No, mate. It's super generic and derivative. Also pathetic that they were a more-crucial-than-thou straight edge band that turned into a streetwear and weed band with the chode of a new singer.
George Noble, one of the best hardcore vocalist and his lyrics are fucking truthful and straight to the point. And Ignorance Never Dies is fucking awesome, one of the best hardcore albums of the past decade. I miss old YD.
Couldn't agree more with you, but do you know that George Noble (the vocalist in this video), also tours with a group called "Your Demise 2004". Pretty much your demise but just the good stuff! Their f'n amazing!
Just saw them last night on the Back To The Roots Tour with The Devil Wears Prada. Not very big in the States but after this tour they should be recognized. They're really good
I like both vocalists equally. Such different styles but both are amazing in their own ways. Can't wait to see these guys again next month with two of the best hardcore bands ever to exist.
Your Demise haven't fucking sold out, they have changed as a band. No band can enjoy sounding the same and playing similar stuff all the time, just because they've progressed and changed as a band does not make them sell outs. I saw them last night, the gig was mental just like they were before The Golden Age. YD SQUAD!
Just saw them lastnight on the Back to the Roots tour with TDWP. They're not very big in the States but i love them. After this tour they should be recognized.
saw them in Sheffield few weeks ago finally, been wanting to see them for about 2 years! so worth the wait, they were awesome. i love there old albums but i love the new stuff even more. awesome :)
@HungryFlyProductions kl first time i heard them was at a day to remember they put on a descent live performance i been into them since. the never say die has an awsome line up
I only found out about YD with their release of The Golden Age, now I have bought all the records backwards, so to me it's like the band keeps getting better!
@UrSmilesMakeMeSmile yeah i have, fairly recently on their headline tour. thought they were brilliant, they even surpassed parkway, who were on top form as usual
I like how the captions can get the lyrics FUCKING PERFECT to a HARDCORE SONG but any other video i get "o shizingizingar budigadadadadadada shesinwato"
playing this song on full volume while driving in your car with the windows down..............everyone loves it so much they invited the cops to come and listen to!
Do anyone understand that "these lights" is the only song like that on the album ? They didn't go pop punk. I heard the album preview the rest sounds just like it was meant to be put on "the kids we use to be" album. "these lights" was just one of those songs that bands like to try something new with.
@Frenchtrivium im pretty sure despite what the other guy said it was becuase, he didnt wanna tour the states(i think) and the rest of the band wanted bigger things.
It actually does matter, you either like the guy or you dont. I for one like them both but I could see how people dont like one of the two cause they sound totally different.
addicted to this song spit your rage, speak your fire, let the flames of hatred hit me. Burn me all you like let the flames lick higher It's all whats left that I need
I'm totally digging this! I love all kinds of metal and hardcore and this sorta reminds me of Stampin Ground. Possibly just because they're both english. But this is cool.
@deathofangel789 Too early to say really, haven't got many songs up, i reckon they will be good when they start playing shows. Just search them on facebook.
@HaventGotAGoodName Sam's vocals were a lot lower and more brutal sounding on the first tects album he did though, they don't sound that much like George's.
saw them the other weekend in Bristol with adtr and the architechts and they were pretty good prefered the other two though and adtr blew me away they were fucking AWESOME!!! xD
2020 anyone? I miss this Your Demise
Fucking aye
Yeah man dead real metalcore
@@josemachado4907 this isn't metalcore
George Noble has a new band called PURGE!
Bro for real. I feel old lmao
Most probably one of the best hardcore songs/album to come out of the uk in past 15 years
Fuck no, it's basically generic metalcore
No, mate. It's super generic and derivative. Also pathetic that they were a more-crucial-than-thou straight edge band that turned into a streetwear and weed band with the chode of a new singer.
I love how this album is mixed
yeeesss
You can clearly listen to that crunch on the bass tone, I fucking love it
@@irusu. ua-cam.com/video/tTM_ltQf6-A/v-deo.html
If you haven't checked it out, Chaosphere has a sick sound too
fucking miss old your demise
cmbkhc
It's so true!!!
