Hi, I'm also Ukrainian. Was born and grew up in Donetsk region, Kramatorsk. For my native town, the war began almost 9 years ago. It was occupied, heavily bombed, and then freed by the Ukrainian army in 2014. It was rebuilt, renewed, and resurrected from the ashes. Now, it's being bombed once again with artillery and ballistic missiles. I also used to go to university in Kharkiv and lived there for 5 years. Also dear to my heart place with so many memories. And for many years now, I've been living in Toronto. I love Canada, Canadians are amazing people with beautiful souls. But also, I will never forget or abandon my Motherland. I'm volunteering here as well as much as I can. Found an amazing volunteer organization here, Canadian Battalion for Ukraine. Doing myself small things that, together with so many people, make a huge change - is something that helps me not to lose my mind... This year was a nightmare. But it made us strong, united, creative, and supportive, it made us feel our values, our sense of dignity, our culture, our language, our cultural and historical heritage, our sense of humor. Reminded us the real value of life, freedom, democracy, and independence. The price our people paid for it is enormous. But it made all those values priceless and never to be forgotten.
Greetings from Odesa . Thank you for your interest in the war and our struggle for our freedom. And thank you for spreading information about Ukraine. Glory to Ukraine!💙💛🇺🇦

Was crying the whole time while watching this. I am a Canadian-Ukrainian born in Germany, but have a lot of family in Ukraine and try to visit often. Have not been able to go to Ukraine since the “plandemic” 🤬 and now this war. If it was not for the small kids I would go, but doing what I can from here in Ontario. True words of the song “люди ми тільки тоді коли дуже сильно любимо» ( «we are human only when we love very strongly”) and russians have proven that they are not capable of love. We have relatives in russia who believe all the propaganda 🤯
Thank you so much for visiting Ukraine during the war, for your support and sharing the info about us. Goosebumps while watching... Eager for the next episodes!

Thank you for visiting! It's important to not forget about the war. Just 2 days ago I heard 2 explosions in my city (in Kryvyi Rih - the home city of our presedent) and thankfully to our soldiers and to the european governments that was our air-defence systems work and nobody got hurt!
I cried through the whole video. Can you believe it's been a year ? I can't. It's been the longest and the shortest year at the same time. I don't even know how that is possible. I want to thank you every person who opened their heart for Ukraine. It wouldn't be possible without every single of us. There's a long road beforehand but we all know we can do it, because whole world united for Ukraine, for freedom and dignity 💛💙
Thank you for this video! Some moments made my crying, especially when you compared Ukrainian girls and Polish ones.. you know this is unfair reality we live in.. anyway, we are staying strong and believe in the best! I personally stay in Kyiv and I am full of incredible power being here at this moment.. Glory to Ukraine 🇺🇦
Your remark was kind of strange. Comparing two two groups of girls doing different things is like apples and oranges. In Warsaw you would also find Ukrainians who try to live normal and do not want to think non-stop about the war. Sometimes they go to clubs, bars, they sing and have fun too. Why not. Poles have also harder time and stress because of the war, our government do the right thing, per capita Poles help a lot, so maybe do not be shocked or disappointed next time when seeing people dancing and collecting money on the same time.
thank you so much for showing us! it's so overwhelming to see, i'm so happy that the world stands with us, that we are not abandoned, not alone in this tragedy. when i see such videos i'm somehow even more proud of our people, it's like my love for my homeland grows. and me, and all our people, are so grateful and thankful for the support you give us! 💙💛

Oh man I love the point of view the way it's shooted! As Ukrainian I'm glad to see that visitor can feel pretty comfy only knowing the global language. I hope you'll see Ukraine in a peacetime soon
Interesting comment I don’t know if you and realize how much Polish people not just in Poland, but in the United States and other places on earth, have a line with Ukraine, because we have common history. Just because somebody’s dancing and having normal life going on, does not mean anything about actually being the biggest supporter of Ukrainian fight against tyranny and Muscovy.
Agree. I’m Ukrainian and a mother of two baby boys. Poland gave my family a shelter on those first few the most horrible days. And I will always be grateful for this to every Polish! I sincerely happy that your country and people doesn’t know what the war is and have a possibility to live a normal cheerful life❤️
Excellent report.. I have always wondered too how all the displaced Ukrainian families who had to leave home jobs etc to move to a safer part of the country survive.. I mean financially. All the voluntary organizations and the authorities must be so well organized to deal with it. You show that spirit here which must also be what fuels those families to help themselves relocate and help each other. Ukrainians have amazed the world in their positive attitude, resilience and courage in the face of the unimaginable horrors that have been inflicted in them. The Lviv newspaper is great. Thank you for letting us know about it and the work they do.
Thank you very much for your visits and for your support, we really appreciate it. I am from Bila Tserkva (Kyiv region), but now I live in Portugal. Thank you very much for your work❤️🩹

