@@Heyu7her3I live in LA and I have two narrow chests for my family heirlooms. I’ve got them bolted down and I secured everything in it with museum glue. I’m sure there is a solution for his easel. He probably needs some kind secure kick leg in the back
My grandfather, uncle were master wood makers and I was fortunate to learn from them, so I’m only making a suggestion on what I could see in that short view; please reinforce the base, especially the crossmembers, it looked there was some sagging, possibly had very dry conditions, not enough care with waxing and nourishing the wood. I recommend a thin metal brace that no one will be able to see. I’m sure you’ve already fed the wood and it truly is a stunning easel. Regarding the frame, have you considered going with a dark paint or using balsa wood and carving it to match the details of the ceiling and rosette’s. With a dark stain, it would compliment the rest of everything. You’ve done an AMAZING masterpiece, I can’t recommend you enough!
@@NoOneHere2Day well it’s still an ingenious idea from whoever came up with it first; Lone is amazing and extremely talented either way so my original comment is still valid
Disagree. Conceptually, it would’ve made more sense for it to be a blank canvas used for a projector screen. I get that they’re going for a theme, but framed art just does not go on easels so to any painter or art student, this looks like "i went for an art theme but don't actually know how art works"
Drew! That's an awesome find! Love it! A very creative person you are Drew. I like it without the frame. The frame is beautiful too and I am sure you will find something else to use it for. I just love your home! It is so beautiful! I hope you weathered the storm well. Love Melissa in the mountains of Virginia. 🙏 ❤
Wow, now that’s innovative, it looks fabulous. The frame is perfect, adds a richness, elegance, and antique looking vintage. You’ve created such a warm, cozy, European beauty to your home. Brilliant, all you’ve done there.
I love the traditional/antique style so I would keep that exact gold frame on but I wanted to comment on your eye & imagination to transform anything into a piece of art is out of this world.
Love the frame as it suits the placement/use of the easel. Without the frame, I think it appears to blend into the room, not so visually dominating. I guess it depends if you want it to be a focal point or more subtle 🤔 Love your brilliant ideas, Drew.
Looks best with the frame. Would love to see a tutorial for how you put that on the TV if it was DIY!!! Would imagine it’s way cheaper than buying one of the tv frames being sold.
Art easel aka the original TV stand 😂 Ok, this is seriously giving me ideas for my living room. I have a Spanish Colonial with a rectangular living room and your makeovers are giving me new hope for my oddly shaped space!
When you mentioned on your channel about a month ago that you were going to mount your tv on an easle, I was shook! What a brilliant idea!!! It looks so good, Drew! I like it with a frame, but maybe try different types of frames until you find the perfect one. Looks like maybe the easle needs a bit of moisturizing with wax. BRILLIANT IDEA!! 💙😘
I'm so looking for an easel like that for my art studio. I cried sorta when you drilled un to this art piece ... But quickly tears turned to abject joy when I saw the results with the frame attached. How creative! You have mad skills! You did hit a huge jack pot!
Oh, with the frame, but I like Tae's suggestion of trying different frames. Like, the fanciest for the holidays, bare minimalism for a hot summer day, etc, etc...
I love the framed television. It looks so different and gorgeous. Televisions get way too much emphasis, it’s nice to see it more as a piece of art that blends into the room!
LOVE the idea of using the easel as a TV stand. Not sure the color of that TV frame goes with the dark iron though. I think it looks better without the frame.
The frame matches the esthetics of your home. Without the frame it gives a modern look which I don’t think was your intention. About 8 years ago, I was going to purchase one for my home. I don’ have a stand for it and you just reminded me how well it could look in my space. Great work.
Love it! Having a TV genuinely looking like a piece of art & not the centre piece of your living room is so perfect, plus it can be moved if & when you decide to move furniture about etc 👌
We recently remodeled our office & lost the place the TV had been living. I mentioned this idea when I saw how creative & successful it was for you & now our TV is safely secured to one of our easels from our photographic studio. Thank you for the many decor solutions you offer - you are the BEST!
I love this!!! Both ways are awesome. The frame makes it look very intentional and up level for sure. The no-frame is very minimal, so it depends on what look you're going for!
Definitely keep the TV framed, but a different one other than gold - a darker wood will look beautiful!

@@ggfhjgfdg354 Yes! 🤙🏻
This is the smartest idea for putting a TV in a room and not have it be overpowering. Great job Drew.
Brilliant! It’s such a cool look. Nice job!
Genius! Think I prefer this to the Samsung Frame (although my kids would knock this over in seconds)
What a unique idea!! 👍😊

That frame is a total compliment to the antique easel!!! Exquisite!!!
I think it is absolutely genius ! It is gorgeous and suits your decor perfectly and the mobility is so functional.

