- Hi guys! Today we gonna show you our $125 rent apartment in Ukraine. It is a 52 square meters apartment with one bedroom and a living room. It is a typical apartment in Ukraine and other post-soviet countries. Also, I show you how the building looks inside, its entrance, and the elevator. We gonna talk to Luba and discuss this apartment. The outside Is dark & terrifying but Inside Is a bright, clean & safe. I love the kitchen. The couch space Is really nice. I’d sit there all day & eat the cookies 🤩🍪

In the USSR we got flats for nothing. So it is not bad. The Government tried to build and give flats to all working peopld, so they were in a hurry and didn't pay much attention to its look.)))))
My dad got the flat from his state enterprise after 6 months after graduating. For free!!!!

Thing is from what i have seen, Russian civis dont think this is a very wise move. I just wish everyone could juat live peacefully. I mean we are all human and live on this planet together. I can't believe how different and nice the apartment looks considering the halls and stairs of the building, with all the graffitti and stuff. I was expecting something really shady.
I was pleasantly surprised. The building itself on the outside looked fairly rundown and the entrance areas looked a bit rough. But after entering the apartment I was surprised at how nice it is inside. Looks very comfortable indeed. Greetings from Thailand.

I find that style of interior design personally fascinating and charming despite its origins, y'all sure know how to make things work over there in Eastern Europe overall, and honestly the interior of the hallways in the complex building and even photos of other apartments from the Soviet era (in particular those with lace curtains and wooden display cases) make me think of my aunt's apartment she had in the projects somewhere here in New Orleans in the 1990s...makes me think about how much more alike on planet Earth than we are different 💖💖💖💖.

Stop encouraging violence, an American general himself said that Zalensky could've de-escalated, instead they're escalating the war and corporations like Ratheon are profiting and gonna roll in the green. If Zalensky just surrendered and allowed for it to be neutral, all these civilians wouldn't be dying. sadly most ex soviet countries have these and most of the entries look like this! some are renovated but rarely as people dont have money/would rather spend it on the flat renovation

Just listen to the way they talk about the apartment! In America all I hear is people complain they don’t have enough. But one window with a great view, I wish more people thought like this.
Cause people in America people know that they live in a great country and will not accept such primitive terrible conditions. Ukrainian is a poor country, socialist, a lot of corruption and control. Sure people should appreciate being brought up in better conditions

They usually look 10x better on the inside than on the outside. Ukrainian apartment buildings are usually pretty run down and dirty. Fortunately often the apartments are kept up. Though.. not always.

Thanks for sharing your home with us. Its very interesting to see typical life in other countries. Just FYI (for your information) I noticed, based on several small things but mostly on the uniqueness of the main living room unique ceiling, the original architectural stylings of the apartment and building look like a particular style called "Art Deco".
I saw that your parents know a lot about gardening and growing fruit trees. You both should learn as much as you can from them. They know what grows well in your climate in which seasons, and other important details regarding FRESH seeds and also canning for long term storage. The best and most healthy foods are grown in the family garden. The "labor of love" is the secret, special ingredient in homemade, fresh food. Enjoy! My parents grew up on farms, out in the country. They both taught me so much. I have lived in a city, but we would go visit my grandparents in the country side often.
Learn as much as you can from your parents and be sure to appreciate them while they are alive. My Parents have passed away now but what you both said about the parent sending food reminded me of mine. I miss the nice way they would still try to take care of their adult children by sending food and whatever they could. Its very sweet. I hope you both are well and doing fine.
Funny. I'm in 🇺🇸 and we have a plastic bag with bags under the kitchen cabinet. My wife is the bag hoarder. I'll go to them some of them out and all I hear is, "Don't do that."

@@abccba7301 Yep. I thought the same. When they entered the building, I thought, "omg I wouldn't go in there!" Then the staircase, "Oh no!" But in the apartment, it was a nice, organized, clean home. Such a contrast. I pray this couple is safe and together, and that peace gets restored quickly.

I find it fascinating that the hallways and elevator are so run down and horrible but the apartment itself is absolutely beautiful. I would love that apartment. It's a shame the rest of the building is not well kept and scary. Thank you for showing us your lovely home.
