i recently just bought a tufting gun and was wondering if you have any knowledge on what kind of yarn (or what) you would use to make bath mats that you could step out of the shower on. or if that’s even possible!! your videos have helped me so much so i was hoping you’d know a little bit about this !!
I have yet to create a rug that is machine washable. But I would say that if you use a really strong glue like AAT-1132, wet feet shouldn't be a big issue

Hi 😄 I’m really looking to get into tufting and I have the means to purchase everything, but I’m still trying to go the cheapest (yet reliable) route as I’m only 17 so I don’t have That much money lol
Do you have suggestions for shears? Also, I was wondering if you’ve had any experience/know anyone with experience with the Spider cut pile gun from Tuft Love? I thought the deal was really good without spending $300 on the gun alone.. Thank you!! I love your rugs, they’re really inspiring to me

One Question: Do you have any advice when Tufting close to the frame? I find that it being so close to the frame causes a lot of tears and an uneven tufting pattern so I tend to not tuft near it but worry I am wasting space
I try to leave a few inches around the perimeter because of this. But if your fabric is stretched really tight, you should be able to tuft about an inch away. Be sure to apply the same amount of pressure you would if you were tufting toward the middle. And go slow if you need to :)
Does a loop pile carpet needs to be trimmed?? Or there's is benefit if yo do it??