Good video, bro! I really appreciate that foreigners start to understand Ukrainians and sharing thoughts same as we have here. And not sharing narratives that applies to ukrainians by another countries, specially rusia. One of the most important victories of Ukraine is happening now in information field, that we broke paradigm when rusia explains Ukraine to the world: "who we are?", "what we want?" etc.

The news show devastating scene of Ukraine, especially the East region. The West Ukraine to me is pretty much intact, far better than I thought. I'm glad that the Ukrainians are strong. It seems that everyone is still going about his or her life in good spirit. Great to see that life goes on.
Total devastation is limited by the range of ruzki barrel artillery. Luckily, cruise & ballistic missiles alone are not enough to level cities in the deep rear.
You are so true, that Canada has the biggest Ukrainian diaspora. People were leaving Ukraine after 1945 (some, who could find a way to) to save their lives from Russian/Stalin’s terror. Big thanks to Canada. Same as the whole country. So, thank you❤. Support to the channel 👍

Chorus: We are people only then. When we love with all our strength. When we in love, only then. We can be called people again. We can be called people again.
How much more to tell. Give me a lazy call. Even when you will fall. Even when burns like hell.
Even when just about. You, and not someone you know. You're will never run out. In my veins you flow.

Poland is awesome! Thank you wonderful people who opened their hearts and homes!
Thank you for this video! I’m from Mykolaiv too, now in USA..
Slava Ukraine! 🇺🇦♥️
I’m from Ukraine! I appreciate you spreading a word about our country and our fight for freedom happening now. ❤
My heart melts 😢💛💙so many helpful, brilliant, intelligent and generous people are helping Ukraine these days. Thank you so much for your work and support, Dan. I miss my home in Ukraine a lot... haven't been there for almost a year now, miss my family and friends. It has been 3 months since I moved to Canada. Every day the only thing I'm wishing for this war to be over. Слава Україні!
Thank you very much for you support, this is very importent for us. Glory to Ukraine!
Thank you for your report and a courage to go to the county that is in war. My husband and I accidentally clicked on this video, and watched it with a such interest! Ukrainian is our mother land, and even though we live far away, our hearts are with our Ukrainian people. Thank you for covering and we will wait for the coming report from other cities. Please be safe and good luck! Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts!
Subscribed to your channel and shared it with our friends. 👍
I would like to express an absolute appreciation & gratitude to a heartwarming support and help all the Poles provide to Ukrainians 🇵🇱
in my country Latvia we have doctor from Nikolaev , very good doctor like her ,stay strong
Mykolaiv, not Nikolaev)