What a wonderful comment! So knowledgeable and respectful. Totally agree with the darker frame 🖼️
I agree but I know absolutely nothing about reinforcement. But the other stuff I envisioned and it would do justice.
What really cool observations and suggestions. I will keep that in mind if I also am fortunate enough to bag an easel like this one.
Such good observations on the frame you’re right it would make it so cohesive with the room decor !!

You MUST MUST MUST keep the frame!! It is absolute FIRE!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I LOVE THE FRAME AROUND IT! LOOKS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!
What a great idea! Love it WITH the frame! 💖🖼️ When you have a party, you can use the TV for art and music. You have such great taste. Love ya 🦊
This is the most Ingenous idea EVER!! It looks absolutely amazing with the frame! You’re a genius Lone 😍
He didn't come up with it. It's all over the internet.
@@NoOneHere2Day well it’s still an ingenious idea from whoever came up with it first; Lone is amazing and extremely talented either way so my original comment is still valid
@AaStyle I agree with your second comment, but your first comment doesn't apply.
No leave the frame!!!!!!!!!

Dear Drew...oh please keep the TV framed. I really like the gallery feel in the room. Hugs💞

Hi Drew, please keep the frame, it goes along with the easel like a finished decorated painting.
That’s so cool. ❤ it!
I like the idea of the frame, but I think a black one would look better and go more with the Spanish theme of the house 😊
It looks stunning with the frame omg😮
So stinkin cute. And the glimpse of Mathew Perry made my heart smile
Definitely with frame on. Drew, you just think outside the box SO WELL. I love you!
That's why I recommend buying what you love, because you will find a way to make it work. Great job Drew. I love the frame on the tv.
So much more elegant and fun with the frame on...love it💜💕💜💕💜

Great Drew! You're always making us think outside the box..Thanks!❤
Love the idea! And - with the frame for sure. It looks so much more harmonious this way.
I’m really happy to see a tv that is NOT above a fireplace, good on you! I’ve seen very pricey new easels for this purpose. 👏🏻
I literally said "WOW". That is so gorgeous and so creative.
I love the traditional/antique style so I would keep that exact gold frame on but I wanted to comment on your eye & imagination to transform anything into a piece of art is out of this world.
The frame on the TV really sets it off. Such a smart idea! Beautiful!!
I saw the sorry girls do this too!!! They did it for their office tv for when they have meetings!!! The frame makes it even more fitting
I love your style, creativity, and interest in repurposing and highlighting the beauty of old art
Love it with the frame. In my opinion, the frame compliments the traditional look & feel of the easel.
Love the frame as it suits the placement/use of the easel. Without the frame, I think it appears to blend into the room, not so visually dominating. I guess it depends if you want it to be a focal point or more subtle 🤔 Love your brilliant ideas, Drew.
Brilliant idea! I love it with the frame on!
looks fabulous. the frame really makes it look better.
Absolutely genius..unique...eye catching...conversation starter
Brilliant as usual 😍 I think the frame is too gilded but love it framed. Frameless is excellent in it's simplicity as well. Either way it's genius.
Looks best with the frame. Would love to see a tutorial for how you put that on the TV if it was DIY!!! Would imagine it’s way cheaper than buying one of the tv frames being sold.
Love the frame, please keep. The frame really juxtaposed the TV. Sort of a perfect analogy between past and present.. love you….
Gorgeous!! Yes, keep the frame! Fantastic idea!🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
That looks great, I love the framed version!
Love it with the frame, helps tie the modern to the vintage. Great idea!
As an artist and knowing how expensive those things are I'm sooooo jealous! Looks gorgeous!!

How cool ... A t.v. with seasonal embellishments! I'm so challenged in DIY decorating of my 900 sq ft apt. Thx fir the ideas!
I have been wanting to do this for a couple of years now. It’s such a great way to get the tv off the mantle.
Wonderful idea! Geez, you DO impress, Drew.

That is a genius idea.
I think a simpler frame would match the rest of the room. I love the idea of the easel. ❤
The removed frame look is giving Parisian Insustrial vibes. The framed look gives Bespoke Art Collection vibes. Very cool.❤
LOVE the idea of using the easel as a TV stand. Not sure the color of that TV frame goes with the dark iron though. I think it looks better without the frame.
Great find! Fantastic repurpose!