This track ages like Modric, timeless.
The new your demise sucks! bring the old shit back!
THE OLD YD IS BACK! CHECK YOUR DEMISE 2004. GEORGE NOBLE ON VOCALS, PLAYING THE OLDIES
George Noble, one of the best hardcore vocalist and his lyrics are fucking truthful and straight to the point.
And Ignorance Never Dies is fucking awesome, one of the best hardcore albums of the past decade.
I miss old YD.
I from Russia, AND I LOVE THIS BAND!!
this band really AWESOME
the newest lead vocalist made them terrible, i hate to say. cus this album was insanely amazing.
I liked him a lot. When I saw them play about a month ago .
Couldn't agree more with you, but do you know that George Noble (the vocalist in this video), also tours with a group called "Your Demise 2004". Pretty much your demise but just the good stuff! Their f'n amazing!
The last vocalist destroy the essence of YD it's a full of shit,g.noble it's agressive and start a riot where he goes it's like we love
Nah I didn't mind him.until the cleans
fuck man
why did your demise have to leave hardcore
That's George Noble. He's the original vocalist but left before The Kids We Used To Be was written/ recorded
Just saw them last night on the Back To The Roots Tour with The Devil Wears Prada. Not very big in the States but after this tour they should be recognized. They're really good
I hardly remember there was a time when I liked Your Demise.
More than 10 years later, this song still fucks
I love how my mind set was "Ok, I will try get use to these guys so I can at least enjoy them at the Shikari gig" and now I can't stop listening... :D
I like both vocalists equally. Such different styles but both are amazing in their own ways. Can't wait to see these guys again next month with two of the best hardcore bands ever to exist.
ignorance never dies album is always my favorite one, lot of energy from Noble’s vocal
i still find myself looking up this song a few times a year. this song is just so nostalgic for me lmfao.
one of the best hardcore bands ever
Your Demise haven't fucking sold out, they have changed as a band. No band can enjoy sounding the same and playing similar stuff all the time, just because they've progressed and changed as a band does not make them sell outs. LOOK ME IN THE EYES, SWALLOW YA PRIDE. TELL ME WHAT YA THINK OF MEEEEE
i get to see Your Demise, Miss May I and The Devil Wears Prada on August 2nd in Dallas, GO THERE!!!!!!
and never continued
Great lyrics. Damn ferocious.
you made me spit coffee....thanks
no matter how much I love 'The kids we used to be...' Your Demise, George Noble will always be the better vocalist
TKWUTB was genius, Golden Age had a couple of jams and Cold Chillin' was still decent as fuck. Plus Ed still kills this song live
new yd sucks, entry lvl hc mixed with pop punk, nothing special, iam glad they finally split up
@HungryFlyProductions kl first time i heard them was at a day to remember they put on a descent live performance i been into them since. the never say die has an awsome line up
Why does everybody hate their new stuff so much? "The Kids We Used To Be" was a solid album.
Nah, it was trash. Even worse then derivative stuff like this.
Come to Chicago and your show will be remembered
sadly this band isn't together anymore, and the last couple years of the band, they were nothing like this,
remembercrutchy the original line up, with this vocalist tour as your demise 2004
i love the new stuff but i wish they would make an oldstyle album/EP again... just one. That would fill my heart with joy
Summer 2024 let's fucking goooooo 🤘🏻
It's been a long time since I listened to these guys...
So sick, I am literally listening to it all the time at the moment!
The amount of pure anger and rage in this song...
My god!
saw them support a day to remember and seein them again on the never say die tour
@joeisaflyingfish Apparently George didn't want to tour in the US.... that's just what I heard too I'm not sure if it was on youtube or on wikipedia.