Thanks vitaliy! Just published Kyiv episode yesterday:)
@@TheNewTravel just watched it! Fantastic! Hope to meet you in Kyiv one day! Thank you! :)
I'm from Crimea too, tho for now I live in Dnipro. Thanks for sharing this information, thanks for all help and support. I think it has great influence on our spirit of resistance
I am really thankful for sharing this video. Ukraine is doing right protecting their people and land. I'm just proud to be Ukrainian, to be one of Braves!
Glory to Ukraine & Glory to the Ukrainian heroes!!!🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦💙💛
Thanks for your video! I'm Polish but I haven't been to the region since 2017. I want this stupid, senseless war to stop, the Ruskies to retreat behind the Ural mountains forever, and I want to visit Ukraine.
Thank you so much for creating a content in English about my country, so English speaking people can find out about the situation in Ukraine not only from the news, but from this realistic and touching video, they can feel Ukrainian spirit, see the beauty of our cities, and realize that Ukraine is a modern country with smart and conscious people, reach culture and big potential and it deserves all possible help from the world to survive and bring a lot of light to this world in the future 🙏🌠
Thank you, I love Lviv. I myself from Carpathians and while I am safe in the 🇺🇸, but my country being destroyed hurts me so badly.
I'm from Kremenchuk it's Central Ukraine, thank you so much for supporting Ukraine. It is so precious that you didn't got scared and came to us, it is dangerous here, we are really hospitable people and always glad to have guests (except russians now of course)
Hello! I am also Ukrainian. I'm currently in Scotland but my heart is in Ukraine. THANK YOU for your attention to our country and all that you've done. That's very important for us, Ukrainians, to get that help from other countries. We appreciate that a lot 💙💛
Hi great video. So worthwhile . Keeping Ukraine front and centre. Greetings from Australia. 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
I totally agree, regardless of your ethnicity, you just choose to be ukrainian. If you respect the culture, the language, you are ukrainian
Thanks for your visit to Ukraine. It is so important for us. Slava Ukraini!
I'm from Mariupol and it's really pleasant to watch your videos. Thank you for the support 🙏🇺🇦❤️
This street signing is very touching because of the lyrics:
We are people only when we love very much.
Only when we love, we can be called "people".
I appreciate you coming and visiting my country during the war, you’re really brave man! Many thanks for all the kind words and help. I would like to make a small correction though on 17:33 - Lviv was actually hit by russian missiles several times during the war and many times in Lviv region. Anyway, thank you for the great video!
Nice you added street singers at the end . Good words of a song -" we remain humans only when we love as much as we can , only then we can call ourselves humans " . We Ukrainians really love life , our country, singing, helping , creating , and live life to the fullest ❤️🔥 thank you for your courage to come here and show our life now
This video felt very empathetic. That is a rare thing these days. Thank you for your video and I wish I can go visit Ukraine at some point again!
It is impossible to express how grateful we are to all these people and volunteers who support Ukraine! You're awesome!
God bless, guide, and protect you, Dan. Glory to Ukraine!
Hello Dan, I haven’t commented for quite a while, and to be honest haven’t watch some of your recent videos. I’m so glad I decided to click on and watch todays. Thank you for bring the reality of the Ukrainian situation back to us here in Canada. You did a fantastic job working with grassroots individuals and groups there to share their stories. I look forward to seeing more. Peace and Calm. 👍🏻😎🇺🇦🇨🇦
Very moving video. Parts of it brought tears to my eyes. Joe is amazing and has adapted to the culture so well. His reporting is much appreciated. My parents came to America from western Ukraine after WW2 and I got to live the Ukrainian life so I understand all that you do. I pray for all Ukrainians and try to donate and assist, but I feel I can do more. Thank you for great reporting and I hope you continue to tell the world how the resilience of the Ukrainians will prevail! God Bless you.

