I agree with this one as a Tvs apache user where i had a bad experience with them while taking my Rtr 160 in 2018 after taking my delivery i heard a squeaking noise from the front disc then i informed them regarding this but they casually said that it will go after some time but it never was .Right after this i posted this scenario with their official tvs handle on fb and boom within half an hour i got the call from the Mg tvs asking me to come asap so that the complaint will be cleared from their side.My suggestion is if you are having any bad experience with the showroom or while taking the delivery straight away never hesitate to contact your official brand where these were not run by them where everyone is a dealer here only the brand can able to fix this.

This showroom problem is all around the world, they don't have trained mechanics, all they have are apprentice technicians and they are relatively new to the work. So I buy the spares by myself and replace them with the help of UA-cam else I take it to a trustworthy mechanic and spend the entire day with him and replace it. Else buy a new vehicle if the repair is pretty big. The simple problem for this cause is the demand is quite high and the need is also high, so these things are pretty common.
TVS sowdeswari salem is also in the fraud list.. For generating monthly revenue and achieving target. They are looting customer money.. disk cleaning and sensor spare mandatory ₹295 charged. But in another showroom service centre person is saying there is no such thing as sensory spray, and disk cleaning is not mandatory.. all services centers are worst and after selling vehicles they are fully dependent on service revenue so they charge unwanted.. There is one more fraud Annual Maintenance Contract which is also a fraud plan to collect money ...
My friend has given his Yamaha R15 V3 for Service in showroom and the bill amt is Around 23,000. When my friend wanted to pay through credit card they said that they will charge 1.5% extra since bill amt exceeds 10,000. So my friend said that he will pay 9500 through credit card and balance with UPI, but the showroom said split is not allowed. We argued with the manager a lot, then only he agreed for the payment through card and UPI. this is also their way of charging us more. Beware!!!

Received SMS notification for the service done on different dates and with a minimum amount (300 rs) but my actual service amount will be around 2k. 3. received that bill notification with a different bike service centre name (the worst part). After discussing all these points with them, now they blocked me in the SMS notification list.

They are buying cheaper, duplicate spare parts and replacing. 3. We are having to go to the shop again and again because of half baked work. 4.. What would be the regular maintenance 1. Break adjustment 2. Engine oil You can buy castrol/motul and give it to them. For any major works go the experts like showroom trained persons. Check google reviews before approaching a branch. Not all are doing the SCAM. And yeah they have to pay to building rent, employees salary, and spend money on marketing their showroom. So, they have to collect this money from end users like what textiles shops are doing.

I own a car a bike and a scooter. From my experience Showrooms charges exorbitantly wherever you go. They do this because of 2 reasons. 1 is vehicle warranty ( you have to do service with them to claim warranty) 2 is they invest on machinery, tools and training. Authorized service centers charges sky high Whether its a 2 wheeler or 4 wheeler. I go to ASC for my 4 wheeler which is within warranty period. and for 2 wheeler i prefer local mechanic shop.

Changed around 15 (1100 apprx)head bearings in my r15 still the issue is not rectified, changed grease, tightened to proper tightening torque it will rust in few thousand kilometers, but stock bearing in my bike gave me around 30000kms without any issues.
I'm experiencing the same problem with the J Kay TVS showroom here in Puducherry. They're overcharging and their service is terrible. Even after completing the service, I'm still facing the same issues. I don't know where to complain. I'm really frustrated with them. It's outrageous. In future, they may even charge for moving the vehicle from the repair area to the exit. It's incredibly frustrating.

This showroom problem is all around the world, they don't have trained mechanics, all they have are apprentice technicians and they are relatively new to the work. So I buy the spares by myself and replace them with the help of UA-cam else I take it to a trustworthy mechanic and spend the entire day with him and replace it. Else buy a new vehicle if the repair is pretty big. The simple problem for this cause is the demand is quite high and the need is also high, so these things are pretty common.

My friend has given his Yamaha R15 V3 for Service in showroom and the bill amt is Around 23,000. When my friend wanted to pay through credit card they said that they will charge 1.5% extra since bill amt exceeds 10,000. So my friend said that he will pay 9500 through credit card and balance with UPI, but the showroom said split is not allowed. We argued with the manager a lot, then only he agreed for the payment through card and UPI. this is also their way of charging us more. Beware!!!

In my case, 1. they are including service tax instead of GST, 2. Received SMS notification for the service done on different dates and with a minimum amount (300 rs) but my actual service amount will be around 2k. 3. received that bill notification with a different bike service centre name (the worst part). After discussing all these points with them, now they blocked me in the SMS notification list.

1. Local mechanics are mostly no well versed in finding root cause and fixing it.
2. They are buying cheaper, duplicate spare parts and replacing.
3. We are having to go to the shop again and again because of half baked work.
4.. Stealing good parts from our vehicle and putting in another vehicle.
What would be the regular maintenance

2. Engine oil
You can buy castrol/motul and give it to them.
For any major works go the experts like showroom trained persons.
Check google reviews before approaching a branch. Not all are doing the SCAM.
And yeah they have to pay to building rent, employees salary, and spend money on marketing their showroom. So, they have to collect this money from end users like what textiles shops are doing.
I am going for company service only because of the proper tools. The local mechanic doesn't inform the estimate, also charges the same for service. only saving on the spare cost.

I own a car a bike and a scooter. From my experience Showrooms charges exorbitantly wherever you go. They do this because of 2 reasons. 1 is vehicle warranty ( you have to do service with them to claim warranty) 2 is they invest on machinery, tools and training. Authorized service centers charges sky high Whether its a 2 wheeler or 4 wheeler. I go to ASC for my 4 wheeler which is within warranty period. and for 2 wheeler i prefer local mechanic shop.

First time in 2005 when I done the service in show room that's the last service I have done in show room. They put 100 rs for parts and 150 rs for labour.

But oru point enna na ennadhan neenga OE spare showroom la vangunalum Illa Velila vangunalum spares quality is not good. Changed around 15 (1100 apprx)head bearings in my r15 still the issue is not rectified, changed grease, tightened to proper tightening torque it will rust in few thousand kilometers, but stock bearing in my bike gave me around 30000kms without any issues.
I'm experiencing the same problem with the J Kay TVS showroom here in Puducherry. They're overcharging and their service is terrible. Even after completing the service, I'm still facing the same issues. I don't know where to complain. I'm really frustrated with them. It's outrageous. In future, they may even charge for moving the vehicle from the repair area to the exit. It's incredibly frustrating.
