If you go by your logic almost everyone self fuel their cars in USA, the possibility of more such accidents should happen only first world countries?
The spark from a static charge is rare case. The build up voltage must be very high to produce spark.

I'm X shell employee. The reason is to minimize the risk. We ensure few steps to maintain safety
1. Engine turned off
2. Bike stand must be mounted
3. Rider alone allowed near bike while fueling
4. We make sure no sudden movement (cell phone comes under this. The main reason is we may not react normally for emergency scenario and it may cause unstable conditions)
5. Gun nozzle should be touched for proper earthing ( all pumps facilitated with high standard earth)
6. Payments will at the end of fueling

கார்க்கு பெட்ரோல் போடும்போது நாம் எப்படி செயல்பட வேண்டும் என்ற ஒரு அறிவுரை எனக்கு கிடைத்தது நன்றி..
இது நாள் வரை நான் செய்த தவறு
1) பெட்ரோல் நிரப்பும் போது என்ஜின் அனைக்காதது
2) 2-3 மணி நேரம் ஓட்டிய பின் உடனடியாக பெட்ரோல் போட்டது.
3) பெட்ரோல் பங்கில் இறங்கி கார் டேங்க் பக்கம் போயி நின்றது.
பிற்காலங்களில் எனக்கு எதும் அசம்பாவிதம் நடக்காமல் இருக்க உங்களது வீடியோ உதவியது...
