Nice presentation and good video, This makes sense only if you are installing solar panels on land, for roof top I would not recommend that, we need to understand that on terrace top or roof top you are not only getting power but at the same time you are consuming less power as well, when your panels create shadow over terrace, the terrace is 10 degrees or more cooler than direct sunlight, now you can see if you want too raise 10 degrees of geyser water in 30 minutes you need atleast 2kw geyser, you can do the math now and see if your rooms below terrace have shadow now on terrace, then how much cool they will be plus you will be saving good amount of units in electricity and it is above 2.5% for sure :) so this is not suitable for residential places.

This is bull$hit analysis. This doesn't apply for Indian consumers as most of the electricity is generated during the afternoon and you will end up missing majority of that generation. Indians prefer net metering system which is connected to the power supply grid and no matter when you generate electricity or when you consume it, your monthly bill is not affected, so this morning and evening higher consumption point is invalid. Cold panels can have upto 2% overall efficiency increased which is already lost when you're not generating electricity in the afternoon peak time( if panels are installed vertically). This research is based on some particular geographical area focusing on a particular sun trajectory and consumer requirements which nowhere applies to Indian subcontinent