@Cabbageness I'm most definetly going to see 'em again when i get the chance, fucking love that band. curious bout the new vocals
saw em last december-they were awesome. The crowd was nearly dead til these guys started their set
I only found out about YD with their release of The Golden Age, now I have bought all the records backwards, so to me it's like the band keeps getting better!
@ilovekeleokereke Trapped Under Ice is from Baltimore, Terror is from California, Your Demise isn't from the US but I'm guessing you knew that haha.
George Noble's new band is called rumour mill, haven't been out very long, check them out
2023, still here. French fan from another space and time I guess..
english metal is the future, we have so many goood upcoming bands.
your demise, architects, postmortem promises, via the void e.t.c.
I can't love Your Demise anymore than I do.
@UrSmilesMakeMeSmile
yeah i have, fairly recently on their headline tour. thought they were brilliant, they even surpassed parkway, who were on top form as usual
seeing them open for house vs hurricane in April will be so fucking good
I like how the captions can get the lyrics FUCKING PERFECT to a HARDCORE SONG but any other video i get "o shizingizingar budigadadadadadada shesinwato"
THIS is hardcore music!
@samlorenzcipher
probably agree with you from a musical point of view but BMTH had the advantage of having an amazing stage and light setup
This song is mint
the whole album is immense :D listened to it bare times already
@tommykinzz
Yeah, he's in some old school as hardcore band now. I don't remember what it's called though.
it cannot be unheard...
and paper trails, never a dull moment and a decade drifting
i miss this your demise
This should have ten times the views it does, so awesome!
playing this song on full volume while driving in your car with the windows down..............everyone loves it so much they invited the cops to come and listen to!
I loved this song!!!!!!
Though this is the old frontman, they do have a new one. Saw him front them at Colchester Arts Centre a month ago. Ja.

Priscilla
I love this as much as much as their new stuff, good shit.
cant fuckin wait for tuesday night, Your demise ADTR and architects fuck yeahhhh
this is music. music is made up of different sounds that make your ears feel nice. music has nothing to do with genres.

Seeing these next month :)
Do anyone understand that "these lights" is the only song like that on the album ? They didn't go pop punk. @Frenchtrivium im pretty sure despite what the other guy said it was becuase, he didnt wanna tour the states(i think) and the rest of the band wanted bigger things.
It doesn't need to be complex to be good. The chorus riff of this song is easy as fuck to play but its still fucking awesome to listen to
@UrSmilesMakeMeSmile ive seen them live they were amazing
It actually does matter, you either like the guy or you dont. I for one like them both but I could see how people dont like one of the two cause they sound totally different.
you made my day.
This just stays such a good song.
AGHHHH....they were so good here. Now they went and pulled A Day To Remember.
yup, they are playing farewell shows until march of 2014.
Saw this band back in April last year supporting Enter Shikari, they were fucking epic. =D
addicted to this song
spit your rage, speak your fire,
let the flames of hatred hit me.
Burn me all you like
let the flames lick higher
It's all whats left that I need

Seeing them tomorow.
I fucking loved when they played this song live! I LOVE THIS BAND!
I love this guy, he sounds badass and he is always wearing a COLTS cap!
I'm totally digging this! I love all kinds of metal and hardcore and this sorta reminds me of Stampin Ground. Possibly just because they're both english. But this is cool.
Guess youve seen them now.
So good.
I think he meant to say skylit drive or whatever cause Parkway Drive is bad ass and puts on one hell of a show
they both rock
yes they got a new one last year
@deathofangel789 Too early to say really, haven't got many songs up, i reckon they will be good when they start playing shows. Just search them on facebook.
saw them live with stick to your guns a few months ago. it was immense
this is awesome. I like the new album and the clean vocals don't bother me, but this...wow.
Love that two step!
@HaventGotAGoodName
Sam's vocals were a lot lower and more brutal sounding on the first tects album he did though, they don't sound that much like George's.
Man I fucking love this band.
saw them the other weekend in Bristol with adtr and the architechts and they were pretty good prefered the other two though and adtr blew me away they were fucking AWESOME!!! xD
