Hope you all enjoy the new Modded Playthrough! Mod info is all in the description, and here's the full Modded Satisfactory Playlist: ua-cam.com/video/wQjtkgvA-bo/v-deo.html
Kibitz: "There are SO many foundations, there are SO many possibilities for building!" Me: has violent flashback to world so filled with so many foundations that it lags every 10 seconds.... Looking forward to the new play through, can't wait to see what it holds!
Imagine someone just landing on your planet and coming out of their pod and just saying: hello everyone I’m kibitz and welcome back to satisfactory. And just starts building
I like to think factorio and satisfactory players are rare in gaming communities in that despite their differences, they share in the same pleasures and can appreciate the joys of seeing a well-optimised production line flowing. There's no hate, just mates.
You conveyor wall mod is kinda unnecessary since the Moar Factory mod has the "ITEM WALLY" and "PIPE WALLY" that is basically the same. They are in the Factory tab in the Moar Factory Tablet. I think they are even better cause they look cooler and have some light in them (as well as a little door that opens for the conveyor to pass through). There is also a fluid Tank that let's you SEE the fluid inside (since it's transparent). Imagine the beauty. Let him see this so he doesn't miss it.
the thing with the wally is that in high numbers it causes a lot of lag. Although Kibitz has a much better computer than me, so he may not have a problem with it. But he also builds much larger bases than I do.
I think the conveyor wall mod adds a bit of diversity in the build material, as you can think of the black whole as flaps that would prevent the outside from getting in, kinda like at an airport
@@boneheadinc.6237 I believe some other structures too, not only doors. But, yeah, not everything, but mostly crashes using paintguns are caused by aiming at "Moar" stuff :)
@Macio Neves - You just saved me a headache! Kept experiencing this and didn't know what was causing it. Good to know. For now just using the Micro Manage mod to match the color to other buildings.
The quality of models for the modded structures were always really impressive but holy cow they’ve come a long way too! Totally blown away by the detail level on stuff like the silo and double doors and how well the artists matched the Satisfactory look and feel. This play through is going to be so epic
I see the Moar mod is out of date and not advised to be installed. That sucks, I've wanted to try it for awhile, and now it's too late. Bummer. Thanks for the video though! Cheers!
Actually no the clones happen when you play offline you'll notice that if you play offline your player gets a number like 250 instead of your account name
@Ari Caruthers I'm not sure why it happens. Just my theory. I might be a conflict with another mod or maybe with Steam. The clone was created after I restarted the game and it happened on every restart until I removed MoarFactory.
@@StevenMcGregor The clone is the offline or online state of that entity. As you will notice you can only have 1 clone, unless you have a friend that has joined you're server. Then in that case their entity will remain in you're world as a clone.
Omg, I've been waiting for you to start a new playthrough of this game for so long. You vanilla game has just gotten too massive for me to really enjoy.
I think you showing off the modded items is a lot more interesting than always building the vanilla stuff every playthrough. I really like how the extra building items in MoarFactory makes it much easier to make the kinds of factories you really want.
A little bit of info about the refined power mod: it includes more than just some wind turbines. It also includes a modular power system, water turbines, solar panels, a Dyson Sphere, and nuclear fusion (as opposed to the vanilla fission) reactors (which don't generate nuclear waste), and a new resource. It is one of the most in-depth mods aside from FICSIT Networks.
Hi Kibitz, I'm really looking forward to this playthrough! I see you're using the Item Hopper mod, but I would highly recommend it's sister mod the Item Dispenser. It lets you walk up to it and press E and it will dispense one stack (or more if you customise it) of whatever is inside the machine. It makes my life so much easier, when I'm doing big builds I just put an item dispenser filled with concrete near me and whenever I run out I just waddle over to the dispenser and my inventory is filled up in moments! I much prefer it to using storage containers because you don't need to drag or drop if you only want a few stacks and it has a visual representation of what item is in the dispenser so you don't need to make belts out of your storage chests to see what's inside them!
