal for them
You gotta start showing what apple carplay looks like on all the infotainment systems. Not just its default version. Especially since lots of cars are doing both vertical and horizontal plane screens.
Not to speak for Joe, but even in his full videos he doesn’t really get into infotainment systems. He does more of an overview then gives driving impressions. Just more his style. Other reviewers out there go more in depth into the systems etc.
I currently drive a 2020 Jeep Compass, and I love the upgraded interior of this refreshed model! The engine needs about 30 more hp and just as much t, but other than that, it's a perfect little SUV. Unless they upgrade the engine, my next Jeep will a Cherokee with a V6 or a 2.0T under the hood.
Great review. I’m a 5’8” large framed woman and my pet peeve is the bottom seats are too short and they cut in behind my thigh. The seat on this SUV definitely came close to the back of your knee. Will definitely look at this vehicle!

Just test drove this model and it felt nice. I felt a slight skip when I switched speed to merge into highway traffic. I would have liked a foot sensor to open the trunk. Other than that it’s perfect
If you think that's nice go test drive something with better quality like the CX-5, RAV4 or CR-V. I have this jeep as a rental right now and it's a huge downgrade in terms of quality.
My wife and I had a Compass a couple years ago and I do like the way they updated the interior on this new model. The design of the outside I always liked but the one thing they can’t change is the size of this car. I almost needed a pry bar to get in or out of that thing.
Another thumbs up for jeep 👍, simple clean design, no fake exhausts, pretty spacious for its size with touches of luxury. Nice one Joe 👍 keep em coming.

The Compass is a great casual car so this looks like mostly cosmetic extras for the 2021. But if the sound system is improved that’s a big plus as the factory system is trash. But without a bigger engine …might as well keep the 2020.

I had the 2017 Compass Latitude. Loved the interior and tech..unfortunately it fell under California lemon law I was having transmission issues so FCA bought the car back..now driving a RAV4
@@roslechte the more I drive the more I dislike it, not enough storage compartments. The drive is slow. Fuel economy is horrible! The tech is great looking but still has some work outs it needs done. I've had this since Dec 9th and I think I'm over it already. 🥴

I bought the 2018 version of this ride and had so many issues and found Mr. Raiti's video on the new 2021 Mazda CX-5 Carbon Edition which led me to get that vehicle and I'm happy with it. Good to see the much needed updates in the Compass. Oh and I appreciate the mention of Surge in this video. I used to love that soda and wish they still made it...way better than Mountain Dew

I love the power seats for the passenger and lumbar settings.That’s a must have for us,the vents and heated seats in the back are a bonus.We are definitely looking forward to seeing it.
I like the Jeep Compass but I wish they took the taillights and slimmed them down a bit to look like the Grand Cherokee but maybe they will do that on the Cherokee. Rear end looks a little "cute" for me to drive personally. I also think some dual exhausts would really set of the bottom portion of the design.

I can’t speak for Jeep but we have a 2016 RAV4 and a 2013 Honda Pilot.We are keeping the Honda and getting rid of the newer RAV4.Our neighbors traded their newer RAV4 and kept their older Camry when they bought their new Hyundai suv.We aren’t keeping the older vehicle because of sentimental reasons.

Jeep turned SUVs affordable for us brazilians... in our market, the Jeep Compass is a medium size SUV, and now is the MOST desirable car of Brazil, and one of our top sales car. Here, we have 1.3L 4x2 Flex (gasoline/ethanol) or 2.0L 4x4 turbodiesel.
@@zhen-yuanli1097 Here in Brazil, 2.0 diesel is always 4x4 and 170cv and 350nM torque... 1.3T is always a flex engine (gasoline/ethanol) 4x2 with 185cv and 270nM torque... For offroad capabilities no doubt 2.0 diesel is better... but 1.3T is a good deal if you are a city/road user... Here in Brazil Diesel engine cars costs 40% more than the gasoline engine ones.

I really do not recommend this jeep. It just does not hold up overtime. My cousin got a 2019 Jeep Compass and had the check engine light come on twice, had some weird computer issue, and a couple other small issues which caused him to return the vehicle.
My wife drives a ‘19 High Altitude. Nice vehicle if a little sluggish for my tastes but it is good looking, extremely good in the snow and bad weather and easy for her to handle. We had 2 GC’s before this that I still miss but she thought were too big so we stepped down to this mini GC. Lease is up next year on the ‘19, I’d get another to replace it but I’m just hoping the new one is a little more responsive. A sport mode would be nice. Looking forward to seeing you drive one to let me know what you think. Great job as always Joe & Lori (also my wife’s name).
