You are Russian
I’m eastern Ukrainian from the Donetsk region. I want to thank every person who helps us in any way: money, volunteering, spreading news about the war. We really appreciate it… Thank you guys😭🙏
If you support Kiev, how are your Russian speaking neighbours in Donetsk enjoying the shelling of their city.
@@gigie555 ruzzians are shelling
What do you mean if you support Kyiv (not Kiev stupid)? There is not if. The other side came to kill us all.
Every one is trying to help, including Russian people, this war must trop now and should have never started.
@@gigie555 It is not about supporting Kyiv, it is about supporting own country. Less then 30 people died in 2021, to compare with tens thousands of people all over dead because of russian agression. Ukrainian are amazing people just like other people around the world But Zelenskyy’s Neo Nazism Regime is the real enemy of Ukraine which made Ukraine a battlefield & Ukrainian a tool between Russia & West.

@@TheNewTravel Come to Russia and find out the difference, otherwise you are a coward. We have a lot of Ukrainians and foreigners here, all live peacefully and friendly. But if you are afraid , then you live in a world of false propaganda .
I was crying. I'm ukrainian, and still stay in my hometown in 50 km far from the battle line. The war is around, it poisons your everyday life and you even can't pay much attention how it ruins everything outside your body and inside your soul - the brain blocks it to survive. But seeing it all from the other side, helps to accept how harmful it is, to cry a bit, and then to became much stronger to resist it all.
@Sonik Kis I'd better say "fuck putin", who really did it. Donbass is also a part of Ukraine. And it's the first part of Ukraine that suffered from russian aggression, in the modern history.

It may sound strange but there is one thing I am thankful for during this war. This war showed who the Ukrainians are. Earlier people from all over the world could hardly differentiate us from the russians. But we are a separate powerful nation, we are warriors, we are invincible. We are standing for our country, our culture and our language. The price we pay is extremely high but there is no other way out. Thank you for showing my city and thank you for supporting Ukraine during this time.

I’m from Ukraine! I appreciate you spreading a word about our country and our fight for freedom happening now. ❤
Was crying the whole time while watching this. I am a Canadian-Ukrainian born in Germany, but have a lot of family in Ukraine and try to visit often. Have not been able to go to Ukraine since the “plandemic” 🤬 and now this war. If it was not for the small kids I would go, but doing what I can from here in Ontario. True words of the song “люди ми тільки тоді коли дуже сильно любимо» ( «we are human only when we love very strongly”) and russians have proven that they are not capable of love. We have relatives in russia who believe all the propaganda 🤯
Hi, I'm also Ukrainian. Was born and grew up in Donetsk region, Kramatorsk. For my native town, the war began almost 9 years ago. It was occupied, heavily bombed, and then freed by the Ukrainian army in 2014. It was rebuilt, renewed, and resurrected from the ashes. Now, it's being bombed once again with artillery and ballistic missiles.
I also used to go to university in Kharkiv and lived there for 5 years. Also dear to my heart place with so many memories.
And for many years now, I've been living in Toronto. I love Canada, Canadians are amazing people with beautiful souls. But also, I will never forget or abandon my Motherland. I'm volunteering here as well as much as I can. Found an amazing volunteer organization here, Canadian Battalion for Ukraine. Doing myself small things that, together with so many people, make a huge change - is something that helps me not to lose my mind... This year was a nightmare. But it made us strong, united, creative, and supportive, it made us feel our values, our sense of dignity, our culture, our language, our cultural and historical heritage, our sense of humor. Reminded us the real value of life, freedom, democracy, and independence. The price our people paid for it is enormous. But it made all those values priceless and never to be forgotten.
in my country Latvia we have doctor from Nikolaev , very good doctor like her ,stay strong

I appreciate you coming and visiting my country during the war, you’re really brave man! Many thanks for all the kind words and help. I would like to make a small correction though on 17:33 - Lviv was actually hit by russian missiles several times during the war and many times in Lviv region. Anyway, thank you for the great video!
Interesting comment I don’t know if you and realize how much Polish people not just in Poland, but in the United States and other places on earth, have a line with Ukraine, because we have common history. Just because somebody’s dancing and having normal life going on, does not mean anything about actually being the biggest supporter of Ukrainian fight against tyranny and Muscovy.
Agree. I’m Ukrainian and a mother of two baby boys. Poland gave my family a shelter on those first few the most horrible days. And I will always be grateful for this to every Polish! I sincerely happy that your country and people doesn’t know what the war is and have a possibility to live a normal cheerful life❤️
I agree, I’m not sure why he said that, that sounds weird.
Polish people should live normal life too, it is one of the thing our defenders fight!
This video felt very empathetic. That is a rare thing these days. Thank you for your video and I wish I can go visit Ukraine at some point again!
This street signing is very touching because of the lyrics:
We are people only when we love very much.
Only when we love, we can be called "people".

You are such a kind soul. I have been watching many of your previous videos and each of them was full of a special vibe, which relates to every city. This one is not an exception, it shows the power of the people of my country, the strength of spirit and aspiration to be happy. I love ❤ your channel, I have to say these video of a Birds Eye on the ground reporting view have been some of the most interesting, inspiring work that you done so far in your young life. As a Montrealer I thank you and love a different view that you honour us viewers with.
Much appreciated John :)
Thank you for this video! Some moments made my crying, especially when you compared Ukrainian girls and Polish ones.. you know this is unfair reality we live in.. anyway, we are staying strong and believe in the best! I personally stay in Kyiv and I am full of incredible power being here at this moment.. Glory to Ukraine 🇺🇦
Your remark was kind of strange. Comparing two two groups of girls doing different things is like apples and oranges. In Warsaw you would also find Ukrainians who try to live normal and do not want to think non-stop about the war. Sometimes they go to clubs, bars, they sing and have fun too. Why not.
Poles have also harder time and stress because of the war, our government do the right thing, per capita Poles help a lot, so maybe do not be shocked or disappointed next time when seeing people dancing and collecting money on the same time.
Thank you for visiting! It's important to not forget about the war. Just 2 days ago I heard 2 explosions in my city (in Kryvyi Rih - the home city of our presedent) and thankfully to our soldiers and to the european governments that was our air-defence systems work and nobody got hurt!

Thank you for your visit and this video. I was watching your channel before and I'm really surprised that you have decided to visit Ukraine during the war. Thanks for bringing attention to this topic, its very very important to us.
Excellent report.. I have always wondered too how all the displaced Ukrainian families who had to leave home jobs etc to move to a safer part of the country survive.. I mean financially. All the voluntary organizations and the authorities must be so well organized to deal with it. You show that spirit here which must also be what fuels those families to help themselves relocate and help each other. Ukrainians have amazed the world in their positive attitude, resilience and courage in the face of the unimaginable horrors that have been inflicted in them. The Lviv newspaper is great. Thank you for letting us know about it and the work they do.

Poland and Ukraine also have difficult history, but I will be forever thankful to the polish nation for putting aside all the arguments we have and helping Ukrainians as much as they did! Thanks for everything ❤!
In 1939 Lwow had 90% Polish population. After Stalin's annexation and ethnic cleansings it became 100% Ukrainian
The news show devastating scene of Ukraine, especially the East region. The West Ukraine to me is pretty much intact, far better than I thought. I'm glad that the Ukrainians are strong. It seems that everyone is still going about his or her life in good spirit. Great to see that life goes on.
Total devastation is limited by the range of ruzki barrel artillery. Luckily, cruise & ballistic missiles alone are not enough to level cities in the deep rear.