Thanks for the list of mods. I'd already installed a few, but your list is far more comprehensive and includes a few things I didn't think about. Now, if only someone could come up with vertical splitters/mergers.
I'd recommend wireless power so that you can not only power like 10-20 machines with one wireless power pole, but also being able to wirelessly throw power in any direction so long as you have the giant towers. And I'd recommend item teleporter for easy travel if need be. I know alot of other mods that'd be cool. And if you know how to code the Ficsit Networks mod can do alot if you're willing to know
I was actually a little disappointed in how far apart they had to be to not interfere with each other, but hey, it's still early game automatic power, so I'll deal with it. _Anything_ automatic is better than the vanilla biomass burners.
That silo should be remade into cargo rocket launcher, you would place unwanted stuff like nuclear waste and launch it into space, of course you would need to fuel rocket each time and rebuild rockets because they would not get back. That would be epic.
You can't have the tablet out when interacting with objects, including the Moar Factory ones. Also, highly recommend the farming mod for more base types, and the furniture mod for filling in gaps and giving the factory a more lived in feel.
Those wind power turbines would have been a god send in vanilla had they been early tier 2 or late T1. I freaking hate leaves!!! I am super excited about new Kibz LP. Have all the fun, Brother!
I know I'm behind and there's a couple of episodes to this now but I have been waiting and waiting for you to do more satisfactory to the point where I want to watch more than one episode so I let you make a bunch of episodes first now I'm the winner and I get to binge watch more satisfactory from my favourite satisfactory builder. Woooo
Oh boy....... with those conveyor walls and floors..... Kibz can cover a *ton* of conveyor belts and then the game won’t have to worry about processing all the stuff on the conveyor belts..
You should do as many satisfactory episodes until you've completed the game. People have been waiting for ages for this series of gameplay and I think you should give them a good lineup in exchange for the amount of time they've waited
Yea episode one is better than my base after 6 months of building, researching, exploring, dying rinse soak repeat. Fun mods and excellent starter (hmmmm) base. Job well done thanks for the great vid as always.
best structure in vanilla game i would say is the large storage. with 2 inputs and 2 outputs it makes it the best multi use structure. works as a merger - splitter and buffer , its just better because it dont leave a blank spot on the conveyors when splitting like normal splitters do , and this way keep capacity on belts at 100 %
Awesome the satisfactory modding scene is finally getting some more sizeable mods. This is going to get me to reinstall the game to try some of them out.
Kibz.. Kibz. if you don't have it already, you should add "Cheap trains" they are balanced for like being cheap at the start but also a reduced capacity they are sooooo good for early game world infrastructure.
One of the most useful mods that you are not using is "Slow it down" ... allows you to define how many items a conveyor is moving.. hugely helpful in load balancing with fewer machines.
You gotta get Ficsit Networks, when it comes to building a circuit breaker system you can replace a wall full of circuit breaker wall power poles with a control panel among other cool things
Watching this slightly drunk while taking a dump and am completely confused as to why I'm suddenly dreaming about satisfactory while watching satisfactory.
Once they are done actually making the game, they need to start just buying the rights to some of these construction mods (like the huge doors) and put them in vanilla (even as a toggle on/off option). Looks like they probably just have to debug and optimize them and they would be good to go
Hope you all enjoy the new Modded Playthrough!

By the way, the Silo has a decent amount of storage space and the Bulls is a reskinned Explorer. Both from the MoarFactory mod
Thanks Caelan, I was about to ask if the Silo had any function or was only for decoration :)
Does the silo stop radiation
It's too bad this mod is dead, structural solutions is decent but doesn't quite fully replace it
Imagine someone just landing on your planet and coming out of their pod and just saying: hello everyone I’m kibitz and welcome back to satisfactory. And just starts building

Basically a video about kibz having an identity crisis
On the first episode
This is gonna be one hell of a season
Just a warning: don't point the paint gun to any of Moar Factory buildings, or the game will crash
idk
Only at the doors, walls, windows etc works without a problem. But pointing at a door crashes, thats correct.
