When I was younger every summer my town would have a car show, and there was about 4 or 5 AC 427's and one or 2 were real and 3 or 4 were replicas and I used to know the very minor differences to tell aside from VIN
Replica or not that car is still worth about 40,000 50,000 great car

@@ShannonBoys when you mean “real one” do you mean an actual cobra built in 65’ ? Or are you talking about one of these glorified “real” cobras… no real car enthusiast considers them real ones. They just say that so they can charge you 200,000$ for a replica. And sure, don’t think my mom will even bat an eye at you when my father with his 160,000 dollar built 52’ 5 Window Chevy pickup with a supercharged, and cammed Ls3 that makes 710 horse on the dyno , and a 2011 Camaro with 14,000 clicks (kilometres) on it (bought off the lot for 60,000$) , and a 1976 Chevy Squarebody with a 383 stroker, and a brand new GMC Denali duramax, and a Brand new Toyota 4Runner, and not to mention the 2014 Shelby GT500 Supersnake with only 7 (yes single digit) kilometres on it. And then there is me with a 2014 Chevy with 40,000km on the ol’ odometer (I bought myself believe it or not and it’s currently registered and insured in my name) and my 1951 Chevy Styline deluxe sedan which I also bought and built myself at 16 years old. Guess what you ain’t the only one with money. Doesn’t give you the right to be an asshole to everyone else. But regardless of all of that. I hope you have a fantastic day. I forgot to add super performance makes ones for guys that are about 6 ft tall the seat goes all the way back if you notice both of these there's about a 3-inch gap between the back of the seat and the body

I cant imagine there being any difference in the performance between an actual Cobra and a quality replica, you can probably make one even better than the original. Yeah, that harness will keep your body in place as your head disappears as it scrapes the asphalt 😮

The brand superformance was okay by Carroll Shelby they're out of Los angeles. They're probably one step below the blue and striped one in this video

I’d honestly take the replica I would not feel as bad driving it or modifying it. I couldn’t bring myself to drive a real one. So much history and sentimental value come with them. And they are way cheaper

But it's a 2012 continuation... so the actual answer is; neither.
I mean technically the continuation is a real Shelby, because it was made by Shelby. Same design and everything. It's as close as we (normal people like you and me) can get to owning a original Shelby.