Thank you for visiting! It's important to not forget about the war. Just 2 days ago I heard 2 explosions in my city (in Kryvyi Rih - the home city of our presedent) and thankfully to our soldiers and to the european governments that was our air-defence systems work and nobody got hurt!
Beautiful message about beautiful people who are defending their country. Stay safe in your journeys.
I am happy that there are such people like you that have interest about Ukraine 🌻💙💛
Thanks VoKa! There are many people around the world supporting Ukraine 🌎🇺🇦
@@TheNewTravel Hi brother super videos 👍✊
Yes and we are appreciate it so much
But nobody can stop this terrorist attack. Almost one year Russian are killing us
Thank you for this video!
Such a touching and sincere video and especially the people in it. thank you for visiting Ukraine and sharing this. it is really important. Glory to Ukraine :)
Oh man I love the point of view the way it's shooted! As Ukrainian I'm glad to see that visitor can feel pretty comfy only knowing the global language. I hope you'll see Ukraine in a peacetime soon
You are amazing. Thank you everyone for supporting Ukraine. We will never forget it❤️ I am from Gostomel (near Bucha).
I sincerely happy that your country and people doesn’t know what the war is and have a possibility to live a normal cheerful life❤️
I agree, I’m not sure why he said that, that sounds weird.
Polish people should live normal life too, it is one of the thing our defenders fight!
Thank you very much for your work❤️🩹
Thank you for exploring Ukraine! You are brave 🫶
Amazing report. Merci beaucoup for showing the life in our city as it is❤. Chanteurs des rues sont très populaire ici
It takes a lot of courage to go into these situations. I think that you are doing a great job man, stay safe.
Thank you for your visit and this video. I was watching your channel before and I'm really surprised that you have decided to visit Ukraine during the war. Thanks for bringing attention to this topic, its very very important to us.
I love ❤ your channel, I have to say these video of a Birds Eye on the ground reporting view have been some of the most interesting, inspiring work that you done so far in your young life. As a Montrealer I thank you and love a different view that you honour us viewers with.
Much appreciated John :)
Hello from Lviv! Thanks for showing our city, for support! Much appreciated. This truly is fight against darkest evil. Though the price for Ukrainins is beyond any words or heights. Waiting for Peremoha.
Be brave like Ukraine 🇺🇦♥️
Good video, bro! I really appreciate that foreigners start to understand Ukrainians and sharing thoughts same as we have here. And not sharing narratives that applies to ukrainians by another countries, specially rusia.
One of the most important victories of Ukraine is happening now in information field, that we broke paradigm when rusia explains Ukraine to the world: "who we are?", "what we want?" etc.
Thanks for showing Ukraine. You’re a nice guy.
You are such a kind soul. I have been watching many of your previous videos and each of them was full of a special vibe, which relates to every city. This one is not an exception, it shows the power of the people of my country, the strength of spirit and aspiration to be happy. You showed all the peculiarities of social, cultural and political aspects so precisely, the ideas shared are marvellous, I am trully amazed by your work! Can't wait for your next videos about Ukraine as well as Canada and many others. Thank you so much for creating the fundraising process, it's what Ukrainian people always need. You share the info that is crucially important nowadays, you help Ukraine so much💙💛
Really nice to watch. The way you put all the information is calm (even it's all about the war) and sincere if I may say. Well done! Слава Україні! 🇺🇦
hello from lugansk! thanks for visiting our country!
Great video, loved that, thank you for coming to Ukraine❤
the help of foreigners is immense. i haven't even realized before watching this video how much it was. Ukraine still resists thanks to SO many people, who are doing their jobs, who are volunteering, who come here from abroad, live their homes to be helpful here. thanks to you the world hears us 💙💛
thank you so much!
Luckily, cruise & ballistic missiles alone are not enough to level cities in the deep rear.
thank you 🙏 cheers from Ukraine ✌🏻
You are so true, that Canada has the biggest Ukrainian diaspora. People were leaving Ukraine after 1945 (some, who could find a way to) to save their lives from Russian/Stalin’s terror. Big thanks to Canada. I know our people there had an opportunity to save their traditions, to keep language (Ukrainian Sunday schools are common) and the connection with their Motherland🇺🇦; and now they help a lot. Same as the whole country. So, thank you❤. Support to the channel 👍

27:31
people singing song of Boombox (Бумбокс) People (Люди)
translate of that mome
Chorus:
We are people only then.
When we love with all our strength.
When we in love, only then.
We can be called people again.
We can be called people again.
Whole song lyrics:
Once you'll ask me of course
So why I'm with you?
I said, nobody like you.
Could be found on this earth.
I was thinking, walking, and behold.
Few words I've found, that's all.
Spread them between the girls.
That those words, are now yours.
Even when I'm not myself.
You're anyway with me.
That's why you're -mine, girl
That's why I'm with you.
Even when I'm shouting.
Even when you're crying
Barking of dogs everywhere.
In the midst of despair.
Even when pain like you dying
And no strength to endure.
You will embrace me for sure.
And without the wings I'm flying.
All the troubles in spite.
When we both like one,
You're mine, wrong or right.
That's why I'm with you.
That's why I'm with you.
Chorus:
We are people only then.
When we love with all our strength.
When we in love, only then.
We can be called people again.
We can be called people again.
How much more to tell.
Give me a lazy call.
Even when you will fall.
Even when burns like hell.
Even when just about.
You, and not someone you know.
You're will never run out.
In my veins you flow.
Even when pain like you dying
And no strength to endure.
You will embrace me for sure.
And without the wings I'm flying.
All the troubles in spite.
When we both like one,
You're mine, wrong or right.
That's why I'm with you.
That's why I'm with you.
Chorus:...(x 2)
...people.
Once you've asked me.
Why I'm with you?
I said, no more like you.
Could be found in the world.
I was thinking, walking, and behold.
Few words I've found and that's all.
Spread them between the girls.
That those words, are now yours.
Chorus:
Thank you very much for visiting Ukraine and supporting us in this way! You are so brave! ❤
